Shadetree proceeded to tell me that they didn't find anything wrong, until after the warranty had expired. Only THEN...did they find the issues. How convenient for them. At that point they said it was going to cost thousands of dollars to fix or replace the bad engine (that they installed) with a new engine. It is my belief that Shadytree knew there were issues with the engine, and stalled until the warranty was up. I wouldn't doubt for a second that this is a common practice for them. Instead of moving forward with a true diagnostic, they repeated the exact same service (discharge and recharge) that had just been done, and then charged me $285 for it. In the end, I'm back to square one--still not knowing what's wrong with my AC, but now out the money for a redundant service I did not need. To make it worse, I was told I'd need to pay even more for a diagnostic... which is what I had asked for in the first place. Very frustrating and disappointing experience. Be careful coming here for service and make sure they're clear on what you're requesting, or you may end up paying twice without answers. Always ask for Donny. He is awesome!
