Absolute trash. Yeah they wash your bike for free, and even give you a shitty hot dog, but so what!?. Their sales department is a total joke. Sadly, they sucker so many poor sheep into buying their bikes. You hear this dealership advertise all kinds of crap on the radio, which is really a scam to get you to come in and try to rip you off. Anyways, one morning, I had a hair up my ass and said "I'm gonna go in to Riverside Harley, and get me a pre-owned Street Glide". Prior to going in, I did my research and saw what the market was for a pre-owned 2017 HD Street Glide, which they usually run around 17-18k. I show up to this place, and I see all pre-owned bikes outside with no freaking price listed for them. First red flag. I get a sales man to come out, he got the stock number, goes inside (took forever to get back to me)..finally he comes out and hits me with, "We're asking 22k for this bike"... second red flag. I pretty much did a B line and on my way to my car, he approaches me and says "No pressure man!" I told him, "believe me, I'm not pressured at all, I'm the one holding the checkbook, and I'm also not buying a bike that's marked up the wazoo". The dude didn't like what I said, but meh, I can careless. Anyways, save yourself a trip, and take the extra miles to another dealership where they give you the prices upfront. read more

I realized that I made my mistake to buy XL883. Fernando and Philip are friendly and patience with me being deaf. They wrote on papers and used text for communication. I asked Fernando does the bike have fuel level and 6 speed. He said yes. I signed the paperwork. A day later, I found 5 speed and it does have fuel level. I believe Philip does not want to write specific amounts example MRSP, interested rate, subtotal amount etc. I told friends don't buy any bikes from HD Riverside cuz they use Markup. I went to see a Specific bike, I had made an appointment as they only show bikes with one they told me. Dimitri Internet sales says the bike is available and waiting for you to check out. I told him I am on my way from Huntington Beach and it would be about 50 minutes. I arrived and met with him, he handed me off to a sales person who was really cool. We looked at the bike and it had a few things I wanted to make sure they would fix. We went in did all the paper work and got the final numbers and the sales manger comes over (David) talks to me and says ok let me get this take. Care of I told him I would pay for the bike today with cash. He comes back after agreeing we negotiated and came to a price and made the deal, and tells me the bike just sold. I asked him why because we just made a deal on the bike and I'm gonna pay for it today that was the whole point of making an appointment and reserving the bike in time to make the deal. David tells me that there is no reserving a bike and it's first come first serve. I asked him why do they insist on having appointments for a specific bike and a specific time. He says that's for convenience and we don't know if you're gonna show up or not. I explain to him that I am obviously standing in front of him obviously going over the numbers and negotiating the price and tell him I will pay for it today. As a customer being told to make an appointment to show up to see that specific bike work the numbers come to an agreement and the customer telling them I'm gonna pay for it today is to me a deal. I am sure is what happened is that they had a customer who is going to finance it so they can make more money on the backend. Otherwise why would they not close the deal that they had made with me after the negotiation after the agreement after he goes back to the desk to put the deal together? He tells me it wasn't intentional that it just happened, I don't know how that's not intentional if you have a deal closing and then you take another deal because there's financing money is involved, don't be fooled these people make money on the front end and the backend. Needless to say the sales guy I was working with was shaking his head in disgust, I walked over to him I shook his hand I said thank you very much for his time and he said I am sorry. I asked David for the General Manager name and he told me it was Glen Espinosa. I don't understand how a company like Riverside Harley Davidson has so many reviews on their customer service and this was the first time I've ever been there first time dealing with them and this is how they treat somebody who's going to pay for the bike and enjoy it. Needless to say I will never do business with Riverside Harley Davidson or it's sister store Huntington Beach Harley Davidson. They're back at it again. I wrote a review a little over a month ago. I decided to try and give them another chance. I see a bike again on their website , I called to verify if it was available. I was told by a salesman yes it is. I then say I'll be down first thing in the morning since it was almost 5pm. I then tell him I called because I had an issue last time with someone saying a particular bike was there and when I got there it had been sold the day or days prior. Not 30 seconds goes by from when he told me it was available that he then says it was just sold. Wait what you just told me 30 seconds ago it was available. SMH. I did the learn to ride course recently. Amazing how they can put a dozen inexperienced or novice riders on Harleys and in 2 days get us all to pass the course. The instructors Paul and Dave were excellent. Kudos to Riverside Harley-Davidson for running this course on a regular basis, not all dealerships do. I'd highly recommend this for anyone thinking of motorcycling for the first time or after a long layoff. It was a long weekend but rewarding and fun! read more

STAY AWAY, they think just because they are the biggest dealer they can afford to lose customers, DIMITRI made me drive an hr in a half in traffic after I had told him over the phone where I wanted to be I filled out an online credit app and he said based on everything we can 100% get you where you need to be I have the bike just come on down. Once I get there EZRA sits down puts these bullshit $500 a month payments trying to put me together saying oh I have to do this. They are liars do not finance or buy a bike from them if you do bring your own financing they want to charge 12% for tier 1 credit. If you want to lose money and get lied too this is the place to go. They wanted to sell me the low rider s for 24k before tax when the Msrp is $18,999 no wonder they have over 20 of them in stock. HORRIBLE customer service. read more

So I was very excited to learn that my favorite Harley-Davidson Master mechanic Manuel Estrada AKA "Big Manuel" was working out of my preferred dealership location. I am a big fan of Manuel and the great job he does with all of my family's bikes. I have always made it a point to take our bikes to whatever location he was working at. WOW! What an Epic Day. First of all...I need to say..this is our 4th Harley. We've purchased from a couple of dealerships...been to a few others... But Riverside Harley Davidson really raised the bar and was the true example of what being a part of the Harley Davidson Family means. From our initial call with Kayla...whom convinced me to come there instead of another dealership where my guy was going to go and had several conversations with...i said lets go to Riverside cause San Marcos was a drive. We were greated by Nello...man what a guy. He really was so nice and professional. Im not the easiest customer to deal with especially when parting with hard earned cash...but hey..its a Harley!. Then we met the "silent one"...Randy. What a gentleman. He sat there and watched my belongings at the negotiating table while i migrated through the store..with Steve..looking at all the accessories. Next...the Finance guy...man did we love him...laughed and talked dogs and bikes. We were starving cause this took longer than we had anticipated..he even offered some snacks from his fridge. And we hit it off. I think we will be hitting the road with him as he lived in our same town! Next was Brent in parts...he hooked up our mics on our new helmets...and gave us quotes on parts for our other bike. Didnt even know if you need repairs i think over $600...they will pick your bike up and deliver it back! Part of the service. Who knew!.... Now of course..I needed a jacket as i had dropped some pounds..and Jaci in apparel...was so awesome. I got a beautiful jacket but more importantly she fitted us properly for our helmets. I NEVER HAD SOMEONE DO THAT! And Ive bought several from other HD dealerships. Its all about safety...and i had been buying too big of a helmet all this time. Lastly...when we finished the transaction...they played our favorite song and ALL of the staff hugged us and shook our hands and welcomed us to the family. It felt like we were honestly a part of sonething special..and bigger than just us. And i have to shout out for Kayla...the sweetheart who answered the phone before they opened cause we had called and called up to 9:59 (they open at 10a)...she bought us our bell and gave me a beautiful trinket that i am going to cherish. I know it was from her heart...and i now have a beautiful...little sister. Shes the reason we drove there to be honest. But most of all Steve got his DREAM BIKE! He didnt think it was possible in our range...but he did! we drove off in the EXACT bike he had wanted and the color he wanted too and didnt think we could afford a 2018 touring bike!. Long story short I took it in and they said they could give me $1500 for it. I've never felt so disrespected before in my life. I had spoke to sales prior to my visit regarding a bike I was interested in and ran my credit application, but as soon as I made my way down to the dealership, everything changed and I was deceived. I would never refer anyone to Riverside Harley-Davidson, our experience has been horrible. We purchased our bike 9/26/23, we never took bike home, stayed at dealership for add ons. Called the dealership multiple times 833-743-0518, response was, we do not know, call back in 1-2 days, we got the same response every week. Payment is due 10/26/23, as of today 10/17/23, we have not received our bike, was told again, 1-2 days, to call back. Today 10/17/23 not only did I call the dealership 5 times, called the finance dept 888-691-4337, same, they could not assist me, refer me to Harley-Davidson complaint line 414-343-4056, 800-252-2464, and got no help, no answers, got pushed around, was on hold for 40mins. 6th time, called Riverside Harley-Davidson, spoke with Mellissa and Mary, both stated management will call me back today. We never received any call backs. So unprofessional, no customer service, and bunch of liars. Still waiting for management, Mellissa, Jeff, Michael or Glen to call me back. I really enjoyed my experience with Riverside HD. I was in the market for a used Sportster. I was paying cash. I wanted something within 5 years of age, and less than 15k miles. I dealt with a woman named Haley, via text, who provided me photos of bikes before coming in. Once in, I dealt with a gentleman named Ray, who -very patiently- showed me every bike within my budget-ish. Negotiations are never fun, but they seemed motivated to sell me a bike, and we were able to work out a deal that was in my budget, for the bike that I wanted. Other than that, the dealership seemed cool enough, I mean, it's a dealership, not sure what else you would want. Comfortable to hang out in while wrangling numbers. Lots of aftermarket parts available to look at. Everyone seemed super nice and professional, and nobody was pushy. I've dealt with a few dealerships in my life, and this was one of the least painful experiences I've ever had. Im quite happy with my bike. Signed up online for the New Rider Course. My first time on a bike was Saturday morning at the range. Paul and Dave did such a great job making sure we are knowledgeable and safe riders. I passed my M1 knowledge test this morning at the DMV with flying colors, and am ready to get on a bike and keep practicing these safe riding skills! Definitely recommend this course to any new or first-time riders. H-D did a great job taking care of everyone. Sean is very knowledgeable about the bikes and willing to share his time and advice.
