Bike was promised to be ready first thing in the morning...guess what - not ready! Had several issues with Service Department prior to this appointment (damaged/scratches on gas tank, gap on clutch side housing, slice on tire, wrong turn signals installed, loose fitment of stock seat). No 5 Star service here. BUT the tow trailer driver that picked up my bike was very friendly, helpful and gave great insight on HD - thanks Jeffery. ...ok i called Jaime (5-12-17) again...no return call! ...went in for their "Appraisal" promotion where they give you $1250 above trade-in value. I have a 2016 Roadster with only 248 miles and over $2000 in HD and aftermarket accessories. Came back with an appraisal of $6990. Thats insult! And so is your promotion. Losing my business. This used to be the best place to take your bike for service. We took ours in over two weeks ago to get an oil leak fixed, a couple lights and then they told us the brakes needed to be done. Two Fridays ago we went in to pick up the bike when they said it would be ready. When we got there, they said just the brakes needed to be done and it would be ready the next day. NOPE. We called on Sunday. The assigned tech wouldn't even get to it until Tuesday, because he is off Sunday and Monday. Wednesday, called REPEATEDLY. Finally got a manager. Now we are told clips for fixing oil leak are out of stock and they can get from Huntington Beach and bike will be done Friday, Saturday at the latest. Called Friday afternoon to make sure we can pick up bike. NOPE. Huntington didn't have the part so now they can get after-market part if we consent, and it will be done to pick up yesterday. We didn't believe them and rightly so. Called today. STILL NOT DONE! Same BS excuse about tech being out today and tomorrow. I told the girl we want the bike done TODAY by another tech or a huge discount for the lack of communication, customer service and inconvenience. Not once has anyone called us about the bike, we have had to do all of the work on that, only to be misled and lied to. We used to love this place. Their service has gone completely downhill. We will go to Loma Linda/Redlands next time where our business will probably be more appreciated. read more

I went in looking for my first motorcycle to buy here. I instantly got greeted by a very helpful and professional worker named Juan. At first I wanted a street 500 but with the help of Juan I soon came to realize I wanted the iron 883! He told me to get on the bike to see how it feels and I fell in love with it in that moment I turned it on! He really helped me find what I wasn't even looking for! The iron 883 just felt more of my style and it was in my price range if it wasn't for him I would have gotten a street 500 that I would later find out wasn't for me. Very kind staff here they really make you feel at home!! Definitely recommend getting a Harley from here! I also took the MSF course which helped me tons on improving my riding skills and teaching me some new skills. really great instructors their couching was amazing never felt like I wasn't learning anything in their class. It was time to sell my 2011 Heritage and purchase my new Street Glide. My wife and I checked the pricing at another dealership and were treated decently, but we wanted to compare prices around the area. We went to Riverside Harley Davidson and were immediately greeted by Deb Causey; she worked in the merchandising area. She listened to what we wanted and took the time to make us feel welcome at the dealership. Deb was a great segway to our positive experience at Riverside Harley Davidson. Chances are we would have looked at price tags and moved on to the next dealership on our list. Deb introduced us to Tim B. Tim spent a tremendous amount of time with us as we decided between a Road Glide or a Street Glide. We took the Road Glide for a test ride and it was impressive! I had previously tested the Street Glide and really liked it. Tim was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Once we decided on the Street Glide we were introduced to a manager; Kevin. Kevin was also extremely knowledgeable and professional. He never used high pressure tactics and closed the deal efficiently. Once the deal was sealed we met with Big Lou (I think they was his name) in the Parts Department and DMC in the Repair Department. They both provided us with information about our purchase. Then there was Anna in the Finance Department. Completing all the paperwork was a breeze thanks to her fantastic attitude and knowledge about the forms we had to fill out! These guys are a joke. They got me pre approved over the phone on a street glide. As I walk in they are congratulating me and having me to pick out a free shirt. From there we go to the parts dept to get a catalog. From there we go to service where they try and sell my an extended warranty. This whole time I haven't even see the bike I've "purchased" nor have I seen a single number figure for the bike. They basically try and make you feel obligated to buy a bike you haven't s even seen nor have any idea of the price of the bike so that you walk into the finance dept feeing obligated. The entire time I was calling and texting the sales guy asking him where's the bike and what's the price to which he responded " the finance sept has all that info, I'm a fry guy and they don't tell me anything". WHAT? What the hell does that even mean? Long story short after going into the finance sept office I laughed at the price and walked out. They weren't even willing to negotiate a single penny from their regular price. I can understand if it was on sale but it was their msrp which no one pays ever. read more

Spoke with Mary on the phone me wanting to sell my 2012 Street Glide. Mary gave me an estimate of 9500-12000 to sell. We drive down and they have the nerve to offer 7,000 and then 8,500... we would not have driven 20 miles to get lowballed. The bike has extras and is clean except for one little scratch. They continue to say they need used bikes, but they are not fair. KBB estimate is 9,300-14,000. We we're asking $12 and the went down to $9500. Still not willing to make a deal. I've been going to riverside Harley for a long time now they have always been helpful and knowledgeable but yesterday while I was riding one of the screws on my ghost bandit Simpson helmet that holds on my visor fell out and I went in to the apparel area where they sell the helmets where they check but the shop did not have any in but brenna and keeley went above and beyond and somehow managed to get me what I needed to repair my helmet on the spot as well as giving me the proper tools to get the repair done on the spot so I could get back on my ride .. they were seriously life savors the last thing I would of wanted is for it to break off... thank you girls sooo much read more

I want to make a special thank you to Christian Morales, Seth Bob and Victor sales manager. I bought my 2022 Road Glide Special here and added $7000 in accessories. I am very pleased with this staff. They make coming to the dealership fun and like family. I spent time there today just talking about a recent 2200 mile run. I do want to say. Christain is one funny cat. His team ran to Phoenix for bike week. A one day run. He rode there to then put his bike in the back of Victor's truck and rode home in same. That alone built a better relationship due to all the crap throwing at him. He took it like a champ!! I had issues with the accessories install. But I have to be fair. Ray and Manny took care of it and went over and beyond to make it right. Manny owes me a jacket...lol But the relationship is what it's all about. Manny saw me here and walked over to see all was well and glad to see me. Handshakes mean a lot to me. Our word is all we own. And they kept theirs. I am greeted every time I walk in. My husband and I were very good customers that came often to harley riverside. However, I've had several nasty encounters that have made my decision to never return. First, after taking my harley course, which I would highly suggest, I wanted to purchase a bike, especially since my husband had just gotten one from there. So I went shopping around to then have a horrible encounter with the sales manager who at one point yelled at me on a phone call telling me I needed to trust him because clearly I don't trust people and it will ruin my opportunity to get myself a harley there. Second, I took my bike that I purchased elsewhere to the service department to get looked at and a tune up. They told me it would be there ONE day. I called at the end of the day to be told it would be ready the following day in the morning. I called several times to just be pushed on to the next person finally telling me again that it would be ready that evening. That evening I called and I found out my bike hadn't even been touched! The manager I spoke to said he would get it in to a different mechanic and it would be done the following morning. My bike wasn't ready until the evening of the 3rd day. Lastly, I was told the day of my service I needed new tires. The quote for tires thru harley was outrageous and the service guy told me to purchase them elsewhere and bring them back to be put on. I did so just to be told it was going to take 3 hours and over $400 to put on the tires I bought elsewhere. They then told me if I had purchased the tires thru them, it would have only cost $59. The service guy was extremely rude raising his voice at me in front of other service members and clients. Embarrassing to say the least, and extremely unprofessional!!! I will NEVER return to harley riverside and I suggest you don't go there either!! read more

I took the California Motorcyclist Training Program/Harley-Davidson Riding Academy New Rider Course, with my wife. We ride a 15 Electra Glide Classic and I've been an M1 holder for many years, with 40 years riding experience, however, my wife had Zero street or two wheel experience and wanted to get her license. So, being the good husband, I took the course with her, not expecting to learn much. Man-o-man was I presently surprised!! From signing up with Jim, to the instructors Brian Habegger and Paul Friedt, it was nothing short of amazing. The professionalism, dedication and knowledge of these three individuals was unchallenged. I went in with an open mind, but with low expectations and I walked out with a new found appreciation for the sport that I've been participating in for over four decades. I learned new things, was reminded of things I forgot and hopefully did away with a few "bad habits" I had acquired over the years. I came away from this course a better and safer rider, able to build my confidence levels and know that I have the skill set to enhance my overall experience while riding. My wife can me away with the skills, knowledge and ability to walk into the DMV and take her written test, passing it with flying colors! When we began, she just wanted to be a licensed passenger, after this course, looks like I'll be buying a new Harley.....for her!! I cannot say enough good about this course. If you are a beginner or an old school biker like myself, TAKE THIS COURSE! (: Most importantly they taught me how to be safe while riding! I took the 2 day course (Fri & Sat) both days we're spent half in the class room and half on the course! Drove all the way up fron San diego and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. My fit specialist, Mike Medrano, was awesome during the entire process. I've worked in customer service almost my entire life, if this was my team, specifically Mike, I'd be very proud! Even about a month after my purchase. To preface this, I do all my own work on my bike so I have higher expectations than most. That being said, I brought my bike in to have my front suspension checked for an unusual bounce I was feeling so I wanted to rule out my dampers in the forks. They told me my front tire was mounted backwards (they believed that was the problem) so I asked them to turn it around, they wouldnt because they cant warranty it so fine I said dont warranty it, still wouldnt do it. I had them change the fluids while I had it there. I went to pick it up and my bill was over 700 bucks so I went through it with them and they were charging me for a new front tire. I had them remove that and my bill was over 500 bucks still for my oil change and a horrible wash that left my bike worse than when I dropped it off. BTW, it took me 15 minutes to turn my front wheel around once I got home, the tire was brand new I just had it mounted a few months prior and didnt realize the tread design was backwards. So to sum it up, I fixed the fork adjustments and turned my front wheel around myself and paid 500 bucks for an oil change and a bad wash. Not that they dont have good service there, they do, this particular case was disappointing read more

Dash our sales person was just awesome, but also was the rest of the staff. Steve in Service when out of his way to help us out and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. This has nothing to do with the physical location Trying to get ahold of these people, near to impossible....I purchased a CVO from them almost a year ago, and wrote a flattering review, my only problem was trying to get ahold of them by phone, once in the store, everything perfect. So fast forward to now and I wanted to purchase something else and deal with the same person I dealt with when I bought the bike, after several phone calls, leaving messages and waiting for him to contact me, I felt like I was being treated like a bill collector, and everyone tries to avoid them, but I was a customer who wanted to purchase something. After finally getting ahold of one of the managers, and told him of my plight, he assured me that the person would call me back, in fact the next morning, the manager called me back and said that the person would call me back in the afternoon. Well guess what, never happened. So Riverside Harley Davidson, learn about customer service from the start and follow thru, your phone etiquette is the worst I have ever dealt with.
