    Fried calamari

This place is conveniently located right by the exit of the system island ferry, and there's not much else here. However it's very disappointing. Calamari was very soft, soggy and fishy. Burger was tasteless. The good thing about this place is the view of the New York skyline and Statue of Liberty from a far but that's it. Service was average, not bad but not great.

Maybe a bit touristy trappy, but there's nothing else really in the area for a quick cocktail or beer. I stopped in after shopping at the outlets, and had some time to kill before heading back to the other fair isle. I got a drink, the red River cocktail (which was a mezcal, pomegranate liqueur and some Bitters). It was prettier than it tasted, but over all it was okay. Next time, I'll probably get a bullet can from the bodega in the terminal.

Conveniently located in the SI Ferry Terminal, with beautiful views of NYC skyline, outdoor seating in the summertime. The food is very good, delicious cocktails and friendly service.

Hi, visited this spot at the Staten Island Ferry area, it was quiet, clean. Attentive staff, nice outdoor area to enjoy views of NYC skyline and harbor traffic. Food we selected was great, well cooked and presented in a creative way.

I went with a group of friends and because we didn't have time to explore Staten Island, we decided to give this spot a try. It was a large group but the place was not super busy. It took awhile for us to get served. Our server was okay but very structured in her method of taking orders. My friend was really hungry and wanted her meal with the appetizers and she told her no and that she has to wait. Then my friend wanted dessert early, again a no. Finally ordered calamari, lobster ravioli and crab cakes. The calamari wasn't bad. Nor the best, not the worse. After time, I forgot I order crab cakes. The food came out including the crab cakes. The lobster ravioli was okay. My friends had issues with their food, especially the lobster mac and cheese which was like it came from the box. My friend did finally say something. I didn't eat all my crab cakes but overall they were okay. I ended up leaving two of the three there on accident. I would probably not return since there are so many other restaurants in NYC to try out. It served its purpose for the group that night.

Best view from the ferry terminal on Staten Island. It wasn't busy that evening. There's a decent beer selection. Food is okay. Pretty convenient to go to. A lot just go to Staten Island to take pictures on the ferry. Most turn back right away. Why not enjoy the view a little longer. In the terminal is this bar. The best thing about it of course is the view of the skyline. As for the drinks they aren't bad either. Beer selection includes many local choices like the Five Boroughs IPA. After taking the ferry all the way to Staten Island, just stay awhile. Hang around the terminal and this bar. There's some good picture opportunities and sightseeing.

SECOND, the food is just as amazing! I was so happy hahah. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a restaurant for more than just their food. We came here for my boyfriend's parent's anniversary and the server's were wonderful and honestly very thoughtful as well! They were very attentive to our table and refilled our waters often. I also say this because when my bf's parents ordered the halibut to split, they had brought out their meal in two individual plates that were beautifully plated, you would think they ordered separately! They also took our group picture! :) We ordered 2 orders of the Basement Snacks: For Two, 2 orders of their raw oysters for appetizers. For my entree I ordered the Shrimp Carbonara Rossa with a side of Asparagus. Everything was so good. Their buffalo wings were perfectly marinated and not too saucy, their ribs were so tender and the meat fell straight off the bone! My carbonara was also delicious. For dessert they even gave an anniversary treat which was so sweet. I ordered a Chocolate Cappuccino which was also great. 11/10! Wonderful and would recommend.

From the moment we arrived, the service was flawless -- warm, incredibly attentive, and perfectly paced. The refreshments were so great for a celebration. The Cocktails: Expertly crafted and sophisticated. It was refreshing to have drinks that were perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The coffee was served alongside dessert, it was rich and the perfect finishing touch to a wonderful meal. While the Filet Mignon was a popular and well loved choice among our group, and the Meatballs were universally raved about for being truly excellent, the real showstopper for me was the Chicken Parmesan. I don't typically order steak, so I was delighted by this choice. The cutlet was impressively sized yet elegantly thin, showcasing the high quality of the chicken. It was served with a side of creamy mashed potatoes, which was such a comforting and delicious pairing. It did remind me of visiting Germany believe it or not like a schnitzel style cutlet but still very italian if that makes any sense. If you visit, you simply cannot miss the fried eggplant appetizer with burrata. It is divine! This dish alone would be the perfect excuse to drop by for a casual dinner date or a "girls' night out" centered around appetizers, wine, and to try a dessert. I would absolutely return!

The fried calamari could've been less oily, as this took away from the crunch; also slightly overcooked. Baked clams were decent. Salmon was cooked to perfection. Pizza was great! They reheated for us, since our group was too busy chatting. Desserts - phenomenal! Drinks- ehh. Brunch menu - French toast was decent. The salmon over hash brown , was lacking a touch of something , couldn't pinpoint what was lacking. Chicken and waffles, decent, wasn't the best I've had. Service- jonathan was our waiter during brunch and also our bartender. He's GREAT! During service dinner, we had a female waitress and I felt she lacked attention to details and couldn't flag her down when we wanted something. Overall, service is a hit or miss , I guess? If you're looking for an intimate dinner, nope. Love their vibes and music playing in the background. You might need to "shout"'to hear

Because the 1st time we came back in '22, on a Sunday, the entire bar was booked for some kid's birthday party. When we walked in, people looked at us like we were clearly in the wrong place (rather than tell us, nicely, that they simply weren't open to other customers). So we came back today, on a goegeous Saturday, at about 2:00 pm. Prime time for people to head out on a walk to explore Staten Island, and to grab a refreshing beer at a local brewery. And guess what? Closed, again. For another kid's party. You know how the saying goes - screw me once, shame on you. Well, this is officially 0 for 2. The kicker is that we even called ahead multiple times to try and see if they were indeed open today; got zero answers, and their voicemail is full. I've absolutely, positively no idea why this place has tremendous reviews. They absolutely stink at handling the basics of a brewery. Not to mention, and not to throw shade at the entire neighborhood, but the adjacent plaza isn't exactly visitor-friendly. Trash everywhere basically. Do yourself a huge favor and come try the nearby Craft House. They do CRAZY stuff here, such as: a) answer phones b) serve adults on a Saturday c) have good beer and good bar apps. Never trying my luck at the joke of a "Flagship" brewery again.
