Massive disappointment. Ordered a sprinter oil cooler kit. Took them a while to ship. The kit is…read moreessentially a Mishimoto setup, with Dave's nicely machined oil filter adapter and high quality Mishimoto oil cooler. The lines ended up coming with thin nylon covered hoses, not the stainless depicted in some of the illustrations on his website. The mounting hardware doesn't fit, with pieces that differ in his installation video for the same model sprinter. Spent many hours bending, cutting and fitting his "kit". Even the mounting bolts and spacers had to be replaced. Wrote 2 emails about my issues and got no response. In the installation video, "Bryan" says this kit can be installed in about an hour. I am an experienced home mechanic with a good of tools and it took 8 hours to get it to fit. Don't buy anything from this outfit. I quit watching his videos and wouldn't recommend Dave's Auto Center to anyone.

While driving in on Saturday, we heard a loud noise after hitting a big bump on the freeway. By Sunday, while driving around town, we became increasingly concerned that something was wrong with the front end of our Tahoe. Monday morning, with a 10-hour drive home ahead of us, we started calling nearby shops. The first mechanic we stopped at couldn't fit us in, and we were honestly starting to panic. Thankfully, we found Extreme Auto Group nearby -- and they were amazing. Even though we were not local customers, they made time for us, got our Tahoe looked at quickly, identified the issue, and worked incredibly fast to get us safely back on the road. I knew it wasn't full going in and I was sure to specify that it needed to be filled while I was there. It was quite surprising to see that it was still completely empty when I got home after my services. Long time customer but I will no longer Be going here due to the negligence of the employees. This could have caused serious long term damage if I hadn't caught this.

I took my 1999 van into Elroy because it was struggling to start and stay started. It was something…read moremajor (an alternator?) and I had to pay around $400, which I expected. I got my car back within two days, such a great turn-around time for such a major repair. About four months later I was having problems again with the car just dying on me. I made it to Elroy again. They looked into it and said there was a connection that was bad, they fixed it and were just going to charge me for labor ($80 I think). Then they noted that they had repaired something similar recently and sent me on my way, no charge. They are good at what they do, honest, and kind. Thanks Elroy Wilson!
