I needed an F250 to pull my RV as my F1 struggled in hot weather pulling uphill. I called about a truck Axio had listed. Mason,our salesman, told me that they paid $2000 more than KBB on trade in vehicles. Of course I was skeptical. I dealt with Mason at Axio's Wall Avenue location. After test driving the F250, I decided to see what the "out the door" price would be. I was pleasantly, or even amazingly surprised, with the document showing all of the financial details, so I decided to proceed with the purchase. After getting halfway home from the dealership, the air conditioning quit working. I immediately called Mason and he assured me that they would take care of me if I took the truck to their shop. It took me just over a week to take the truck in, but they worked on it for around three hours and fixed the air. . . at no charge. It has worked great ever since. Update:Went from a awesome experience to a damn headache. So my temp. tags from the dealership expired 08/06/25. Here it is 08/12/25 and still no temp tag extension or new plates. It's been a complete joke/mess trying to find out what's going on. Between the dealership and the dmv nobody seems to know what's going on. After multiple calls to each of them the conclusion is to anyone in the market for a new/used vehicle. Make sure the dealership has your information correct like name, address etc.... and has your paperwork into the DMV before your temp. tag is expired. I made a deal with Axio on a car deal in conjunction with Young Kia Hyundia. When I was finishing my deal at Young, they reduced the deal after I had a text and agreement to the price we decided on. i had previously brought the vehicle to them for an inspection prior to the deal with Young. After which, they did not change the amount they gave me. This is shows their integrity and they should not be trusted. I did not come up with the deal they did. My mother-in-law went to the Riverdale location and experienced the worst customer service I have ever witnessed! I don't understand how they managed 5 stars on Google reviews. They probably paid to remove the bad ones. They are seriously the most unprofessional dealership with the rudest employees. It's not surprising since their GM, Steve, is a condescending prick. The finance "manager" Destiny, does not know what she is doing. She claims she's been doing financing for years, but I do not believe that. 'Mr. Generous' my ass! How they all talk to their customers when questioned about their shady business is insane! Not to mention, they do not listen to the customer. All they care about is $$! When is it ever NOT okay to take a used car to a mechanic for inspection before purchase? Especially when they are over-charging for a vehicle with a bad motor. The manager said they would not accept an inspection from another mechanic apart from their Axio mechanics. How does it take a week to get someone financed and then tell them they have to make a payment on the vehicle they are trading in before they will pay off the loan? Now, my mother-in-law is stuck with a $50k used 2022 vehicle once interest is paid. To get out of this, she will need to file for bankruptcy! She pleaded to get her car back and undo the deal, but the manager would not give her the car back. RED flags everywhere! If anyone wants to buy a car, look elsewhere and steer clear of this place. First, I'm 25 years working around powersports and automotive dealers. Ronnie at their Riverdale location is a badass. The moment we stepped on the lot there was never any pressure. He wanted to know what we wanted. He didn't tell us what we wanted. We told him our price range and any other information that would help. Never was there ever any pressure. He cared more about finding us the right car than just selling us whatever was on their lot. Where do I start with this garbage of a business. Also, they have high google reviews because they beg you to give a google review when you are first in the dealership buying the car. Not after the true nature of their business is exposed.Yelp might be a more honest place since they do not beg for Yelp reviews This place is beyond a joke. They will sell you a car and take away financing two months later. They do this to several people. They keep your down. I think thats how they make money, since they do not really sell much based on the desperate looking sales people that run out to chase your car down when you pull in. The car I did have had no oil in the engine and the little amount left was black. They falsley put a sticker on stating an oil change was done. How many other things are they doing this with. When I confronted the dealer. The service manager postured up to me( a 50 year old woman) because he was called out. I guess he wanted to fight. The police had to come the whole experience was so bad. The lovely officers did tell me its not uncommon they are called there because of so many upset people. They "approved" me for a car, 2 months later no finance then they call to get the car back. I put a down payment like they asked. Lesson learn DO NOT LEAVE THE DEALERSHIP UNLESS YOU ARE APPROVED FROM A BANK!!!!!!! They had my hopes up & definitely made me look stupid with all the trips I took back to the dealership for updates and to get new tags for the 2 months! They really screwed me. I DONT RECOMMEND. They just want your money, they don't look into your finances to see if they could really Let you walk out the door with a car. Found a car online, expressed interest, a salesman reached out to me. Over the next few days I was assured by the salesman that because I was driving 6+ hours to the dealership that he would "shoot straight" with me about the car and that it was in great shape. He convinced me to put $500 non-refundable down to reserve the car. After we arrived we found that there were dents in the hood that were basically invisible in the photos because the car is white, dents/scrapes on both rear fenders, a broken reflector with a burned out light, and a touched up deep scratch on the rear passenger door. The salesman claims he didn't even notice them which is why he didn't tell me about them before I put $500 down and drove to Utah. Then they tried to tell me that paintless dent removal would remove the hood dents for about $200....nope, its actually $500 each and there are two dents. The wiper blades were trashed and they agreed to replace them, but it took over a week before they did anything and they wouldn't replace the rear blade at all. The worst part of the whole deal was the terrible employee Destiny. Apparently, she is some sort of paperwork person (but I'm guessing she is just related to someone within the company), she didn't even know how to sell a car to a resident of Montana, so all the additional paperwork fell to me to take care of. She was absolutely zero help and her attitude was atrocious. I bought the car on 7/20 and just yesterday (8/1), I received a UPS overnight letter from Axio with an old title and instructions that I have 10 days to provide this information to the DMV in my county (another task that is the dealership's responsibility), plus, I leave on vacation today, so that's impossible. Basically, this dealership is a bunch of liars, cheats, and noobs pretending that they know what they are doing, but they actually fall into the cliche of just being a skeezy used car dealer. I will never do business with Axio ever again and will do my best to dissuade others until my dying breath. read more

I would recommend not doing business with Axio Auto in Riverdale, especially I would not work with Abraham or Cam. I know lots of car dealerships and sales people are dishonest in their business and this is just another one that has no integrity or professionalism. I was lied to and strung along. I'm very sick and have spent 6 days in the last 2 weeks in the hospital (including today), and going out to purchase a car was a big deal for me. It is very difficult. It turned out that it was bait and switch. What they had promised me was not real, and in fact Cam didn't even show up for our appointment and the car was not there. Who knows if it even existed. Axio Auto and thier affiliates wich include all the Mitsubishi dealerships under the "Mr. Generous" banner are a bunch of well dressed thieves and liars. SPECIFICALLY... JOHN VANWAGONEER-OREM GM SCOTT BYER-SALESMAN KEVIN HALE-GENERAL MANAGER? I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUISNESS WITH AXIO OR THIER UTAH MITSUBISHI AFFILIATES!!! Little did I know that in 7 days, I would begin the most horrible and angering car buying experience ever. On Jan. 6th, we unfortunately purchased a 2021 80th Anniversary Jeep Compass with just barely 50k miles on the odometer. Exactly 7days later while on our way to the Denver Airport, it overheated. We pulled over to check it out. While I was out checking for obvious signs of a problem...the temperature gauge fluctuated several times as observed by my hubs in the passenger seat. There was no signal so we turned around and limped it back into town. Swapped out for another vehicle and restarted our trip to the airport. While fueling up the 2nd vehicle, I had a conversation with Scott, our salesman. That conversation amounted to him assuring us, that they...Axio..would handle this when we got back from the birthday trip to Vegas. Axio never followed thru on Scott's verbal promise. Axio sold me a useless extended warranty for an exorbitant amount of $4500 with so many exclusions that only 260$ of an almost 700$ bill was covered. See attached photos. Axio also never responded to the emails I sent regarding the repair bill. The warranty company also informed me that I cannot cancel said useless warranty without Axio submitting paperwork wich again, Axio refused to cooperate. Specifically, Mr. Jon Vanwagoneer, General Manager of the Orem UT Axio location. Furthermore, when I told him I wished to return the jeep he said and I quote "We do not take back vehicles. PERIOD" He also scoffed when I mentioned the price gouging in the amount of $2000. Thier Southtowne Mitsubishi location had it listed for 21995. I also remember seeing that 21995 list price on the main Axio website. I know i saw that becaue i went outside to look at the listing alone and without hovering Axio personnel. Axio sold it to us for 23995. We didn't discover this price discrepancy till later. We also found out that the only reason the loan "worked" was because they extended the loan terms 3 more months. They had said that they would sell us the "new" jeep for the same price as the one we originally drove out for. That too...was face-to-face lie. I have had several discussions prior to today's review edit regarding the price discrepancy and as of right now, no one at Axio OR the Utah Mitsubishi group will do anything about that. Nor have any of them come across as giving any care that I have been so horribly mistreated OR now lost 10k in down-payments and 8k deficit when I traded off that jeep compass lemon they sold me. Won't help with cancelation of the absurdly useless and expensive warranty they sold me. Won't investigate the unethical buisness practices at thier Orem UT Axio dealership. Won't hold anyone accountable for the price gouging. WONT DO ANYTHING AT ALL TO MAKE THIS RIGHT. I have NEVER in my life felt so horribly taken advantage of, purposefully misled and to my face lied to...all with a smile on thier face.
