I've been looking for a motorcycle shop because it seems like my only option is a Harley dealership. I had a bad experience with the Harley dealership, not pay attention to the work they've done on my motorcycle. Took it in for a 10,000 mile service and told him that the transmission was leaking. They said I would have to replace certain parts to stop the leak. I looked at the transmission housing and saw that it was missing a bolt. I changed the bolt myself and the transmission Stop leaking. You would think expensive Harley mechanics would've noticed that and replaceable what a simple fix. Not wanti read more

Steve and Ryan are great guys, super helpful, and honest with what they recommend. They communicate and let you know what's up ASAP. They are always busy, but make time for you. Wanted to wait a few hundred miles before reviewing because I knew I'd be biased by how good my experience with Steve was. Well, I waited 500 miles and now I'm even more impressed. He's an awesome dude who knows these bikes in and out. On top of that, he's a really cool guy who will do everything he can for you. You really can't beat him and his crew. Because he's the best he's busy but he squeezed me in and got my bike tuned up and now it runs better than it did new. Steve said he could get me in for a 10k maintenance even though he was swamped and when he found out I had a misfire, he went above and beyond to spend some extra time fixing that too. He also knew exactly which tires would ride best with my 1200 custom (Dunlop's) and I'll never go back to the Michelins I was on before. Everything he told me panned out. Best place to take your harley. Steve and the mechanics are always helpful. They do great work, good pricing and treat you like a friend. I call to ask questions about my bike often (which i feel like a nuisance) but never have any of them made me feel like i was a problem. I have had them work on my bike and they have given me advice on doing the work myself, either way they are just as courtesy. They dont try to sell you on things you dont need, i was lucky to have been referred to Mihali, usually it takes me going to several shops before i find one with the customer service and quality work these guys have. Solid shop i will go here for as long as the doors are open and refer as many people as i can to them. read more

We were recommended to Mahali Cycles by a Baker Transmission Rep. That in itself impressed the heck outta my husband and I! We had been researching Reverse gears for a little while and I had decided to go with the reverse gear that Baker has. My dilemma after that was finding a reputable business to install it. With the recommendation from Baker, we contacted Steve Mahali to talk with him about installing the reverse gear. We discovered in our conversations with Steve, that he is genuinely a good guy and wants to do right by his customers. I have known Steve since 2002 and he's the only Mechanic I've had work on my Harley's. I've had 3 different ones and other then his stint in Reno he's the only guy that's worked on them. At times he's booked about a week out depending on what bike events are coming up but WELL worth the wait. I've recommended him to a few of my friends and they have now become loyal customers. Found Mihali Cycle Service after having called a number of shops and a dealership. I needed electrical controls removed from some mini ape hangers that had wiring inside the bars. Even with bars removed, dealer wanted two hours of labor to disassemble connections, remove wires and reassemble connections for reinstalling on bike. It took Steve less than 15 minutes to disassemble the bars and instruct me on reassembly. He even provided new shrink wrap so everything will look tidy when finished. Saved a bunch of $. Great to find another honest repair shop. read more
