The food is fresh and hot and comes out quickly. The portions are hefty. The meat overflows in your taco shell. One thing I like about this place is that there is a self-serve bar with all the condiments and you can pack them on your meal. I really like this concept. All the food comes out with sautéed onions and a grilled jalapeño - warning, the jalapeño is very spicy, you can take the seeds out, which doesn't make it as hot. We had an Horchata, which was huge, at least 32 ounces and can definitely be shared with two people. The Modelo beer was pretty expensive. The only downfall about the restaurant is it is directly on I-27. The outdoor seating is very noisy and dusty with all the traffic constantly driving by and you're always swatting away flies from your food. It's better to eat inside if you're dining in. Overall, the food is great and full of flavour and you get a hefty portion. The staff is pleasant and it's definitely somewhere I would recommend stopping by to eat if you're ever driving through Clewiston. Just don't eat outside.

I'm always suspicious when a server doesn't write down our order, but usually it's unfounded. Unfortunately, this time my concern was justified. Hubs ordered a Chicken Philly sandwich but was served a Steak Philly. The food-runner seemed indifferent when he brought us our food, and it was a solid 10 minutes before our server came by again to check on us. All she offered was an apology. And later, hubs had to wave down our server for to-go boxes because she never came back to ask if we needed anything. And yes, we were charged for the Philly sandwich. Aside from not getting exactly what we ordered, the food was fine. We might even return.

Lunch started with chips and salsa; we ordered the queso fundido (melt cheese) as we enjoyed the chips so much. The queso was delicious and nicely baked on an iron skillet. The al-pastor burrito was flavorful and filling. We purchased some bags of corn chips (off the rack) as we were told they were made daily, unfortunately they were not as fresh as we hoped.

I've been there a couple times never had a problem the other ones you get mediocre food and attitude you asked for a soda they act like like you're such a big bother so I recommend the one in Bayshore as the owner is always there. I think every restaurant home by a different person cause their prices are different at one in Fort Pierce. A platter runs you like $15 the one on Boulevard their platters are usually like $18. The one in Bayshore their platters are eight dollars and you get plenty of food to eat.

What can I possibly say about Rio Bravo Mexican Restaurant?…read more THE GOOD: -They were open on 4th of July. -Staff was very nice. -The menu is a book, full of options. THE BAD: -A bit difficult to find. The GPS led us to the plaza but not the restaurant itself. -The restaurant was a ghost town upon arrival. It took a bit to find an employee to take our order. -The restaurant looks worn down and could benefit from some new and updated furniture. THE UGLY: -Possibly the best tortillas I've ever had, the vegetables also were so fresh, the rice flavorful. So what's the issue then? The meat was cheap, bland, and horrible given that everything else was A+. Consequently, four stars might be rather kind given how disappointing that meat was. I would definitely return if in the area and instead order the chicken. Skip the steak here!
