The service was good but the environment needs an upgrade. I feel overall it needs a deep cleaning.

I was there two days ago and now I have a horrible ingrown and infection prior to my visit I had neither symptoms

DO NOT go to this nail salon. Today during school drop-off, my child became hysterical, crying and screaming because she was scared I was going to get hurt. All because of an incident at this nail salon. I complied with everything they asked. I showed them my bank account with proof that the Zelle payment went through, where it was funded from, when it was delivered--everything. I even offered to text them a screenshot directly from my phone. Despite all of this, they continued to harass me and followed me to my car, attempting to take a picture of my license plate. According to others, this isn't the first time something like this has happened at this location. If they know they have issues receiving Zelle payments or poor communication on their end, they should stop accepting it as a form of payment. Before I even left the parking lot, I contacted my bank, who confirmed that the money was successfully sent and received in their account. I informed the salon that if they had concerns, they needed to contact their own bank or phone provider--but that everything on my end was done correctly. I made a police report regarding this incident, and I will be pressing charges. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable--especially in front of children. The emotional stress this caused my child is not okay. Please think twice before doing business with this place. read more

I love coming here they have affordable spa packages starting at $35 and up. I haven't had luck with getting my nails how I want but I come here monthly for pedicures. read more

I have had the worst experience here. I have never been treated so horrible as I was today. I made a 930 appointment the person I mad an appointment with was not in. Come to find out she had another appointment. I asked to call her and find out with she will be available. She came in shortly after. She was aggressive with the drill I asked her if she was upset she had to do my nails. She said don't worry. Um u are hurting me I am very worried. If she didn't do a good job I would of walked out. When it comes to manicures & pedicures, I think river nails does an exceptional job. I really enjoyed coming here until an incident that occurred. An African American expressed her concerns about her acrylics. Apparently, after four days of her getting her acrylic nails done, they had already cracked. She expressed this to one of the nail techs. This lady didn't raise her voice or used any profanity, she was just simply asking to speak to the manager. The manager wasn't present at the time. The lady just wanted to let the nail tech know to please let the manager know to not shave the nails down too much for future appointments. After the nail tech spoke with the customer, she comes back to finish my pedicure. She laughs and says "She hasn't been in here in two months. I know this because I can see the camera" so basically the nail tech was insinuating that the customer was lying. Aside from that, she also mentioned "customers Just want a refund." I didn't want to make this about skin color, but here I go. Just the fact that this nail tech assumed this customer wanted a refund and was lying about when she had her last appointment had really bothered me. Maybe it had nothing to do with skin color but why would she even assume that? The customer didn't even express that she wanted her money back. I enjoyed going here & never had any issues but this really changed my thoughts on going back here again. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. I came here to remove my Acrylic set to get a new set. As they were removing my acrylic set they ripped my fingernail off my thumb and I was bleeding. All the lady did was soak my finger in alcohol which hurt really bad and then she put Krazy glue over it! That wasn't it. After getting my acrylics finished I didn't leave a tip on the receipt so I just left a two dollar tip cash because I'm a very kind person. A few days after going here I checked my bank account statements I noticed that I was charged $60 at this nail salon when originally the lady had ran my card for $50. She tipped herself $10 on the receipt. Never going back here again. I wonder how many people they do this to?!? People check your bank statements like I do. read more

Went in for a full set pink with white ombré and was not pleased. My sister also came in for a completely different design but they said they couldn't do it so he tried something else. Not very transparent with their prices. I felt very disappointed with the service. When I tried asking how much for gel just because I was curious (I don't like gel because it makes my nails really thin and I have nice natural nails) they were thinking about it and while waiting I just said it's ok, no thank you. I took my daughter here for a mani when we were in the area. She was loving it. Was treated like a princess. They want you to feel as welcoming and relaxing as possible so they offer water even for me who wasn't doing my nails. They even let me sit on the pedicure station where I can get a massage while waiting. This shop is under a new owner. They recently remodeled the store and their massage chairs are new. Found this gem while looking for new nails salons in the area since I recently moved nearby. I come here every time i need a new set or pedi because they do an amazing job!
