Mario is honest and does excellent work. Premium is the only place I will take my car for anything, repairs, tires or just an oil change.

Update! Mario Called me after I posted. It started out cordial, but turned hostile. He said we have a failure to communicate. He said we could of solved this issue. I said I emailed you twice, and called you once. He said we could solve this at the dealership. I said I can still take down the Yelp review if you want, and I haven't charged back. Mario then says we have a failure to communicate. I said we'll were communicating right now. What solutions do you have to offer. Mario said that you do what you gotta do. I said I am willing to communicate do you have any solutions to bring to the table? Mario said "your going to charge back on your credit card, and that you don't lose disputes. Searched on Yelp for an auto shop & Premium Auto in Ogden came up. It was rated 5 stars so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I went with my instincts! Got there with my hubby & kids to get an oil change on our van & was seen right away. Mario came over to put on a movie for my kids to watch in the waiting area while we wait. so thoughtful of him for that. The workers are friendly, very professional & knowledgable in their work. Mario really gave us a good deal. We went in for one thing & needed something else to be done. All in all, I'm recommending Premium Auto to anyone and everyone! Mario and his team do excellent work. So many shops to choose from, but in my experience this is the place to go. I had him repair my mini cooper and my Yukon XL and they were quick and efficient. Both jobs were extensive: not just pads and rotors but control arms, emergency brake, engine light, oxygen sensor, etc. Estimate was accurate: nothing increased. He only did work that was necessary, without attempting to upsell. After the work was complete he showed me all the old parts and described the different damage and wear. read more

We live in Idaho and this summer, while heading to Colorado, our car broke down and was towed to Premium Auto in Ogden, Utah. Six weeks later, my husband was told the car was ready so he paid $78 for a seven hour bus ride to pick up the car. When he arrived, he found out that they hadn't checked it before giving him the okay and the car wouldn't start. They lent him an old, fluid leaking gas hog to drive back to Idaho and then back to Utah, the following week, to pick up his car. It took almost two months to get it repaired and afterwards, we kept smelling gas. As soon as he got enough money (car repair and traveling back and forth from Idaho cost almost $2,000), he took the car in to a car repair here in Idaho to get it checked out. The hose to the radiator overflow wasn't connected, a cover that goes in front of the battery was missing, and fuel lines going into the fuel injector weren't seated right and were leaking gas. Also, nuts and bolts were missing and a loose bolt was found in the undercarriage. Today, my husband called and talked to the owner, Mario Molina. He was offered a free oil change (we live 315 miles away!) and was cut short, before my husband had finished talking to him. What a nightmare! Our car could have caught fire, due to their negligence, and the least they could have done was pay the $85 it cost to fix what they hadn't done right. I don't know how they've received 5 star reviews. I'd give them 0 stars, if it were possible! read more

I wasn't happy that they made an appointment with me and when I showed up to drop off my car already having made arrangements for a family member to follow me, they told me they had never ordered the part so we had to reschedule the appointment. I had confirmed with Javier 3 times that he would order the part and we were good for Thursday. While I was getting the quote he seemed to distracted and that he was just trying to get me out of there. I guess it turns out he was distracted as he never ordered the part. I had moved my schedule around for that specific day and they they just asked me to come back the next day as if there was no problem or that they hadn't inconvenienced me in any way. So I'm already not pleased and they haven't even done the work yet. Why is it so hard to find a mechanic that is reliable with business and mechanical sense. read more

Great repair shop. Very honest and fast. My serpentine belt snapped and destroyed multiple parts. Premium auto was very helpful in the entire situation and fixed my vehicle within 24 hours. If you have an issue and live in the Ogden area I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else other than premium auto. read more
