Took my 2018 honda civic to get repaired for minor damage to the front bumper and hood. first day i took my car they were fairly respectfully and i thought my car would be in good hands. second day i went was to drop off my car for the repair process to begin. please note my car is a salvaged title meaning it was previously crashed AND REPAIRED prior to my second accident, which i let them know on DAY ONE, ANY competent person working with cars should know this, unfortunately the incompetent idiot that was working on my car (his name is GEORGE btw try and avoid him) didn't care to check this information. After taking my car APART to where it's no longer drivable, Curious George called me saying that they can no longer fix my car because it was previously worked on by someone else, and went on claiming that there was ADDITIONAL damage to the car the second time i brought it and that the damage wasn't in the pictures he took on day one, which is a lie and i have the picture THEY took to prove it. 1st claimed that the damage to the top left and right of my front hood was not in the first picture (which it very much was) 2nd claim was that my headlights had been switched out and they looked different in the pictures (my left headlight was scratched in the accident, still has the same scratch) i was literally speechless that they couldn't bother to do the bare minimum their job required, and on top of that they want me to pay out of pocket for a tow i do not want to take it to a new shop where that mechanic is expected to take liability for dumb ass george's mistakes. i told george word for word that the same condition i gave him the car is the same condition i want it back, but he's crazy and difficult to work with. called friday because they won't stop annoying for a new shop to move my car, after giving them the shop address and having the mechanic stay late waiting for my car to arrive they never drop it off. Went again monday morning to talk to a manager, they had claimed i signed papers saying they can take my car apart, and refuse to fix or put the parts back on do to it's being previously repaired, which was another lie, asked multiple times to show me where that was said and the managers response was "we can get lawyers involved and take this to court but it's against our policy". against policy my ass, their just money hungry and incompetent. ill include a picture of my car SECONDS after my accident to show how minor the crash was and continue by adding pictures they took and the condition their giving me my car back. whole situation was not only unethical but they handled it completely unprofessionally, mistakes happen and that's understandable, but to put YOUR mistakes on a customer is horrendous. read more

Very disappointed and frustrated with the service follow up by the manager of Gerber. Unable to get any cooperation with the repairs needed on our Chrysler. It has been several months of leaving messages with no action taken on Gerber's part. Hopefully after contacting our insurance they will intervene and we'll finally have an appointment and a car rental so that Gerber will follow up with completion of repairs. I am usually at work, so he worked directly with my wife and she has been giving a lot of compliments about how professional, kind, and honest Matthew is. Beatrice last reviewed on our Chysler 300 collision repairing since August 2021 and can not have my auto completed and given the run around since October of 2021. Car in for repair again for 11 days and told my times it was by repaired and ready to go as of last Friday August 12, 2022. Went to pick it up and still was not completed as promised. I was sent home with my car and told they would call when parts were in. I was told parts were there and that's why why my vehicle was there for those 11 days. My initial visit was amazing and everyone was super helpful. My service happened back in march. When I went to the front desk I was asked by Veronica her self to show the deductible was paid and I did. The process started and everything was good. I now have a voicemail from veronica stating that Geico is not paying the fee saying that we are responsible. She left a message which I attached here saying basically if we don't pay up we are going to be sent to collections. Then when we call her she said we have till Monday! This was one of the worst car experiences I've ever had. I went in with a hit and run claim and the car was deemed a total loss even though the damage was only cosmetic, to the driver door. I went in to talk with them about the estimate, which included things like new cloth for the seats- stuff I would never have asked for. As soon as I even asked about if there was any way to change the estimate the guy started shouting at me, saying that he could get fired if he took anything off the estimate, even going so far as to say he "has kids to feed." I was just trying to figure out my options, I'm a student and I had no idea they were going to total out my car, this is a disaster for me and he immediately accuses me of trying to get him fired in this incredibly dramatic fashion. Absolutely ridiculous and completely helpful. The heavyset guy with the Trump bracelet is the one who I talked to. I cried lol, I've never had someone treat me like that to be honest, it was really awful. I'll never go here again if I can help it. Avoid this place, especially if you're a woman, I don't know if I would have been treated that way if I were a guy.
