Adorable little restaurant in Clewiston on the way to the east coast of Florida. We normally stop at Mc Donald's but decided to try this place instead. I ordered an omelet with turkey sausage, veggies and cheese. I also got a side of grits. David got the same, except with ham and an English muffin. Everything was home cooked and delicious! Our server was extra friendly and made sure we had coffee. We shall definitely return! read more

I'm sure the older gentlemen having breakfast at the center round table were the Movers and Shakers for the Community, reminded me of another small initmate gathering space in St Cloud.. If you're in Clewiston, Florida - this is a must stop for coffee and breakfast or lunch! It's locally owned and operated and has personal service. The menu has an assortment of soups, salads and sandwiches. Great place on your own or in small groups. The best coffee is the Cafe D'Orleans - a Common Grounds original! YUMMO!! The cafe will also host small parties, baby showers and events. The only downside is that it usually closes around 4...so if you're an evening coffee drinker - you might be disappointed. read more

Common Grounds Coffee Shop - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Clewiston, Florida

4 stars for delicious food and friendly service; minus one star for speed but that may be because its so popular. In a town that is otherwise is all about fast food, this is like manna from heaven - awesome coffee, great sandwiches (breakfast or lunch) and soups, yummy baked goods - and all served by some of the nicest people ever. They have their own coffee blend, cafe d'orleans, that tastes like a latte with cinnamon and vanilla. It's better than espresso because no aftertaste. And you can't beat the price. It was under 3 dollars for coffee and about 5 for chicken salad sandwich served with fruit. It took a while for order but they were pretty crowded and seemed to have a big takeout business so maybe that's it. I wish we had a place like this in Tampa! read more

Very homey place. Cheap but good coffee. Smiling faces. This place is a staple of the small town that is Clewiston. Now when I think of Clewiston I think of this little coffee shop. They also sell a bunch of homemade stuff like jelly in mason jars. read more

The wait is long, serving size is small and asking and getting ketchup is like waiting for passport. Bring your own condiments. Waitresses are overwhelmed. In the time I was there I saw wrong coffee orders on other tables, I had to stand at register to get a thimble of ketchup because everyone kept forgetting. read more

They have the best chicken salad sandwich on this side of heaven! The croissant is also fresh and buttery. The sandwich and the Cafe D'Orleans are my favorite items on the menu. read more

On an interesting drive across Florida, I decided to stop for a relaxing cup of coffee. You can't imagine my surprise when I entered this cozy, little oasis in Clewiston. I tried the Cafe D'New Orleans along with some teeny, tiny pumpkins muffins and thought I had landed in heaven! Wonderful little place along the main drag!!! read more

Common Grounds Coffee Shop - Getting ready to enjoy this coffee dream! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Clewiston, Florida

Common Grounds best kept secret in Clewiston. Great food. Great service. Great prices.

We were crossing the state and happened upon this charming family run coffee shop. The breakfast egg entrees were perfect as were the grits. Try the Orleans coffee-sweet and creamy. A memorable dining experience in a warm cozy atmosphere. read more

Found this spot by chance, I was driving my MG around the lake on Saturday and stumbled across it. Probably one of the best coffees you'll ever have. Great atmosphere. A little slow on the food but well worth it at the end. Definitely recommending this cafe. I'll be back soon. read more

Stopped in for breakfast and coffee. The coffee was so good, we bought a bag to bring home. The breakfast was simple but a good breakfast sandwich (with your choice of bread, biscuit, croissant) was all we needed. It took a little while because they were busy. But the service was friendly and as prompt as possible. read more

Great food, awesome staff, and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely happy to have found this place!

Went with my Mom and Aunties when visiting after reading reviews, and I wasn't disappointed by anything. I had an AWESOME chicken salad, so did my Mom. One Auntie had a fried bologna sandwich, and it was served without any condiments, which is the only reason I'm taking a star off because she had to ask for those. The other Auntie had breakfast of eggs over medium, biscuit and sausage. They do not have pancakes or waffles, so they do not have syrup, which my Auntie asked for but settled for honey instead. The Columbian coffee was GOOD but I was sad we didn't get refills. My Mom had water, which she said tasted slightly funny to her, but it's to be expected in a place far from home. I'll for sure be returning here if I'm back in Clewiston soon! read more

love love love every time I'm in Florida to bust family we go for breakfast and it's such a cute

Common Grounds was a welcome find when I got stuck on a bad road trip and ended up stranded in Clewiston for a couple of days while my car was resurrected from the dead. Caffeine seems to make things a little better and every morning when I got up and found out I was delayed again I would catch a ride over here and keep from going into caffeine withdrawal. The staff is very friendly, and the decor makes you feel very comfortable. This is a pleasant morning stop, and one I recall with a smile. You won't go wrong stopping here and checking them out! read more
