Stopped by Punto Rojo on my way back home and I wasn't disappointed. New Hidden gem in this small peaceful area. They have a variety of Colombian dishes. They are a bakery & restaurant. I ordered a few of their empanadas and they were fresh! Their bandeja paisa was on point with a great portion and you know I love my reasonably portioned meals lol! the tres leches dessert was delish! This place is well known with locals and word of mouth so it's always busy. there's indoor and outdoor seating. What a great addition to Clewiston FL!

The snapper was on point and truly delicious. Our the server was smiling and very happy to provide hospitality. The ambiance of the restaurant was welcoming and delightful decorated. The plantains, rice, and salad were all of top quality. To top it off the flan was amazing.

Ordered a number 31 with fries instead of plantains and a rice pudding and a Tres leches in a cup with a strawberry on top, it was all good

I am in CLEWISTON a few days for work and I came across this quaint little restaurant. The service is good and the food is outstanding. I've had the whole fried red snapper twice and I'm on my way back now to get the Carne Asada. The salads are very fresh and delicious along with the sweet plantains oh, and don't let me forget to mention they are a bakery as well. They make empanadas cakes and all types of breads. I had a cheese and beef empanada. Those were both delicious. I will be sure to stop at this bakery/restaurant every time. I am in CLEWISTON.

Delicious find in Clewiston. Colombian restaurant that is perfect for a hearty meal. We didn't try any of the baked goods (regrettably) as too full from the generous meals portions! DO eat here!

Colombian bakery and restaurant. We ate lots of baked goods. Everything was delicious. We also had a Cholata which is kind of a Colombian snow cone with fruits and condensed milk. It was amazing.

Really good food, amazing service and a chill ambiance, the prices are not bad at all, I'm here right now for the third time, let's see what I get.

Food presented well. Expected it to be robust with flavor, but there wasn't a lot of flavor at all .

I liked the sauce but the potatoes did not have a good texture. I think they use the wrong potatoes, the ones used to fry not the ones use to boil if you know what I mean. I also ordered the jalea mixta which was ok. I thought there was a lot of fish in comparison to the other things that usually come with it. I would probably come back but I would try different dishes. It's hard for restaurants to do this variety of dishes well. Maybe and their forte is Colombian food... I would have to see. Great costumer service. Great ambiance, small cute, comfortable seats.

Staff is so friendly and accommodating. You get a real sense of pride and true hospitality from everyone. Especially Veronica, who offered suggestions for meal choices that were more unique Peruvian dishes. We both changed our selections based on her recommendation and were not disappointed! She also recommended a drink and a dessert that were great choices. You could feel that she really wanted us to have a memorable experience. Would highly recommend! And ask for Veronica!

We ordered a Hawaiian hot dog, a Choriperro, two appetizers, and drinks, spending about $50. First, our server brought just one hot dog out of the four meals. It looked like a Hawaiian hot dog--pineapple, pink sauce, chips on top--so I assumed it was mine and ate it. However, when the rest of the food arrived over 20 minutes later, my husband realized he'd been given a Hawaiian hot dog instead of the Choriperro he ordered. We told the waitress, who took the plate back, but the manager came over and insisted that what I'd eaten was a Choriperro, not a Hawaiian hot dog. Despite me explaining that I'd already eaten the Hawaiian hot dog, she argued and refused to replace my husband's order with what he originally wanted. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, the manager returned to our table carrying a tray with an uncooked regular hot dog and a Choriperro to "teach" us the difference, as though we were clueless. It was humiliating and unnecessary. Yes, I mistakenly ate the wrong hot dog because it was covered in so many condiments that I didn't realize it was the Choriperro--but that's precisely why the staff should have helped fix the mix-up rather than argue and try to "educate" me. Rather than provide good customer service, the manager chose to belittle and embarrass us in front of the restaurant. My husband ended up eating a hot dog he didn't want or enjoy, and we left feeling humiliated and angry. I would never return to La Perrada del Gordo and absolutely do not recommend it to anyone. A simple mistake could have been handled kindly and professionally, but instead, the staff made it the worst dining experience I've ever had.

With its cobblestone streets, white church, colorful buildings, plaza and breathtaking view on the Nutibara Hill, it becomes a popular tourist attraction in Medellin! Pueblito Paisa was built in 70's to replicate a typical Antioquian Village to showcase their lifestyle and heritage! Mi Pueblito Paisa started as food truck at 4509 Lee Blvd, Lehigh Acres serving Columbian cuisine. In late 2023, they moved to FGCU's University Village. It is situated next to Tacos and Tequila Cantina. It has six inside tables and more than dozen outside tables. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday! We walked in for early dinner on Saturday. The staff is very hospitable, friendly and answered many questions we had. This location was a take-out restaurant with heavy deep-fried items. The ambiance was simple other than the huge Mi Pueblito Paisa sign with customs and hats. If you go to www. mipueblitopasia.com, or Facebook or Instagram, it still refers to the Lehigh Acres food truck location and menu. The new menu using QR code on the table was not working in my iPhone. The new menu at the University Village is greatly expanded. Their web site or social media is work in progress! I have images of some of popular Columbian dishes from home and with the help of our server, we ordered a Salchipapas, and Cazuela de Marisco with a nice Mora fruit drink! The Salchipapas, one of popular fast-food dish commonly served as street food. The Pueblito Paisa version has crunchy French Fries topped with sausage, pork belly, white cheese in condiments. The sausage and pork belly added the savory taste to the fries! The portion was huge and we took half portion home! Th Cazuela de Marisco was a seafood stew that is served with Avocado/tomato salad, coconut rice and fried plantains or tostones. This seafood stew was served with small shrimps, clams, scallops, and calamari but packed in flavor! The avocado/tomato salad with a little onion added a refreshing taste to the stew. Wife loves that coconut rice but she is not a fried plantain fan! If you like Columbian food, this is the place to visit! We'll back for more Sancocho, Bandeja and Picada!
