Unfortunately, somewhere between the follow-up conversation with the bakery and the final product, there was a major disconnect. The order was for a 20-24 cupcake cake, but what was prepared was a full sheet cake. Thankfully, what could have turned into a horrible experience for my son's graduation celebration became an outstanding example of exceptional customer service. Brandon, the Store Manager, immediately stepped in, sincerely apologized, and took swift action to make things right. Martha went above and beyond by personally going into the bakery to ensure the order matched what we had originally discussed, and Brandon even delivered the corrected order himself. Thank you as well to Shannon, who quickly resolved an issue with the charge on my order. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but it's how they're handled that truly matters. The professionalism, accountability, and genuine care shown by Martha, Brandon, and Shannon turned a stressful situation into a positive one. While shopping in the refrigerated section, I found packaged hot dogs still displayed for sale with significant greenish/dark discoloration compared with the surrounding product. I took photos because the difference was immediately noticeable and concerning. I'm not a food inspector, and I'm not going to claim I know exactly what caused the discoloration. That's precisely why I think it deserves to be inspected by someone qualified to determine whether the product was safe, properly refrigerated, within date, and being handled according to food-safety standards. This wasn't a dented box or an item sitting on the wrong shelf. This was refrigerated food being offered for purchase that looked concerning enough that I wouldn't feel comfortable feeding it to my family. Walmart needs to take refrigerated food quality control seriously, and I believe this particular situation warrants review by the appropriate health department. Low prices and convenience mean very little if customers can't feel confident about the condition of the food on the shelves.

It's a well-maintained market, good produce and meat selection, sporadic surprise discounts on eggs, great bargains on weekly-ad items, and personable, mellow staff. Conversely, the service deli strikes me as small and lackluster. Plotted between 7th Street and Mae Anne on the northbound side of the west McCarran loop, and a hop-skip-jump from the USPS Washington station and I-80, this market screams, "LOCATION X3!"

He even explained to me how the muscles are formed and how it matters where you get a shot in the arm in order to make it as pain free as possible. When asked, he further patiently explained the probable reason why I may have felt more of a stinging sensation with the flu vaccine that I received a couple weeks prior by someone else. Between our vaccination experiences here and our interactions when getting prescriptions filled by various staff, we are super pleased with this Safeway Pharmacy.
