Yesterday I stopped by Riverside Harley-Davidson, and at first everything seemed great. We were in the negotiation stage, going back and forth, and after sitting there for over two hours, they finally brought in a manager named Peter Palmer. Unfortunately, that's when the experience went downhill. I completely understand when a dealership reaches its limit and says, "This is the best we can do." I respect honesty and transparency. However, throughout the process, I was never clearly told what they were selling the bike for or what financing rates were available. I repeatedly stated that I have excellent credit and even told them that if they thought I was being dishonest, they could simply verify it and back out of the deal if necessary. When Peter came to the table, he said, "This is not adding up," and then proceeded to laugh in my face. I immediately told him that we should keep the conversation professional. If we couldn't make a deal, I was perfectly fine walking away. At that point, I left and went home. Later, I texted the salesman, Rutendo, who was as helpful as he could be throughout the process. I told him the maximum number I was willing to agree to. He called me back and said that Peter, the finance manager, believed we had a deal and that all they needed to do was run my credit. I agreed and completed the credit application online. Afterward, I received a call from Kehler, and suddenly the agreement we had discussed changed. I was told this new offer was the best they could do. I explained that this was exactly why I was hesitant to run my credit in the first place. It felt like they assumed that once my credit was pulled, I would feel obligated to buy the bike. That's simply not how it works. The professionalism displayed by Peter was beyond disappointing. Had he simply explained from the beginning what rates were available for top-tier credit, what the actual selling price of the bike was, and what their final offer would be, I would have respected that. Instead, it felt like an attempt to pressure me into a deal that was never actually agreed upon. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership. Now I understand why their review scores are so low. Very disappointing from a dealership that claims to be "straight shooters." My experience was the complete opposite. read more

I came into this 2-day basic course feeling like an actual BABY. I didn't know how to walk, I didn't know how to babble, and I definitely did not speak motorcycle. I walked out two days later not only knowing how to ride a motorcycle, but feeling comfortable and confident in my own skin on one. I learned how to recognize hazards, how to react, where my attention needs to be, and--most importantly--how much I STILL have to learn. I genuinely think it's a damn shame more riders don't understand what they're missing by not taking a safety course like this. Even if you already know how to ride, refreshing your understanding of the road and how to respond when something goes wrong is invaluable. These people aren't just trying to get you through a class. They want you to make it home. I graduated from here feeling like I earned my little wings. I left with SO much knowledge--and somehow also realizing there will never be such a thing as knowing enough. Jay is SUPERWOMAN. She is a girl's girl through and through. She was encouraging, helpful, patient, and knew exactly when I needed that extra bit of reassurance. Having her there made such a difference for me. And then there's Dave. I want to specifically say this for anyone who comes in nervous like I did: do not let his teaching style on the first day deter you. Because of my own background and fears surrounding motorcycles, his firmness initially made me uneasy. By the end, I understood him completely. You are learning a skill that can genuinely be dangerous if you don't respect it. Dave isn't going to sugarcoat that. He drills things into you here because out in the real world, you may have seconds--or less--to react. THAT is when you'll be grateful somebody cared enough to correct you instead of simply telling you that you're doing great. And once I found my own confidence, reset my aim, turned my head and trusted the bike, I discovered the secret: underneath that hard exterior, Dave is actually a sweet little jelly. You have to earn your wings first! Brian was the person in the background rooting for me before I even got there. He coordinated with me, helped me figure out dates and made getting into the course so much easier. He is genuinely such a sweet guy with a good heart. And last but absolutely not least, Stephanie spent time talking with me and even helped send me off with some souvenirs for the long haul. That little bit of kindness meant so much to me. I can't thank Jay, Dave, Brian, Stephanie and everyone here enough. Each person played a different role in making this experience what it was. I came in afraid and completely inexperienced. I left educated, aware, confident, and excited to keep learning. Thank you for being part of the motorcycle community and for actually caring about the people you're sending out onto the road. The manager specials on their website looked too good to be true, and they were. I reached out to the sales team about two bikes listed on special. One of the salespeople kept contacting me and repeatedly said, "My system shows the bikes are available." Even after I asked them to verify whether the bikes were actually on the lot, the only answer I got was basically, "Well, the system says they are." I also asked for the out the door price with all taxes, fees, and dealer charges included, and they would not give me a straight answer on that either. Instead continuing to ask me to come in. So I went to the dealership, and sure enough, neither of the two bikes listed on special were there. It has now been about two weeks, and both bikes are still listed on their website. At this point, it feels like those listings are being used to get people into the dealership so they can try to sell them something else once you're already there. Really disappointing experience. I tried to confirm availability and pricing before making the trip, but got nowhere. If you don't live around the corner, I'd be very cautious before spending your time going in. read more

I found a Harley-Davidson account/inquiry connected to my credit report that I did not authorize. I called the dealership multiple times asking whether my credit was only run or if someone actually purchased a bike using my identity. I was repeatedly told the general manager was busy and would call me back, but I never received a return call. On 6/10/26, a representative named Edgar called me asking how my bike was. I explained that I was actually calling because I was a victim of identity theft and needed clarification on whether a motorcycle had been purchased in my name. Since then, I have continued trying to reach management and still have not received assistance or a callback. This situation is extremely serious and stressful when someone's identity and credit are involved. I am simply asking for communication, confirmation of what happened, and help resolving the issue. Never buy, nor get your Bike services at this place! I took it 3 weeks ago for a simple hose repair replacement to get done all while I never got a call back to get an update. I had to call all mail every day for the last two weeks only to be placed on hold for longer than 10-20mins; nobody ever came back. I also called the front desk and left 3 messages for a manager or in/charge to call me back; nobody ever did. I sent two messages via the website, never got a call back. I actually had another Harley service manager call for me as a courtesy and he got the same treatment - nobody either answered and did jot get a call back. October 2025 I took the Bike for 5k service, on a Sunday, was told it would be done by 2pm, I had to wait there till 6pm closing to get it and the promised wash detail was not done. In November 2025 I got a call from a "customer experience manager", and he has not responded and is no longer in that role at the store. I paid $35k and spend thousands since on accessories, just looking for a little courtesy or customer service. My wife is actually more angry than I am - she wants to ride with her new touring pack. Now I look like a chump, while all I get from EVERY employee at that store is: aloofness, apathy, horrible customer service and bottom line lack of taking accountability responsibility. If I could, I would sell the Bike - the brand is tainted by dealerships like this one. Shame on you Riverside Harley-Davidson... read more

I attended the motorcycle academy at Riverside Harley Davidson. I was nervous initially, but I went in for the tour beforehand and that eased all of my nerves. Every person there is friendly and welcoming, it's a cool place to chill for anyone. Our group size wasn't overwhelming and the instruction was communicated perfectly even for someone like me that's never been on a motorcycle. Adrianne and John our instructors kept things so light and fun. There was way more laughter and casual conversation among everyone than I expected which was awesome!
