Absolutely worst dealership experience I've ever had I bought a sportser from them and wanted to talk about and change some things on the contract and they ignored my calls and emails and even when I came in at 12pm one day they told me every sales and finance associate was busy for the rest of the day even when I called them and told them I was coming after they said someone would meet with me it took months to actually get a hold of them and hold them accountable I had to talk to so many different people and go through so many different employees for any of them to actually do anything useful and they finally emailed me back about my questions and then again they ignored me further questions via email and phone call I wanted to remove gap insurance and warranty and since they lose money from that they were doing everything they could to make it damn near impossible to take off my contract by avoiding me at any cost. I've been to many other dealerships and boughten from other ones and no dealership has ever been so unprofessional and such awful customer service and communication. If you're buying a motorcycle go anywhere but riverside Harley they are the worst dealership I've ever been to and they will do everything they can to screw your over. read more

DO NOT GO TO RIVERSIDE HARLEY DAVIDSON!! If I could give them a negative rating, I would! My husband and I received a phone call from Riverside Harley saying that they were in desperate need of used Dynas for their inventory (we have a 2014 Dyna Lowrider), and were willing to offer us 150% Blue Book value for our bike. We went to the dealership today so they could look at our bike and make a formal offer. After three and a half hours of sitting in the dealership, they offered us $200 above Blue Book value to outright buy our bike, and a THIRD of Blue Book value in trade-in credit, with an additional requirement for money down if we wanted to get on another bike (which was older than ours and had nearly three times the miles on it). We were contacted under false pretenses by Alex, one of their sales representatives; once we were there, Chuck and Kevin "helped" us, despite the fact that we told them we were not interested in getting another bike, and even if we did, we were not putting any money down. As a side note, my husband is a Marine Corps veteran, and Riverside Harley repeatedly told us about the "benefits" and "deals" they offer veterans, which is a huge lie, since we had never been informed of the specifics or offered these "benefits" or "deals". We will NEVER be back to Riverside Harley Davidson, and we will make sure that NONE of our friends, family, or any veteran we meet EVER goes there either. read more

Being from northern California Riverside was quite a distance for me to purchase my 2015 Street Glide. Working with Taylor and Kayla made it an easy choice and I flew down to look at the Street Glide. Because of their dedication of making things easy obtaining the bike, I had no hesitation about hoping on a plane and purchasing the bike; they even picked me up at the airport and had donuts waiting for me. First of all I would like to thank the staff for taking care of me yesterday. Chris made sure the bike of my dreams came to life. He made sure that I would be paired up with the bike that I had in mind and the deal that I wanted. He then lead me to Josh to work with the numbers and my monthly payments. Honestly, I didn't even negotiate, he was straight forward and asked how much I can afford and we started from that. After he was done speaking with the bank guess what, he even got me a better deal than what I wanted! To finish up everything I was then redirected to Juan to sign the papers and talk about the contract. While doing so we had a good conversation about bikes and to my surprise, he was able to lower my monthly payment even more! Without me even asking! I just took the New Rider Course over at Riverside Harley Davidson. What an experience I had. I had no idea how to ride a bike and the only time I ever rode on the back of one a few times was when I was a teenager. My husband has a bike and I have wanted to always learn how to ride, way before I even met him. There was always something in the way of my schedule (maybe it was just fear). I always said, I would one day take the class. Well that "one day" came this past weekend. My friend mentioned that she was enrolling in a class and I expressed how lucky she was and how I always have wanted to. Next thing I know I'm signing up for a class, paying for it and on a motorcycle. I cannot believe the patience of these instructors (John Powell and Dave Rusk). The instructors, Jon and Dave, were friendly, kind, enthusiastic, funny, and positive and never made me feel like I couldn't do it. They cheered me on and encourage me every step of the way on the course. In the classroom they taught us the basics of motorcycle skills, gave us insights, got us familiar with the bike and they were always open to questions. I am so thrilled that I chose to take this class through Riverside Harley Davidson.These guys are amazing! Today I purchased my first Harley Davidson, this process was perfect. The entire staff made me feel like I was joining a family from start to riding home. Gary was the right guy, if you go just asked for Gary. There is nothing special in what he does, he just tells you they way it is and shows you. He has you jump on a few bike, making you feel all the different positions and then bam you feel it..... the right one. He gets your information and explains how everything will work. Truly explains what's going to happen, makes sure you're good with it. Numbers guy Nello .... (I am messing up that guys name, his is just not clicking right now) but he was another straight forward guy walked me through the process. He asked what I wanted and delivered. They have you go to each department. DMC in the service department was amazing. No tricks just laid out how everything is done and why, really great at explaining the VIP service booklet ... a no brainer. Anna the Manager was great, signing the paper and completing the deal was pleasant. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a pleasant experience with no bullshit and no Hasseling. Just go there!!! You won't be disappointed!!! Here's my story...So I started looking for my "dream bike" several months ago. Any time I went to the store to check out bikes, I was always greeted by helpful "fit specialists". About a month ago, I started to get more serious and I talked to Vince...then, last week, he took me on test rides on a couple of bikes within a few days and answered a ton of questions.On Sunday, he got me started with the pricing/negotiation process literally hours before he was due to leave for an anniversary weekend. He did a great job, then directed me to the right people who could take me the rest of the way while he was gone. Dan and Ana in the business department did a fantastic job of getting great deal on a new '16 Switchback and walked me through the whole financial, warranty and VIP program process. I ended up spending a little more on the bike, but got a fantastic deal on an extensive extended warranty and VIP program (meaning: all maintenance is taken care of for 3 years along with other perks). In the long run...this will save me a bundle!!! Then, they proceeded to give me the grand tour of everything that mattered (clothes--thanks Deb, parts--thanks Goldy, service/maintenance--Thanks Don, etc.). Everyone was very professional and even stayed 1 hour and 45 minutes after closing to get things done so I could ride my new baby home that night!!! There were a couple more people who were also great, but I can't remember their names right now...you know who you are though! The whole thing was an awesome blur including marching out and ringing the bell to the Foo Fighter's "My Hero" before leaving. Definitely the best "big purchase" experience of my life!!! I want to start out by saying that the Harley Riding Academy from Harley-Davidson of Riverside was the best decision I have ever made. My class was from Aug 4th-6th and it was AWESOME. I had the pleasure of Dave King and John Powell as our instructors. Jim Bridge was very nice to all of us and working with Sherrie was awesome. They really help you to understand the safety and educate you on how to properly use a motorcycle. On the obstacle course, they are very patient with you especially if your a beginner. Not once did I ever feel like i was holding up the class (since I've never rode a bike myself, always a passenger) and they really help you out when you have a question. A HUGE THANK YOU TO SHERRIE for helping me understand clutch/throttle!!! Everyone was soo nice and helpful. If i could i would definitely take the class again just to get a little bit more time on a motorcycle. I have already recommended this place to several of my friends. Took the MTC class this weekend. Paul Freidt and dyna Dave were excellent instructors and are great with people. They worked well together. Their patience was unlimited. I had taken a basic CHP approved MTC class about 10 years ago and I can think of two times it saved my life. Some of the material was a refresher (which is good) and I learned a lot of new material and skills to go with it. Jim Bridges rides herd on the Riding Academy stopped in several times. As I'm riding more with a larger bike, learning more how to stay alive seemed like a good idea. read more

On 4/19/2015, I bought a 2015 Harley Davidson, Road king at 7688 Indiana Ave, Riverside, CA 92504 Unfortunately, your product has not performed well and the service I received was inadequate. The first week of having the motorcycle, there was an oil leak due to issues from the manufacturer. Hot motor oil spilled all over my wife and I, burning her leg and we were unable to enjoy our day out due to the issue with the motorcycle. Upon calling the dealership to report the issue and have it fixed, I was troubled from the start. I called the dealership and was originally told I would have to wait 4 days for the motorcycle to be picked up. I told them I refused to wait 4 days and I was told to call a certain number for a tow truck. I had to call 4 different numbers to get the proper tow truck needed to tow the motorcycle back to the dealership. Upon the dealership receiving the motorcycle and inspecting it, I was told I would get a new motorcycle, this did not happen. I had to wait 6 days to get my motorcycle back after nonstop calling the dealership for updates. When I did receive my motorcycle back, I was disappointed and frustrated to see that there were oil stains that do not come off of the chrome parts of the engine. In addition to these stains, the worker at the dealership that took my motorcycle after I checked it in laughed and told me, "Oh it's a Harley, they always leak oil and break down". I am disappointed because from the start, there were issues with the oil leak and the service technicians at the dealership. In addition to the issues with the motorcycle itself, when I purchased the motorcycle, I purchased an extended 5-year protection plan. They filled out a card and even gave me the extended protection card with a plan number, my name and an expiration date. After dealing with the oil issue and receiving my first payment, I noticed the payment amount did not match what I signed during the contract signing. The amount was off and upon further investigation with the dealership; my 5-year extended protection was in fact not added to my purchase. When I called the dealership on 5/22/15 and asked them why my 5 year protection was not on file with the service center they told me that "I never purchased it". He later call me back and said that he had made a mistake and did not add my 5 protection plan. To make matters even worse, they failed to properly inform me that the first 2 years of the extended protection I purchased is covered by the manufacturer and then the remaining 3 years is covered by the dealership. Here I am thinking my 5-year extended protection is convenient and all I have to do is go to the dealership, I was very misinformed. Everything I was told and shown at the dealership was misrepresented and I feel as though the terms and conditions were not properly explained. In addition, I was never offered the Gap insurance for my motorcycle and I always buy Gap insurance on all my vehicles. I purchased this motorcycle to enjoy my time off work and forget about my troubles. I'm a disabled Iraq Veteran and did really believe that Harley Davison was a great company to buy a motorcycle from. I'm really bothered that I spent over $25,000 on your product and it was already had given me so many issues. There is no way I expected this much trouble with a brand new motorcycle, which is why I chose to purchase a new model not used. Part of Harley Davidson's mission statement is "fulfilling dreams of personal freedom is more than a phase. It's our purpose and our passion. We bring a commitment of exceptional customer experiences to everything we do". There is no dream here, only a nightmare. The choice I made in purchasing a Harley Davidson was because of the history and reputation of the brand, this dealership and their customer service representatives have not shown any commitment to the brand Harley Davidson. read more

If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. This was my first experience and first time buying a Harley and it was the greatest. I was greeted by Robby Stilwell and even though he knew my wife and I were most likely not gonna buy a bike he didn't prejudge us and still gave up 100% full attention and answered all our question was extremely thorough and very patient going through every bike and was very knowledgeable with EVERYTHING. He didn't prejudge us and ABSOLUTELY no pressure to buy a bike. I'm very happy they didn't kick us out at normal closing time and we didn't leave till 2 hours after closing time. This place is a joke, I never had such a bad experience like I did at riverside harley dealership. I had this guy "billy the kid" who was very helpful, he got me on a bike and answered all my questions. But there was some clown that referred to himself as "the number guy" he assured me I would ride my new 2015 road glide home, I told him I only had 5,000.00 on me but would be putting down a total of 14,000.00 or I would leave the deposit and come the following weekend with the total down payment (14,000.00) because we had driven from the San Fernando valley. His response was I would ride the bike home, after wasting 3 more hours showing me around and signing the sales contract and having my wife drive back home this idiot tells me I would not be taking the bike home because I didn't have the whole 14,000.00. I could not believe this idiot, I really thought I was being punked, my wife had to drive back to pick me up from San Fernando valley. I took the time to write the general manager (Doug) to let him know about my experience and he said he would investigate and call me back. It has been over a month and I'm still waiting to hear from him. Now I see why his employees pull this crap. I would not recommend this place to anyone. What I don't understand is that I told the "number guy" I was willing to leave the bike with a deposit of 5,000.00 and pick it up the following weekend with the extra 9,000.00 and take my bike then but this incompetent "number guy" assured me I was riding it home, so either way they would have had a sale. Jim Bridges, the manager of the Riding Academy program, was great: he helped me get enrolled, and helped with advice with local accommodations for the program, and even made himself available for questions after hours. The instructors, Dan Parks and Kathie Carter- there's not enough good things to say about them. They were invested in the group of us students of all varying ranges of experience, and were able to provide advice and coaching to each person. My husband and I had visited this dealership a few times in the past and everyone here is always so helpful, polite and professional. I called into this dealer on a Monday morning just to get some info on a bike my husband had seen in an ad. I spoke with Kayla and she was very nice. I called back a couple more times and she had no problem answering my questions. Finally, Kayla suggested we get financing out of the way so that we know what we are looking at if Bert - my husband - decides to buy. She was not pushy at all and made the initial application process very easy and simple. Now, I do realize this is her job, my point is, she did it well. :) She passed our application onto Doc who was also very knowledgeable and extremely patient with me. He had all the information I needed. It was just a matter of getting there in person to pick out a motorcycle and sign the contract. They took care of everything before we got there. This was perfect and a huge time saver. We made an appointment to meet with Doc that Thursday, it was Bike Night and they were super packed. I asked for Kayla and she introduced my husband and I to Brandon Macias the FIT Specialist - one of the sales associates. Brandon showed us around and answered all the questions that Bert and I had. His extensive knowledge on the the Harley Davidson line and history was amazing. I was impressed to say the least. Brandon was patient, not a all pushy, understanding and just a really cool guy. He helped Bert make a final decision on the bike he wanted and done. The financing took quite some time, but that was my fault. I don't go into contracts lightly and I really have unending questions. I write this review with mixed feelings. I have been a customer to this dealership for almost four years back when it was still Skip Fordyce HD. I've spent thousands in parts and labor and have gotten to know some of the staff. I consider myself pretty patient and understanding when working with businesses but I feel that this review is in order. Before I begin, let me say the guys in the parts department have always been great. Nick and Richard have always made me feel at home and helped me through a lot of repairs with their parts knowledge. I think that if it wasn't for them I probably would have gone to another dealership long ago. Also, Bob, the Buell tech seems to be a great guy with a lot of knowledge on the Buells. First of all, I ride a Buell. I understand that HD closed down Buell many years ago and that parts are not stocked at the dealer level for financial purposes, so my review factors that in. I've had about 4-5 instances of taking my bike into HD for service... 2-3 times with my Sportster and 2 times with my Buell. Each time, there have been hiccups and issues with service that I've just shrugged off as minor missteps. For instance, one time, the service department inspected my Sportster for an issue with my front master cylinder. They ordered the part and I rode home on the bike they had just finished inspecting. When I was on the freeway, I noticed my throttle was sloppy. When I got home, I examined the throttle and found the throttle cables completely loosened and the rubber boot pulled down. They had forgotten to tighten the throttle cables after inspecting my bike... And had sent me on my way with a potentially dangerous situation. After the parts came in, I returned and they installed it without further incident. With my Buell, I had an issue back around March 2015 with the engine cutting out at idle. I did some research and found that other Buellers had similar issues tied either a bad IAC or a TPS sensor on its way out. In either instance other owners reported no CEL codes showed up. I dropped the bike off and let the service tech know my findings. After a week or so, I was called and told it was the IAC. After waiting another week or so for the part to come in, they determined it was not the IAC. I reiterated my belief that it was the TPS and they continued their diagnosis. Long story short, a MONTH later, I went to pick up my bike which was reported as fixed. I rode home and the following morning the bike had the same issue... I made another appointment with HD for the following weekend to remedy the problem. In the meantime, I ran down to my local autozone and picked up a TPS. 30 minutes later, I replaced the TPS and the bike was fixed... I understand that it is difficult to stock parts to test theories for diagnosis of problems, but a month with a bike and spinning wheels trying to find the source of a problem is hard to justify. To HD's credit, they refunded my money and apologized for the inconvenience. In all, that month without my commuter cost me approximately $300 in both gas and toll fees that I would not have incurred had my bike been operational. This last visit to HD was what broke the camel's back, if you will. I had an oil cooler return line pop loose on the freeway on the way to work. I had the bike towed to HD and left it to be repaired. I was assured they would also clean the oil that was covered the rear tire and the entire right side of the bike. It took almost three weeks to replace one line and fittings since they didn't order all the parts on the first try. I was also assured that since I had to wait longer they would take care of me. When I picked up the bike I asked if the bike had been cleaned since i was on my way in to work and would be commuting about 60 miles and did not want to have any issues with the oil on my tires, swing arm, drive belt, etc. After waiting 15 minutes, my bike was rolled out, still dripping water from just being washed. I was in a hurry so I did a quick examination and rode to work. Halfway to work, I smelled burning oil. I ended up looking over the bike carefully after arriving at work. The bike had oil on the sidewalls of my rear tire, oil and grime all over the spokes, drive belt, oil pump cover, exhaust... Essentially it looked like they pressure washed the bike and towel dried it without using any soap to remove the oil... For $250+ to replace $50 in parts and oil filter and oil and to let a bike leave the shop in that sloppy state is what prompted me to write this review. If I had crashed on the freeway due to oil residue on my rear tire, you better believe my attorney would be calling instead of a Yelp review. It is the service department's job to ensure a high standard of service worthy of the HD brand is given. I am unsure how I will proceed in the future yet when it comes to service at Riverside HD. I refuse to pay premium prices for subpar service. read more

Place is garbage can't get in the parking lot. Most of the stuff they have on their website isn't even there at the shop. They try to sale you a bike you don't want. The sales guy I had seemed like I was bothering him. So I took my 30k to another Harley dealership. read more
