Ok so update... on the parts dept.... Still Waiting for parts. No update. I have to call and ask about it . They tell me we don't know, and we have no ETA.. really. !! I contacted the manufacturer of the parts and they told me they ship parts out every two days to Harley's distributors . So why the heck is it two months now for one part??? You already have my $$. I don't ride street bikes, and am unlikely ever to buy one, but I feel compelled to write about Riverside Harley Davidson and how much I appreciate the staff there because of an unexpected emergency my family experienced. My nephew has been working at Riverside Harley for a few months, and he loves it there. He often told us how good it was to work for them because he felt like part of a family, the "Harley Family." I've been around a long time, and lots of companies talk about being a "family." Like many of you, I've learned how cheap such talk can be. The emergency: Yesterday Gunther was involved in a traffic collision and badly injured his left ankle and leg, requiring surgery that same afternoon. Thankfully, no one else was hurt. Now, anyone who's been in a crash, never mind going to a hospital because of it, has felt the pain, fear, and sense of being shaken inside--no matter how much of a bravado act is put on. Meanwhile, the rest of us, relieved his injuries were treatable, worried about his job with Harley. That same day, to our (Gunther's family) amazement, Harley Riverside sent four members to help. Three of them, manager Mike Gunnell, Dave Schroder, and Mark Smith went directly to the hospital, joining Gunther's dad, grandmother, and mother. The other manager, Hogan, went to the crash site to take care of towing Gunther's bike. Manager Mike Gunnell wound up staying until quite late in the night, until Gunther was out of surgery and back in his room. I've been a paramedic and firefighter for many years, and transported thousands of patients to countless hospitals, and have rarely seen this sort of support by so many people, especially from one's place of work, and this all touched me greatly. It also tells me that when Harley Davidson of Riverside says they're family, they mean it, and frankly, nothing makes a more loyal and happy employee than that. After all, the sense of family is not something you can pay for or stock: It is, or it isn't there. If I should ever decide to buy a Harley, even if I have to drive hours to get there, Harley Davidson Riverside has earned my loyalty. Kudos to you all! You're so very much appreciated. Sincerely Tony read more

I was preapproved online with HD. I got a call from a persistent sales guy. Nice fella. Not pressured but invited me in. I decided to go in and look around. Looked at their website and found a decent priced used bike. The sales guy I worked with was different that the fella I spoke to on the phone. Whatever, no big deal I thought. Long story short, got talked out of the used bike I wanted and was convinced/directed/pushed et. al. into a new stripped down version of what I wanted. Got all the way into finance and was asked if I was excited...I was shocked at my reply....I said no...never once, during the time waiting for him, was I excited about the bike I chose (was strongly influenced to buy) and I left. The sales kid was a bit pushy and tried to hard to say anything and everything to get me to buy a bike. Just an overall uncomfortable experiece. After looking at some of the Yelp reviews, I am glad I chose to not purchase there. read more

Randy was the one who made contact with me from the start he worked with me! he inquired about a bike and was able to lower the price significantly, he kept me company as I was trying to get approved, he drove me to get my co signer signature, he even went as far as following me to my house so that I can drop my car off so that I can ride the bike home! Randy took great care of me from start to finish. As well as the rest of the dealership everyone was so friendly. Highly recommend going to riverside Harley! read more

Excellent customer service, I had the pleasure of working with Anthony on the purchase of my 21 street glide special. Very knowledgeable and patient, I literally spent 2 days at the dealership deciding on what I wanted. He stayed by my side the entire time. I shopped a couple other Harley dealerships in the area and hands down riverside Harley beat them in quality of service and price hands down. Nope! I stopped by for an estimate and was treated with no respect. I routinely have all my vehicles, yes all six, serviced by dealerships. I work in a technical field and know the advantages of having familiar technicians do the job. I stopped in for a simple estimate and got the run around for every question I asked. Even after asking the guy to give me the short answer, I was still treated like a numb skull. For the amount of $ to go through dealerships, I believe customers deserve more appreciation. read more

Had a brilliant buying experience! Had been looking to get onto a Harley for some time, but the only dealer with the bike/options I was looking for was this one - 4 hours away! Got in touch, and was helped by Dimitri... answered all my questions and stayed in touch over the course of the next couple of months, but never being pushy. When we finally made it down to Riverside, Dimitri was unable to assist us and handed us off to Jarad B., who was equally helpful. At this point, we ran into a snag - the specific bike I was looking for hadn't arrived yet. No problem - worked with the guys (Chris, as well), on a deal. They would deliver the bike once it arrived. While waiting, I saw a Road King with the same colour scheme as the one I wanted. One thing led to another, and I ended up buying that!! More bike, for the same price... thanks Dimitri, Jarad, Chris and Juan. First time buying a Harley ... great experience!! read more

Other than the pushy sales people they have at this location, I'm particularly disappointed in one manager for the fast one he tried to pull on me when canceling my extended warranty on a bike that I bought from there, but traded it in at another Harley Dealership. So, I bought a bike at riverside, traded it in at another dealership for a bike that I wanted. I refused to go back to riverside Harley to inquire about a new bike, because their sales people always try to dissuade you and push you into buying a bike that they think you should buy. I didn't want to be hassled nor pushed to buy something I didn't want. Anyway, I bought a new bike from the other Harley dealership and it was easy peasy! Way to go POMONA VALLEY! I went back to Riverside to cancel my extended warranty on my old bike. Spoke to manager "JS" I told him I was canceling my warranty. He said cool, I told him I had a new address though and I wanted to get this check mailed to my new home address. So, I give him my new home address and he writes it down, well so I thought. He then tells me ok we're all done and I should be receiving a check in the mail in about 8-10 weeks. I said ok, but I just want to confirm it's going to be sent to the new address and he told me yes. 8-10 weeks pass by and the check never came to my new house. Instead it went to the previous address I had, even though I made it a point to confirm with JS that it would be sent to my new address. Thank God I still have family that lived at the previous address and told me I received a check from HD Riverside. I was less than thrilled when I heard this news because this check was nearly $1,000. Imagine if family didn't live at my old address? The check would have been in the wind. That's a HUGE F*** up in my opinion. But, I'm not surprised since it's from Riverside Harley. Them dudes are shady. Only thing good there is the bikini girls they hire to wash your bikes on bike night...that's it. read more

Went down here with 10 grand to put down on a bike. Made me feel all welcomed being that they new I was prior military I had already completed a credit application with Harley and was told I was approved and to come down and pick out my bike. After getting down there and being greeted by a friendly staff I had to wait 4 hours while they worked on my deal that I was supposed to already be approved for. I decided to leave, called the following day and was left on hold for 27min before I hung up and called back. My next call went a little better until I was placed on hold and about 3 min later a sales rep asked me who I was holding for again. Finally got a manager on the phone who said he would get to the bottom of my situation and get some answers for me on rather or not I'm approved for the Harley-Davidson Road Glide. After speaking with Management and giving him most of the day I was informed that I can come pick up my new Road Glide Special. I informed him I could not come today as to I'm driving 2 hrs to get there, however I can come tomorrow which was the following day. Well unfortunately he wasn't going to be working that day so I would need to wait until Wednesday. On Wednesday no call from sales team and I just wasn't going to work to give them my earned cash. Nice bikes, nice people but will not get that personal service. High volume sales here with low customer service concerns. Great bike selection I must say wish I could have done business with them. Great group of people, just bad work ethics! read more

Super disappointed! My husband ordered a part a few days short of 6mos. for his older Harley. It's been on back order since the first month. Each time we had to contact Harley regarding the part. Never have we received a courtesy call. The part is over $300.00. Every time we call they always say the same thing. It's on back order for another month. I understand the part is difficult to find. We have done some research. We would just like some communication and for goodness sake a courtesy call, perhaps a letter in the mail? My family has been dealing with this particular Harley for over 10 yrs. Come on customer service! read more

READ ALL THE REVIEWS THAT HAVE TO DO WITH SALES!! This dealership is a complete scam! They should be ashamed of their selves. The only reason why they show up in Yelp with a 3.5-star rating is because of their riding classes. Their sales are absolutely terrible. I saw a few bikes online that I was interested in looking in. So, I called first to be sure they were available, and they were. I live in Oxnard so traveling out there was a long journey but as I said there were a few bikes that I really wanted. Got there around 2:30 after making an appointment only to be told I had to go to a warehouse to see them. Not a problem, got the entire family back in the car and drove a couple miles down the road. Once we got to the warehouse the guy that was supposed to let us in wasn't even there. We waited and waited until we finally suggested to our sales guy to go back to the dealership to see if he could get the key. So, he did and was back and we finally got in. The original bike I was going to get looked AMAZING online in the pictures and when we walked up to it, the bike was completely thrashed. Scratches, dents, missing taillights that were busted off, the headlight was barely hanging on there. I was in shock considering the pictures looked like the bike was brand new. I found that odd, but the sales guy said it was test drove "just the other day when a customer laid down the bike". I should have realized this was a red flag but since I had a few other bikes that I wanted to look at I let that one go. I found the other bike I was interested in. Got on it, it was perfect. I knew that was the bike I wanted. Drove back to the dealership started the paperwork and was told by the Assistant Sales Manager Ezra that he must show me numbers on the bike I want and numbers on a new bike because "that is how Harley does things". This wasn't my first experience with Harley but whatever I knew I didn't want new I wanted that used bike, but I let him go with it. He came back with insane numbers and truly focused on the new purchase price. Said Harley has all these incentives right now that I shouldn't pass up. They did sound good, so I asked him if he had a bike that I could look at that was the same model and engine size that I was looking for. His answer was NO. Why in the world would I want to get a new bike for more money if you don't even have the model I want? I told him never mind I wanted the used bike STILL. He left and then came another guy, Chris. He also talked to me about getting a new bike. I explained they didn't have anything on the lot. He told me they could upgrade my engine to meet my needs. WHY? After thinking about it I told Chris, I want the used bike and let's look at numbers. 6:15 rolls around. Myself and my family had been sitting alone waiting for them. I finally got up and had the receptionist page my sales guy. The Sales Manager Richard came up to me and asked if he could help. I explained to him that I was really frustrated at that point and we were about to leave because we haven't seen any numbers and it didn't seem like they wanted to sale me the bike I wanted. He asked for my name and then told me he did my numbers. He told me that they were at the warehouse getting a bike and will be back. He talked about what my final numbers looked like and how it was exactly what I wanted. All sounded perfect and I walked away waiting for them to bring my bike. Finally, when I saw my sales guy, he waved for me to come outside. I went out there and I saw a bike sitting there, same year, same look but something was so off. My sales guy stood there silent. I knew this wasn't the bike I wanted, it had crash bars on it dents and scratches. So, I looked over at him and said, "What is it that I am looking at exactly this isn't my bike". He stumbled with his words and told me that that bike was a better bike then what I was looking at and it would be a better purchase. At that point I was done. It was after 6:30pm and there was no way I was going to give them a sale. I still can't wrap my brain around why they WOULD NOT sale the bike I wanted. Credit is over the top, I had a big down payment. The only thing I can think of is that they used that bike to lure people into the dealership only to sale them something they didn't want in the first place. HUGE lesson for me. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone I know. 1 day later I dealt with Laidlaw's Harley Davidson and I was in and out of the dealership with a brand new bike in less than an hour. The staff there was amazing! Do not go to Riverside Harley. Go else where. read more

Was looking for a pre-owned 1200 all over socal. Looked at HB, Orange County, Laidlaw. All of them nice dealerships, but used 1200s are hard to come by right now I guess. But I found a used 2021 iron 1200 with 800 miles for $9500 pop up in Riverside. I called them up, spoke to Mary she quickly sent me some photos (thanks Mary!). I got there the next day and the bike was still there. Jared was the man! He was super helpful, talked me through the bike and even delivered it personally that night. Great experience overall and now I own the unicorn "Managers Special" that everyone says is a "bait and switch". You just gotta be fast :) Thanks again to Jared for all the help! I had originally booked an appointment for 10 AM through open road finance and an employee named Russ. Unfortunately the numbers didn't match what I was told, and also ended up with a different sales person entirely and a different deal which was a bit annoying. I have been to this dealership twice now and both times I have left without purchasing a motorcycle. The first time was after discussing payment/ money down with the sales person and coming to an agreement before it jumping up $300.00 in the finance department. The second time was when I picked out the new 2024 road glide and had to wait 3hrs for the finance department to get my approval (which was already done online the day prior). After sitting around for what felt like forever, I told the sales person I was leaving because I did not want to sit around all day on a Saturday afternoon. I made it outside before I was stopped by the sales manager who told me he was going to contact the bank personally. So I gave them another 30 mins before I again left and drove away. I was called 10 minutes later by the sales manager who had a full temper tantrum for me refusing to turn around and go back to the dealership to buy an over priced motorcycle after spending hours there prior. When I told him I was heading home and would have to follow up with him another day he hung up on me. It shows the unprofessional behavior they tried to hid in person. I was completely shocked by this childish behavior and even more due to them saying they support veterans and them turning around treating a disabled veteran this way. If you have any self respect and want to purchase a Harley Davidson, go to another dealership. Nothing is worse than feeling you are being ripped off by a business. read more

I just completed the Learn to Ride Academy through this Harley Davidson Dealer. Jim Bridges was the contact and made signing up very easy and smoothly. He genuinely cares about making sure people learn to ride safely. John Powell and Paul Friedt were the coaches and I can't tell you enough how awesome they were! I have never ridden a motorcycle and in just two days on the range, I not only managed to get the basics down, I scored a perfect evaluation! They were both very clear, calm, and helpful. I got positive and negative feedback from both of them and I was able to make the corrections needed to pass the evaluations. The best part of their teaching/coaching is that they truly love it and want each student to be successful and safe. If you or anyone you know needs to learn to ride a motorcycle, I would HIGHLY recommend taking this course through Riverside Harley Davidson. You will NOT be disappointed. If you are a first responder or military veteran, you can take the class for free. A great many thanks to Jim, John, and Paul for all you do and continue to do! My fiancé and I decided to ride in to riverside Harley for a routine stop in. Didn't think anything of it, but we saw they had an event going on when we pulled in. Burgers, hot dogs, and a gift card raffle. Getting off our bikes I was greeted by a long time friend Ricky(Laces). I didn't even know he was working there yet but it was so nice to see him and I introduced him to my fiancé. She had a thought of wanting to trade in her bike, and he was kind enough to show us their wide selection of rides. He wasn't pushy at all, and heard her out with every question she had. After just a few bikes shown, we were able to trade in her bike that she wasn't so stoked on and rode out on a 2020 streetbob. First off I want to say "thank you" to these men for their service to our country and community. Secondly, I found them to be extremely knowledgeable with a tremendous amount of experience. They were very patient teaching new riders. They kept the experience non-stressful. I always felt engage even during the boring academic test preparation portion. I had been looking for a motorcycle for several months and had my mind made up on a preowned indian that riverside harley had in stock. After talking with Bryan I had agreed to come back at a later time because the bike was off the lot before i could make it there. A month later I was back about an 883 preowned Harley and after speaking with Victor right before they closed decided to come back the next day. I was helped by Bryan again who was more than helpful and gave me the run down on the difference in services and deals that had if I decided to get a brand new 883 instead of the preowned. After speaking with Phil and Bryan for several hours trying to make up my mind Bryan and Phil got me the pre owned bike within the price range i wanted and with the payments I wanted. They went above and beyond to make sure I was walking out a Harley Owner that was more than happy with my purchase. Bryan got me acquainted with the store and even brought me literature on the Motorcycle Class and DMV handbook. He even went as far as to say he would make sure my bike got delivered to me when I was home if I couldnt pick it up. I will NOT purchase my bike here, due to the lack of professionalism and respect from the associated sales manager. I came in to get a ball park idea of what I needed (finically) to come back and leave with a bike. As a first time buyer with minimum information on these beauties, I obviously needed help. When I had two associates assisting me I thought for sure I was going to have what I needed. When I got what I needed to go home and get my ducks in the role so I can come back and get my dream bike, the sales manager seemed very upset I didn't leave with the bike right there and then. He turned his customer service upside down. He made me and my wife feel completely uncomfortable and to top this off he was mentioning how we weren't smart and this and that in front of my son. I'm not saying don't shop here but don't waste your time with a sales manager who seems pressured to make a sale by his management team or corporate. I'm still looking to buy a bike, but I guess I'll make the drive to the Orange County area. It's impossible to receive any worse experience then what I didn't here. read more
