I just purchased my first bike from this dealership, Jared, David and the rest of staff treated me with great. I didn't have to wait for assistance, that's exceptionally good, giving the whole situation, with all this COVID 19 stuff. I recommend anyone who's looking for a bike to check out their inventory, you wont be disappointed. read more

From our fiat visit - though my Harley Riding Academy - to my experience with arrive on my 09 Road King, the staff at Riverside Harley has been stellar. We can't recommend them enough. Even when we have to wait a bit on the phone, they always take the time to treat us like humans - not numbers. Thank you Riverside Harley Davidson - we will definitely be back soon read more

I took the CMSP Learn to Ride class here and loved it. Before this weekend I had never sat on a running motorcycle and was a little nervous to try. After two days, I feel very comfortable on a bike and I am probably going to buy one soon. Brian and Paul were super helpful and very knowledgeable. Whenever something didn't feel right, they told me exactly what I was missing and helped me learn with confidence. Not only do I know how to ride a motorcycle, I also understand safety information and emergency preparedness. This class offers a lot of bang for your buck -- you get the M1 recommendation at the end (which lets you waive the riding test at the DMV), you can come back and retake the course as a refresher anytime, and you get a 15% discount on Harley gear. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who is even remotely interested in motorcycles. read more

This review is regarding Brent in the Parts Department. I drove to HD in a hurry this past Saturday, and needed some last-minute parts for my 1000 mile service. Brent hooked me up with some o-rings, when he didn't need to. Excellent customer service!! THANKS BRENT! read more

Got to learn how to ride with some of the nicest and funny instructors. going into the course I had no prior knowledge whatsoever on riding a motorcycle. Brian and Dan were great at explaining and assisting us while riding. I was scared in the beginning but by the end I gained a little more confidence thanks to the instruction from Brian and Dan! Loved it would recommend 10/10. read more

Chris "Stretch" can't say enough about him! The best customer service. My husband Javier bought his second bike after 7 months. Chris advised us on which type of bike for a better ride, what looked best, his opinion really mattered as he is well versed in riding and overall the bikes. Can't remember the other guys name that helped us but he was very nice and knowledgeable as well. Ana in finance was awesome very nice and helpful. We met the GM on bike night very accommodating! So nice! Everyone at Riverside Harley is super nice! Go get ur bike here! Go see Chris and Ana Thank you from Javier and Ana Ruiz read more

Worst Customer Service Ever! This review is specific to Chris S, assistant sales manager only. My husband went there to buy his bike, he already know what he wanted, so he saw the bike and was ready to get quote. So we were waiting, then this a**hole (Chris S) came to us. First off, my husband is a veteran and they have a copy of his ID and has excellent credit score. He started asking - For a copy of my husband SS ID, he said the the bank needs a copy. (Its the FIRST TIME THE SOMEBODY ASKED US for the actual copy of SS ID) and that they can't run the numbers if they don't see the copy of actual ID - If my husband is a resident or working visa (so judgemental! why TF are you asking? You know he was in the military the first place) - If my husband bought a car priced more than 20k before (he can check his credit history that he/we have a house and 60grand car and this will be like our 5th big purchase) - Then my husband finally found a picture of his social ID and showed it to him but still won't give him a detailed quote/numbers. My husband was asking for interest rate and he couldn't tell him and saying that they can't run it. We were not lowballing we just wanted to see the number/options and we were being nice the whole time! And then suddenly he told him that the bike my husband chose was already sold to someone else WHILE WE ARE TRYING TO GET THE DEAL!!! And that was like 730pm and looks like were the only customer left there. BULLSHIT!!! We left with nothing because clearly he did not want to sell us anything!! You totally judged, discriminated and humiliated my husband! Why? Because he's wearing his work uniform that did not meet your standards who can afford a Harley? You can't believe that as young as him is more successful than you are? Shame on you!! HD Riverside should get rid off you!! read more

My review is going to be two part - my buying experience, and my riders academy experience. Let me start by saying I have never owned my own motorcycle. My Mr. has an Ultra Classic, and I have always wanted a motorcycle, but I didn't know how to ride. I had to get a bike that fit me (I'm 5' tall), wasn't too heavy to maneuver, and I could learn on to build my confidence on getting what I really want (a road king). Knowing this, Seth helped me choose the Iron 883. Seth is really knowledgeable, patient and just super helpful. The part that frustrated me a bit was when we went to finance. My credit score is tier 1, and I have the income to qualify, but because we already have one motorcycle financed through Harley, they wanted me to have a Co-signer. When I refused to get a Co-signer, the first bank they tried of course approved me. Ana in finance was able to get on the phone and have our APR cut in half saving us a ton of money. Now that I had a bike, I needed to learn how to ride that guy. Harley threw in the Riding class (along with a bunch of other things that were negotiated in the deal) and I went to talk to Jim about scheduling a class. Can you believe he was able to get us in that night???!!!! The class is 3 days long. Running Tuesday evening from 6:30-9 (set in the classroom), Wednesday and Thursday 7am-12 (range) 1-4 (classroom). My Mr. who has been riding for over 15 years also enrolled (more as support for me). Brian and John were our instructors. Now remember, I didn't know how to ride. There were a few folks in our class that never rode, and also a few that have been on dirt bikes and motorcycles all of their lives. The age range in our class was 16 to 55+. Brian and John were both so great. They were clear in their instructions and demonstrations, and had the patience to match. I dropped my bike in total 3x (only while at a standstill) but as my confidence built, the more and more comfortable I got. Both John and Brian were supportive and frankly, I couldn't wait for the "Good Job" after the exercise. My Mr. also enjoyed the class and learned something new. The 10 students that were in my class each passed the skills test, and the written test that is given. A 100% success rate is partially due to the student but mostly reflect how good the instructors are. EVERYONE should take this class!!! I really liked that the bikes were provided for us - that way if you do drop, it's their bike and not yours; and the fact that we were able to do the skills portion of the test here on the bikes we've been practicing on vs at the DMV. I also enjoyed Brian and John's sincerity in really wanting the riders to learn. I bought my bike Tuesday, learned how to safely ride my bike weds & thurs, and will have my license on Friday after I hit DMV up to take my written test. CANT BEAT THAT!!! Since Harley has a cool program where you can trade in your bike within a year and get the full value you paid into it, I will be taking advantage of that when I've spent some time on my 883. ROAD KING in 2019 is what it's gonna be lol Thank you Jim for squeezing us in last minute, and for encouraging both my Mr and I - who have two totally different skill levels - to take this class. And Thank you Brian and John for all the knowledge you shared! Btw - I totally got the "Best Improved" award that I will frame and will be hanging in our Harley Garage! read more

Worst experience of my life. Talked to John over the phone and put in for my financing online He said " your good to go " This was a big question I had due to the 3 hr drive to their location. I was looking at a 2014 Road Glide. My friend was also looking at a bike also. John told him "I will have the bike ready and waiting for you to take a test drive when you come down." Upon arriving to Riverside Harley after a 3 hour drive we found that NOTHING in the store was priced. ONLY new bikes NO used bikes were priced. The bikes we were supposed to look at were not there. We could not tell which bikes we were supposed to look at due to the fact that all the bikes were mixed together with no pricing. So our salesperson, Steve, took us over to the warehouse. The warehouse has 10 to 15 bikes in various disrepair, such as the first thing we were greeted with, a Road King with a towel sticking out the bottom of it and a puddle of oil the size of an apple pie. We found my friend's bike( with the preview certified sticker on it) only to find that the battery was dead and it was dirty. This should've clued us in on what we had gotten ourselves unprepared, lying dealership who will do anything to get their customers to come down and buy something. After 30 minutes of waiting they were finally able to get the bike started with the pre-certified sticker on it and it had a knock? How does it have a knock if it's pre-certified I said to myself. Then we went on to the bike that I was interested in I kept inquiring about the price and they would dodge the question, I can't get a hold of this person or that So I can't give you a price they said. Finally they came over and told me to fill out some additional paperwork for financing when they came back with the price of the bike and the ridiculous finance offer that they were offering me. I'm taking to consideration that the bike I was interested in also had the certified card on it When I touched the stop light where the plate was located, it was ready to fall off, there were scratches on the bag, which the salesman licked his finger and said this will rub out it's just a contact mark. I knew the depth of the contact mark. I knew that it was not going to buff out. In the sun, I was able to see more things: the tired look at the bike, the badges missing the cracks in the saddlebags, the areas where you can tell that the bike had been tipped over on both sides. I asked them do you know the condition of the bike? Have you looked at the cosmetics of the bike? Is there any wiggle room in the price? They were asking $17999 for a tired used 2014. They came back with yes we can take $1000 off making the bike $16,999 to my dismay. As I continued on with the sale trying to get a better price, they came back with an increased down and monthly, after being pre-qualified before I left home I told them this is not what John and I had discussed over the phone. I was very specific on the price I wanted, the down payment I wanted and the monthly payment I wanted. They told me John had nothing to do with it His only job was to get people in and that they would talk to him about doing things like this but nevertheless it was what it was. Riverside Harley Davidson's salesman, phone recruiter and the financing department are terrible to deal with. I came down there with two other people: my friend and I planned on driving two Harley's home and a 3rd driver to bring the car the 3.5 hours home, we decided to leave. The salesman was not very helpful, he wouldn't tell my friend when the bike's knock would be looked at by service. He did not ask him if he wanted to call after it was looked at. ( by the way the bike is still advertise for sale on their site). He did not even give me the price of the bike that I was looking at. Honestly I don't even know if that's the bike I was looking at. He never bothered to look any deeper as I asked him specifically for the bike that I had saw online. Even or 3rd driver was trying to buy a pair of gloves and he could not find a price on those. So we left. I thought Harley Davidson dealerships have to be the worst places on earth to shop for anything. And who knows maybe it was just the color of our skin yes I will throw that out there. But I must say THANK YOU Riverside Harley Davidson for your TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, AWFUL SERVICE that helped us choose Antelope Valley Harley Davidson and my perfect bike purchase with the down, monthly and total cost that you said I couldn't get. Don't be SCAMMED! Don't go Here! READ REVIEWS OF THOSE BUYING NOT TAKING CLASSES THROUGH THEIR STORE. read more

Looked into trading my motorcycle for a lowrider s, salesmen were so pushy and cant even give you a definite price. When you try to leave..they bring out their "boss" trying to look cool and wont let you leave until u sign papers to check credit...theyll keep calling you trying to make a sale over and over while still not giving you a price on a motorcycle...when i was there, they end up quoting me 24k for a lowrider s? And not even give me a legit value for my trade in..tells me to give 7k down and payment of $550?? All this with a good credit score lmao no wonder they have so many motorcycles to choose from, noones buying from place.. do yourself a favor and go somewhere else...i got a brand new bike for a very reasonable price elsewhere no thanks to this dealership read more

I used to be a fan of this location and when Chuck was there I knew I would be taken care of. The problem is they will sell you a warranty and service agreement, won't explain it and blame you for not reading the fine print. I wasted thousands of dollars for service and warranties I didn't need nor did I use. I tried to work something out and they refused to help me. I have now decided to go from Riverside to Temecula for service and parts. I am no longer a fan of this business who would rather nickel and dime you out of your hard earned money just to make a profit. They also act like they are the Gods of Service by the price they charge compared to other dealerships. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! read more

I saw a bike on their website for sale, I called and spoke with someone( no names). She told me the bike was there. I asked her if she could physically make sure do to the face that I'm from the bay area and do not want to fly or drive 6 hours for nothing. After a 10 min pause on the phone she came back to confirm it was there. She also said to call back at the end of the day to make sure it hasn't sold. I understood and did as she requested. I called back at 5:30pm and spoke with a man who I also asked to check on the bike and after a brief pause he also confirmed the bike was there. So I flew out first thing and when I arrived was greeted properly and was told to give them a few mins they will get the bike. After about 30 mins the sales guy told me that the bike had sold on Sunday and that the tins were transferred to another bike. He assured me that the management would fix the wrong knowing that I just flew out from the bay area. They found another bike and they said they would honor the same price. I agreed and after about 1 hour I guess a manger came to me and said ohh sorry this bike is $36K can we get close to this price? Which now I was getting pissed because it felt like they were trying to bait and switch me. Then after about 30 more mins another Manager came and she also asked me the same question. Now I'm really pissed. After another hour and no results or any solutions they had the sales guy who was very understanding came and told me that they couldn't do anything. So I had to order an uber and buy a last min flight. I called them to give them an opportunity to fix the wrong however nothing. I truly hope this gets to the owner because this is ridiculous and given the history of this family ran business for over 45 years it's sad. read more

I had been looking for a used Harley and did a search on Google and Riverside popped up. I was a little apprehensive about looking there because I'm 3 hours away from Riverside, but I am so glad I did. From talking to Mike Medrano on the phone and him answering my questions and walking me through an application process to Bryan helping me out at the dealership and Juan in finance, I had a great experience. My wife and I kept commenting how great everyone was including other employees helping others. Medrano checked in with me from time to time. Bryan was so helpful and relatable. He was so knowledgeable and I appreciated that with this being my first Harley. Bryan walked me to the back to see the bikes that needed service and that's where I found my 2018 Street Bob! Test drive was amazing and Bryan was so accommodating on the ride. I was able to take a tour of the facility before meeting Juan in financing and sitting in that office with that man was a treat! He was so nice and we were chatting it up with him like we were old friends. My wife and I had a wonderful experience and if were ever in the area (I'm 3 hours away) I definitely want to stop by! A testament to the customer service: while my wife and I were waiting for the bike to get prepped for transport we noticed that a kid was with his dad. The kid told an employee he was cold and the employee (I didn't catch his name) walked him to the Harley gear and the kid walked back wearing a sweater. My wife and I were so pleased with what we saw. Customer service and the entire experience was top notch. I will be telling everyone about the team at this Riverside location and how wonderful they were. Thank you to everyone! read more

Riding Academy Review: I took the course this weekend and couldn't be happier with the instructor, Dave Rusk and Sherri Crosson! They were honestly the best coaches, teachers, trainers, instructors I think I could ever have. I am extremely impressed by them. They taught/gave me more information in 3 days than I imagined, and they still offer their support even though the course is over. I definitely will reach out to them if I have questions. After meeting them, anyone would be comfortable and confident in reaching out to them for help, because they would help without hesitation. Before this class, my experience was only as a passenger. I didn't know the difference between throttle and clutch. I didn't think 3 days would be enough to help me become a rider, better passenger, and driver, but Dave and Sherri proved me wrong. With their time management skills, they went through everything the course offered, made time for other helpful tips and advice, and answered ALL our questions. They opened themselves up with personal stories, and even got emotional. They both made the group feel welcomed and respected by creating an environment where no matter your skill level, they will be there to help. My favorite part about is that they pulled each person aside for individual tips, and cheered everyone on when they successfully used those tips. This course should be mandatory for all drivers and riders, but since it's not I am going to encourage all my friends/family to take it anyway with Dave and Sherri. It is worth the time. I also encourage strangers reading this to take the course with them too, you will not regret it. :D read more

So the overall sales team and finance portion is locked on. They're selling bikes by the hundreds every year. I couldn't be more pleased in that aspect considering I've purchased two bikes in the last year from them. However, the maintenance is another story. If you have people pay for a VIP service then people should kind of be treated like a VIP. I'm not talking about special treatment but treatment that was purchased and sold as a form of service that I would be taken care of. So when I drop off a bike for service, it's not held hostage for 3 weeks. When you have the customer have to go out and buy their own parts, promising them that if they do, you'll install once found said part onto bike, and then claim the other part hasn't come in after the customer has already made an appointment is just wrong in my opinion. 9 times out of 10, the people that work the service area are amazing. But this time incorrect information is being given and call backs about parts being in or not being in are not being made. I mean, you even have a person sitting there to do just this and there still not texting or calling back. I know you all can do better. You've been the best for so long that maybe you've forgotten just a little bit how you got there. Customer loyalty. read more

A little bit expensive, but you're paying for the brand (which I don't mind). The real reason why I gave 4 stars is because sometimes they just care about money and forget costumer service. However, it's always my first option. read more

BAIT & SWITCH tactics used by the sales team! I was in the market for a Road Glide and found one advertised for ~18k here. I spoke to Mary in sales and she assured me the bike was available as I was driving over an hour to see and buy the bike. When I arrive I'm shown a completely different bike and told the other one had sold. Upon talking to another customer there to see the same bike he said they had sold it weeks before but it's still on their website and they hooked him into another bike. The first thing the salesman Stretch said was "It's not a bait and switch" to try to cover their sketchy practices then he proceeds to make comments about "being know in the streets but being too grown up for that." That was unnecessary, unprofessional, and a poor representation of Harley Davidson of Riverside. California state law makes it illegal to be untrue or misleading in advertisements for goods and services under California Business and Professions Code § 17500. I'd like ownership of this dealer to reach out to me with information on this situation prior to my reporting of the situation along with my documentation of this experience to the City Prosecutors office in January of 2024. read more

TERRIBLE!!! Buying a brand new Harley was supposed to be an exciting experience for me, but turned out being the worst experience I've ever encountered. Soooo much miscommunication, and " telling me what I want to hear". I went as far as taking the day off of work to pick up the bike that was " ready to go FOR ME" ( after they ran my credit for it ) just to get ghosted and learn that the bike was sold before I got there. I decided to give it another chance after they told me ( the bike is here and ready to go when you get here" just to learn that the bike never even showed up to the location.... How were they this far off ??? I won't mention any names, but this location (Riverside) is unbelievably unprofessional and completely ruined my first time buyers experience. I highly recommend working with a location that is honest, this isn't the one. The sales team is great at talking, but don't believe it. I've already changed locations with a new deposit on a bike and my experience at the new location is a night and day difference. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE ‼. read more

I looked at the website and showed a bike I have been looking for. I reached out via email. Cecilia replied and I explained that I wanted a particular bike. after going back and forth on email, I asked her to verify the bike was in stock and she confirmed it was. she asked if I wanted to set up a " VIP" meeting to cone see it. I was adamant on making sure they had that specific bike. I made a appointment. I found out that they are the same owners as hb harley and had a similar experience with them so I called to talk to her. she ( Cecilia) was at lunch. the person I spoke with, i explained I didn't want to drive over a hour if they didn't have it. I was put on a brief hold and then told they didn't have it. I explained that I had a email from Cecilia telling me they did. I e mailed Cecilia back and told her that it was bullshit. they were going for the old bait and switch. I would have been pissed if I drove there. her reply it was there in the morning. I hate liars and slimey sales reps, and the dealerships that allows this tactic.
