This place is absolutely fantastic. Every member of the staff is so welcoming and friendly. The…read moredecor inside shows so many pictures and paintings of what it's like in Cuba and they do a fantastic job of showing how beautiful the country is. But it's the food that's the best!! The picadillo is probably one of the absolute best that I've ever had. The Cuban sandwich was stuffed and all the flavors were amazing. I wish it was pressed a little longer to make it a solid crisp all the way through the sandwich. Those mashed potatoes were amazing and the pork belly was a great addition to them

The Croquettas Jamon Cubanas were as tasty as we're used to, and the mayonnaise-based sauce was nice and smooth. Unfortunately, the Empanadas De Picadillo have changed, and not for the better. Our Cubano Sandwich wasn't quite as good as in the past - - the pork was a bit overcooked and dry. Everything else was perfect. Our Margaritas were nice and refreshing, as always. Our server, Bryan, was terrific. His suggestions were helpful and his service attentive. Copacabana is light and airy - very comfortable. We sat outside on their large patio. Despite being right on Main Street, there was no "road noise" and it is well lit and very inviting.

We ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on Cuban bread, and let me tell you this thing is HUGE! It was easily big enough for two people to split and was loaded with bacon. The Cuban bread was absolutely perfect fresh, soft, and delicious. Of course, we had to pair it with a café con leche, and it did not disappoint! Then came the pastries because you can't visit a bakery and only order one thing! We tried the cheese pastry, guava pastry, and apple turnover, and every single one was delicious. They had the perfect amount of sweetness without being overloaded with sugar, so you could actually taste the amazing guava flavor. We even took home a whole platter of guava and cheese pastries for the family. Unfortunately for me, they were completely devoured before I could get a picture! They have plenty of seating if you want to sit and enjoy your food, or you can grab everything to go. The service was fast, the food was delicious, and it was SO much better than grabbing another fast-food meal on the road. Definitely add Havana Restaurant and Bakery to your road trip food stops! You won't regret it!

Hey guys! Just a quick followup on this fantastic restaurant. So we went back yesterday for lunch,…read moreand again,NO DISAPPOINTMENT! The way the food is cooked here immediately transports me to my childhood home, with mom cooking, yelling at us kids to stop lifting the lids off the pots. This food is phenomenal. The rice and beans, platanitos, tostones, all have such a flavor, and that special ingredient that only a mother has, love. I had the tostones, the wife had bistec empanizado and we took the croqueta sandwich home. Man o man, I dont think I've ever finished ameal without taking a to go container with me. The service is excellent, food is 10 stars! I genuinely feel as if I was in a family members home for lunch or dinner, not in a restaurant. This place should be on a tv show somewhere. I think ill nominate them for Guy's Triple D. Keep up the great work, see you next week. :)

Restrooms were very clean and I loved the art inside. Food was delicious, well seasoned, cuban cuisine. Portions were large and adequately priced. Everything was house made and according to the server, it was grandma's recipes. In fact, the entire family was working last night so please come support this small business. The only recommendations I have is to minimize the number of small plates on the main entrées. Your dishwasher will thank you. The ropa vieja was well seasoned, but it lacked the tomato sauce.

The restaurant feels like a colorful, garden‑style hideaway, full of charm, warmth, and the delight of discovering a true local gem. And of course, the two resident chickens, Popcorn and Carmel, add their own quirky personality to the experience. Our server, Mimi, was excellent--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The café is tucked away along the back roads of Chokoloskee, surrounded by the kind of old‑Florida scenery that's becoming rare. The food was outstanding. We started with tostones (fried plantains with garlic), then enjoyed the pork sandwich with chips and the pork plate with rice, beans, and two perfectly cooked sweet plantains. Every bite was rich with authentic Cuban flavor. We finished with the flan, which was so good we could have easily ordered a second. With its lovely outdoor seating, light radio music floating through the air, and a staff that treats you like family, HavAnnA Café delivers an experience that feels both heartfelt and memorable. The only thing missing was a hammock--I could have taken a nap and geared up for an early dinner. The seafood stew looked especially tempting for next time. A wonderful stop in a part of Florida that still holds its original soul. And by the way, don't leave without grabbing a bottle of their hot sauce--sweet, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick!!!
