Edit: They rectified the situation.
The customer service communication and vibe are good, but that's as far as the compliments go. The replacement/paint work was done to satisfaction, but not without issues.
I took my car in for a fender and front bumper replacement. I was told that it would be ready in 7 days. The car was ready in 11 days. It turns out they ordered a new rim from the dealership and completion of the project was contingent on its arrival. This brings to question on when in the span of the project was the rim ordered. It should have been the first thing on the list. Whatever. Extended stays are to be expected as some things are beyond your control. That's the nature of the business.
During the initial estimate, I noticed that a pinstripe for the fender would need to be ordered. I mentioned this to the man and he told me it would be no issue. It was added to the estimate. Upon inspecting the finished job, I noticed the pinstripe was not present. I was told that they could not find the matching pinstripe and that they didn't charge for the work. I find this claim to be suspicious as there is no difference between the initial estimate and the price paid in full.
"If you find the stripe online, bring it in and I'll put it on for free."
That was YOUR job. You were paid in full.
The exterior of the car was coated with dust. I then opened my trunk to store my belongings. I noticed my front license plate stuffed in there.
I walked into the work area to flag the man down. I show him my license plate and ask,
"What's up with this?"
"Oh, you want me to put it on there?"
"Well, that's where it was..."
"Okay, give me a moment and I'll get that on there for you."
He asks me if I can hand him the screws, and I tell him I don't know where they are. He tells me to look in the center console of the car. They aren't there. He goes and uses his own. You'd figure that they would do a quality control check and make sure that everything is in its place. I had to bring it to their attention, and still get asked if I want my license plate where it belongs. The disappointment doesn't end there.
I open my rear car door and I see the interior is full of dust. To top it off, it's got paw prints in the backseat (see photos). What were they doing? Did they leave my car open all this time for some stray animal to waltz in overnight? Did someone allow a pet in there? Clearly someone didn't give a hoot about this car. They did the bare minimum, got their money, gave me the key, and waved goodbye.
At this point I was mentally done with the whole ordeal. I wanted to leave, get my car washed, and put all this behind me. Of course, that wasn't quite the case. I run my car through the wash and step out to get a good look at the work done. I see that the fender liner wasn't sitting quite quite as well as it should. To top it off, the whole body of the car is speckled with what I'm assuming is paint from some other car they worked on. This includes the new fender. Do the shop owners not isolate projects? I now have to get my car detailed and polished.
All in all, the parts replaced were painted and installed well enough, but considering the price and shoddy management of the whole project, I would definitely not recommend this place.
Let's be real - the price they charge is on the high-end of the spectrum. For their price, one would figure that the work done would be stellar, sprinkled with high customer satisfaction, trust, and peace of mind, all adding to the total value. Instead, I got mediocre satisfaction, blatantly overcharged, and dismissed.
