I just finished the riding academy course two days ago, I've to say that it was they most enjoyable fun time, I've learned a lot, the instructors were so knowledgeable and experienced yet friendly, so nice, understanding and patient. They were respectful for each one in the class and supportive. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who's thinking about getting their license or buy a bike, the have one of the best crew to help. My instructors were: Mr Brian Habegger & Mrs Sherri Crosson Jarad Butain was the one who was helping me to determine which bike Should I think about. read more

I was in the Harley Davidson Riding Academy this past weekend and let me just start off by saying that I recommend 10/10 to anyone. Experienced or not this course was such a good time. So informative. So fun. I got my license the very next day! John and Adrienne were amazing instructors. They were both so patient and very positive. My favorite part about them is that they give positive reinforcement. They clap for you and tell you how good you're doing throughout the whole course, which gave me so much confidence. Brian and Scott also were very helpful throughout the whole process making sure I was left with no questions. I want to thank you all for everything. Please take this course if you're considering it. 9 1/2 weeks waiting. Bike spent more time idle than being worked on. Only time it got attention was when I called and said what's up. I understand waiting for parts but 9.5 weeks??? Lost $600 because I missed a planned ride cuz they still had my bike. Repairs seemed like they were done backwards. Fuel pump replaced before fuel filter? And at completely separate times? Charged for an unnecessary repair cus they didn't have the tool to clean it and then made to feel like they were doing mean favor by discounting that amount. Will NEVER be back!!! Sad that my Pomona location closed and made decision to come to those one. It's all about the$$$ and nothing about the customer!!! read more

Dropped my bike of on the morning of June 25th around 11:00am. Told them what I needed looked at and done. I was asked how soon I wanted it back, I said as long as I get it back by the weekend. I called the next day about 2:00 to ask a status and was told it had just gotten to a technician. I asked for a call back for an update and received none. I called back again at 6:30 knowing they closed at 7:00pm. I was again told the same thing, with no further information offered or even attempted to obtain. So 17 hours at the service center without so much as an update to say we're running behind. In fact no call at all. Very poor customer service for the premium prices they charge for service. I don't think me or any of my friends will be going back. read more

This is the email I sent to Kristina on May 10, 2023. I was given her email by the front desk. I am tired of waiting for a response and getting the run around. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A MOTORCYCLE NOR HAVING YOUR MOTORCYCLE SERVICED FROM RIVERSIDE HARLEY DAVIDSON. Good morning, My name is Da Ackamin Gonzales I bought my 2020 river rock grey Road Glide Special from Riverside Harley in August of 2020. This vehicle is my main mode of transportation to and from work putting more than 500 miles a week. In February 2022 I was involved in a car accident that destroyed my left saddlebag. I had both saddlebags replaced with the standard length. The replacements eventually came in June 2022. However the right saddle bag was ordered under the wrong color(red). I then had to wait till September 2022 to receive the repainted right hand saddlebag. The paint job was sloppy and the previous color(red) was showing through. I was told Riverside Harley would get it repainted when I was available to drop it off. In November 2022 I was involved in another car accident that damaged my right hand side saddle bag. Once again I was informed the wrong color was ordered. So again the saddle bag was sent off for repaint. On May 5 2022 I dropped off my bike at Riverside Harley to finally have the saddlebag replaced. Only to pick it up and find out they replaced the left hand side saddle bag not the right hand side that was damaged during the wreck. These multiple experiences listed here, not to mention numerous others, I've had with Riverside Harley Davidson is beyond ridiculous and outrageous. No one should be forced to wait this staggering amount of time to 1: have parts come in 2: have parts repainted due to wrong parts being ordered and 3: have the correct parts ordered to begin with. read more

I have been a long time rider and bike owner. This makes number 6. This was my first used bike so not being a mechanic I was a little concerned about getting it. I live in NorCal but I just couldn't get any of the NorCal dealers I contacted engaged in negotiations. I found the exact bike I wanted at Riverside and ended up flying down to Ontario. Tim from sales picked me up and took me back to the dealership. He was professional and courteous the whole time and kept me informed every step of the way. Everyone and I mean everyone at the dealership was wonderful and my only regret is that I don't live closer to Riverside. Good people and great service! Thanks Riverside HD read more

Before I start my review, I challenge you to just scroll to see the reviews and you'll see both sides of the spectrum with just a quick glance, coincidence? This dealer is nothing, but a SCAM! Want another challenge, make a few quick visits to nearby dealers and even further out of the area and just tell them, "I come from Riverside Harley" and note their reactions. This dealer gives other honest dealerships a bad name (and that's saying a lot). When your reputation precedes you like that it's a sure sign to stay away. First and foremost, their salesmen and sales managers are NEVER on the same page. They'll have you get excited over a reasonable price then sales manager steps in and now it's a game of good cop and bad cop re-negotiating a deal. Take this review for what it's worth but a true honest business doesn't have reviews fixed at either 1 star or 5 stars - classic BS. In my experience I made a call-in regard to a bike they posted online and surely enough it just "sold" okay I'm sure realistically that can happen. Then you make an appointment and walk in only to hear about, "We're the #1 dealer, this and that, most sales, blah blah blah" They're nothing but fast talkers looking to hook you in. When you sit down with finance there's a tremendous feeling of pressure (If you've experience this just walk away not a good sign) then, you realize the numbers don't add up, you walk in buying what you thought was a $12k bike give or take a few thousand for taxes, titles fees etc..., and now you're looking at nearly $30k after it's all done and paid for? One more thing, their VIP service package is nothing that lives up the name, you'll bring in your bike for service only to get the run around with times, quality, and service. You call back and of course no one answers. This is not the service of VIP nor any level of service for that matter. Bad experience, Bad Service (talking about sales managers here) and Bad reputation. Save yourself a trip, money and buyer's remorse, drive a few miles to another dealer where you'll feel that much more comfortable about a big purchase. read more

I read the guys review today about how he had a bad experience trying to buy a bike from Riverside Harley. I had a terrible experience that I will share to whoever want to buy a bike from those guys. I tried to buy a new Streetglide from Riverside, but there sales force was terrible, they had me waiting in the lobby for the longest time just to hear from someone about accepting my offer. I got so fed up with the long wait for a response that I got on the phone with Los Angels Harley of Fullerton and asked if they had the same bike with the same color and they did. I told the guy on the phone my price that I was willing to pay and a few minutes later he said come down to Fullerton, so I immediately left Riverside and went Fullerton. About 30 minutes later when I got to Fullerton Harley, I was greeted with a handshake. I was shown the bike and the paper work was waiting in the office to sign. While I was filling out the sales forms in Fullerton for my new bike, the guy from riverside called me and said he could now make the deal but for $500.00 more than my best offer and he wanted to know where I was. I told him that I got tired of waiting around his lobby and I that I was in Fullerton buying a bike for $500.00 less than the he could give it to me for. What was so amazing is that it took that guy about 1 hour to figure out that I had already left his store. Needless to say I will never buy a bike from Harley of Riverside. read more

They have a huge selection of new and used bikes. I will give them that. But it's very disappointing when the new bikes have an almost $9k markup on their price tag. And what's even worse is none of their used bikes have price tags or even any info tags. How are you supposed to compare and figure out what you can afford? In my opinion it's just a horrible sales tactic and it makes me uncomfortable. I don't feel like I can trust someone who does business that way. Why can't you be upfront and honest with your customers? read more

I went into Harley Davidson Riverside as a new first time rider wanting to purchase a bike, everyone there was friendly, insightful to any questions or concerns I had and made me feel comfortable despite not having much knowledge about owning/operating a bike. I also seen a lot of experienced riders there upgrading their bikes and meeting up. I purchased a new motorcycle last year from this dealer. That went just fine. Their parts dept however is horrible! First I had some lights ordered. Well when I finally got them 7 months later (that wasn't their fault). Being busy at this point it took a couple of months before I had the time to install them. Well, they ordered me the WRONG ones! Called them to fix the problem and they told me too bad. I also ordered new handlebars. Same problem. They ordered the wrong ones I asked for! Similar, but not what I wanted! My only fault was I didn't have the time to install everything when I finally got my parts. But since it was over 30 days they told me too damn bad!! Don't go to this dealer for parts! Go to Quaid or Laidlaws! Even Deathvalley Harley in Victorville!! but not this one!! VERY poor customer service in fixing a problem they did!!!! I've reached out to them in other forms and haven't gotten a response. Once they get your money, their smile ends there. I'd love for someone to reach out to me to fix this problem since I'm out close to $800 in parts! read more

I bought my first 2020 sportster yesterday with the help of my sales rep Jerad and the rest of the stores staff. I had no intention on buying anything as this was my first Harley store I went into and my friend and I were extremely hungover lol (thank you Andrea for all the waters!) Jerad put me on a couple different bikes and made sure I felt comfortable the whole experience even going out of his way to personally pick up and buy dinner as I was waiting for my turn with the finance department. Jerad and Chris both worked out a price that I felt comfortable with as well as including a handle bar swap and a free riders course. I really appreciate all the help and I feel very welcomed at this Riverside Location, Thank you again Jerad, Chris, and the rest of the staff read more

Made an internet inquiry about two Road King Specials I saw on line. Cecilia called and thanked me for my inquiry on the Electra Glide. I advised her of the specific bikes I saw on their website and was inquiring about. I told her I was there during the week and didn't see the bikes on the floor. She stated they had many bikes and I may have missed them. I asked if they had them there and she stated she could "attain" them. I asked if she actually had them and she repeated she could "attain" them. I called the following morning and asked if she had the bikes there. She said yes. I reminded her that I wanted to look at the 2021 and 2022 Road King Specials that were green. She asked if they had to be that specific color. I said yes and asked, "are you sure you have them there because I am driving an hour to see these bikes" she said yes she had them. When I arrived, a salesman asked if he could help. I showed him the bikes I wanted to look at, on my phone on their website. He told me they don't have either of the bikes. He stated something about internet not being updated. He listen to me cuss up a storm and was cool about it. I apologized for cussing up and told him it wasn't his fault, and he understood. Needless to say, I left pretty mad. $35 in diesel, and they confirmed they had the bikes prior to me heading out. Clearly it was bull sh1t to get me in to tell me they just sold the bikes and show me other bikes. Needless to say, I went to Quaid Loma Linda Harley and bought a different bike. A more expensive bike. Riverside could have been honest from the get go and I would have bought my second Harley from the same place I bought my first Harley. Just shady sh1t to get you in. Two days later Cecilia called again and asked how it went when I came down to look at the bikes. Unbelievable. And the damn bikes are still on their website as available. read more

If you are in the market to sell your bike to them, don't! They will undercut you severely. They wanted to give $12K for a 2018 Breakout 114 clean title, never down. They wanted to know how much I owed before they would give me a their quote and want me to pay them and undercut me. And from all the over reviews on over charging and service, I would defiantly stay away from this business'. They don't care about their customers nor the veteran community. read more

I was hesitant on doing this review because the salesman who helped us was amazing. Were it not for him we would've walked away immediately (probably should have) because the other salespeople are not good. Especially a guy named Philip, he tried stealing us from his coworker but I won't go too into that. The reason I give 1 star is the following. The bikes don't have prices until they go and check their vin. Even then I noticed they try to avoid the price of the bike until they literally have to disclose it. We gave a trade-in but it almost seemed like we didn't with how much it turned out to be. The interest rate was over 7% (we have over 700 credit score) and the term was 72 months. They asked what we wanted to pay, and when the "head" of that place came he kept saying "Oh well it's just $40 more a month. If you can't afford that idk what to tell you". He was condescending as hell. Why ask what we can pay if that's your stand on it? A lot of things happened to make me never want to come here or recommend people. They have a no cool off period, meaning you can't change your mind about the purchase and I can see why. They totally screw you and once you realize you can't take it back. OH! Also, they make you buy full coverage insurance and it has to be with the insurance place they say. I'm pretty sure it's illegal to force us into their buddies insurance but then again they don't all seem very ethical. So yes we had to pay upfront $350 for insurance and if we didn't he couldn't take his bike home. When we asked if we can choose our own insurance they said no, it HAD to be their insurance choice. Hmm. And to top it off we got a call saying they had to redo the contract so we had to come in immediately. Then they called and said they'll try to fix it, then never called again. This place is a mess. Safe to say we're not happy at all with our purchase, highly highly don't recommend this place. Save some money and time elsewhere. read more

It's just business and businesses get reviewed..but this place felt as full of scam artists by the end! *This is my experience, everyone has their own. Before going to the shop, I did some research to see if the motorcycle I was looking into, they had it in the inventory. When I called to make sure before making 40 mins drive, the rep (Haley) tells me their website hadn't been refreshed since before Christmas 2019 (2 months ago) and most of them have been sold. Then they don't stop calling you and emailing you for the same thing they don't have in stock. Before going, I made sure that the financing and trade-in was available for the bike I wanted to buy. Finally, when I went to buy the bike, they tell me it's CASH ONLY. I don't know anyone who can pay $7k+ for a motorcycle at a time. She could have told me that on the phone 2 hours ago when we talked...another fail. When it came to trade-in value, they don't know what they are doing. It takes them 1+ hr to look for the value of my current motorcycle. Then, they give you 70% lower then KBB. This was embarrassing to be there. Left soon as Possible. Sales person could've make me buy a Harley if the passion was there to sell but their commitment to value the customer is below 0. read more

I participated in the motorcycle riding academy this week. I have never been on a motorcycle. I want to give a big thanks to my instructors Ian, Luis and Brian. Riverside Harley is lucky to have these three on their team. They are great instructors. I'm 44 years old and could pass the written and riding test. Once again I've never been on a motorcycle. The training is friendly for all. There were seven students and two of which were women. I recommend anyone to try the course as long as you can ride a bicycle. During my time there I was never pushed to make a purchase. I'm so glad I did it.
