Don't buy cars here they are dishonest and sell lemons. The vehicle popped a dealer only code after 4 days of normal commuting, the suspension is bad all the way around apparently it sat for ten years because it hasn't been registered since 2014. It's gonna cost almost 3x what I paid to fix it. If I could give no stars I would. read more

I would not recommend this business to anyone. They are way overpriced for what they do compared to similar businesses. When picking up my vehicle after the work was performed, I found that they had thrown away some personal things, there was red dust all over my leather seats from things that they had put in there and my vehicle is not red. There were new scratches that were not there before in the back apparently from the rims and tires being up against the chrome. The supposed discount was not given on the final bill and was substantially higher than the estimated amount originally. If you're looking for a great mechanic shop, your search has ended. These guys are OUTSTANDING. Jeremy (the owner) and DJ (his right hand man) are stellar mechanics, and they are HONEST. There's a reason why their parking lot is always full. It's not because they are slow. Quite the opposite. Look closely and you'll notice that every couple of days the lot is full of completely different cars. The reason they are busy is because when one finds a mechanic that is both competent AND honest, one holds on to that mechanic like a fat kid holding cake. It's first come-first serve. Get your car there early. If you need to, you can park your car there after hours and leave your keys in the key box at the curb. (Looks like a mailbox) Just call and leave a message that you dropped the car off and what you need done, or give them a call in the morning. If you need to get new tags for your car, give them a call and they can squeeze you in and do the emissions and/or inspection while you wait. Jeremy and DJ are excellent at diagnosing issues and explaining everything to you before they do any work. No surprises. Great work at a great price. And they stand by their work. Jeremy also has his dealer's license. He always has vehicles for sale parked on the south side of the building next to Antelope. He buys them off the auction block and makes sure they're running smooth as silk before putting them up for sale. Want a specific type of used car that has been looked over by an awesome mechanic? (WHO DOESN'T?) Let him know what you want, and you'll get a great deal. I've been a customer for more than a decade - clear back to when their shop was in West Layton. Did the mechanics shuffle with me. What was supposed to be a simple wheel alignment turned into a 3 hour ordeal. They ended up messing around with the control arms on my car and snapped off the bolt on it. Shysters and shylocks. Don't recommend. Their lot looks like a used car junkyard anyway. This place is awesome! They are first come first served so try to get in as early as you can! They are always busy because they're a good and HONEST mechanic!! I've gone there when my car has had problems and they'd look over the car and give me a good understanding of what was causing the problems and the options to do about fixing it. I've also gone there and had the people tell me that they can't find what is causing the problem and to come back when its acting up more regularly. They even had a mechanic go for a drive with me to see if we could get it to do it again! Of course the car was driving beautifully when the mechanic was there with me though! Didn't charge me for checking it out where they couldn't identify the problem. I will ask one thing of yelpers reading this. If you go to get your car fixed here please don't leave your car there forever before picking it up. This place is always busy and needs all the parking spots that they have! There are several there that were all positive (from the time of this posting) that didn't get shown because the people who posted were not active on yelp. again, first come first serve!! Really rating it a 4.5 stars. Its hard to find a trust worthy mechanic. Ive had several issues with my car, from oil leaks, to wheels bearings, and timing belt job. Everything came back great! Except it still leaked (I believe from a different area). I brought it back in, and they took care of the issue. Very generously not to charging me, either. I think another shop would of easily said that leak is from X, and that will cost an additional $. Honorable folks here. Would of given a full 5 star but their starting hourly rate is bit too rich for me. Get what you pay for folks. They don't have an issue with returning customers, and seem consistently busy. read more

I have a Chevy HHR and I needed to have the headlight bulbs replaced. In the past I've replaced them myself. However considering the front tires need to be removed to access the wires from the wheel well, it's not fun!! I didn't have the time to do it myself so I figured I'd have B&R Rides do it for me, especially since they take very good care of our company's vehicles. They did a great job!! Came in randomly after our Outback started overheating on the way from Idaho to Colorado. The mechanic test drove the vehicle right away, even though they were clearly busy already, and told us it was just a loose clamp. $22 later and we're on our way. Awesome!! read more

My Honda dealer was going to charge me $660 to fix what they thought was causing my alignment issue. These guys did it for $67, plus gave me a coupon that I didn't even know about. Plan on getting there right when they open and possibly finding a friend to follow you there. For me, it took most of the work day, but they are meticulous and don't rush through things. As someone who knows nothing about cars, their honesty was refreshing and it was nice to go to a shop that doesn't try to nickel and dime me. read more

We had an issue with our Nissan and the dealership told us to pound sand because we were 2 days over on the warranty, didn't matter we tried to set the appointment up a week earlier but anyway. Nissan diagnosed the problem and said it would be around 8k to fix. It was a major repair. Adam with B&R looked at the car, was able to find the needed parts, and make the repairs for around 3k. I have a Ford Focus and it had some problem electrically. I've taken it to the Ford dealership on four separate occasions for the same problem and they could never figure out the problem; not to mention they kept my car for at least 5 days, every time, leaving me to find alternate ways to get to work or school. This is the place for honest, efficient auto repairs. I brought my 05 Tacoma in for a vibration in the Drive line another company told me the drive shaft was out of alignment. 10 minutes later the owner found that it was a U joint, not shaft alignment. After that I was so impressed I had them check what I was told was a bearing in the alternator to which they found a bad pulley tensioner. The repairs were Quick, the Price was reasonable, the workmanship is unrivaled... I highly recommend them. Thanks! read more
