On the way home from a long drive to and from Palm Beach Gardens, we needed a pick me up. So we…read moredecided to stop at Bridge Street Coffee for a bite to eat and drink. The shop is located on a quiet street right next to the Forrey Grill, a restaurant we like very much. There are tables outside the shop which is delightfully welcoming. As you walk in you might wonder if you were in Alice in Wonderland! Adorably furnished with comfy couches, tables and high tops. The menu is large along with all kinds of coffees and teas. There is also ice cream and home baked goods. We sat down and our server brought me a large tall cold unsweetened ice tea with lemon. David had a mocha frappe topped with whipped cream! He also ordered the spicy bean and sausage soup. I opted for a cup of broccoli cheese soup and a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough bread. The food was super delish. The chicken salad with lettuce and tomato was one of the best I've had in a long time. Mine also came with a fresh baked macadamia nut cookie! We enjoyed our lunch and took in the lovely surroundings. What a great place for a tea party, birthday party or baby shower! We will definitely return on our next trip going to the east coast!

Note that our visit was mid-afternoon Labor Day 2025; though the restaurant wasn't very busy, maybe…read morethe holiday affected the service. I'm always suspicious when a server doesn't write down our order, but usually it's unfounded. Unfortunately, this time my concern was justified. Hubs ordered a Chicken Philly sandwich but was served a Steak Philly. The food-runner seemed indifferent when he brought us our food, and it was a solid 10 minutes before our server came by again to check on us. All she offered was an apology. And later, hubs had to wave down our server for to-go boxes because she never came back to ask if we needed anything. And yes, we were charged for the Philly sandwich. Aside from not getting exactly what we ordered, the food was fine. We might even return.

Took a last minute trip to the area with someone who owns a property in the area. Because of the…read morelow key area, the only decent restaurant was The Tiki Bar and Grill. Not vegetarian friendly but the vibe was nice. I wish they had more options because the drinks were good, the view was nice and the place was busy on a Saturday. It's an hour drive from where I live. I could see myself taking a drive on a weekend and renting one of the beautiful places around the restaurant. The food, not the best, even the cheese quesadilla was boring and so was the appetizers. The service was great and so was the ambiance. They have a nice shop you can buy gifts etc
