I really wish this spot had some prepared foods, like grab and go. I think it would be popular. I loved this market. Yummy snacks and Asian varieties of kitchen stuff. From medicine to plates. Deff coming back when I'm in the area next time.

Asian Mart is clean, spacious, and carry a good variety of fruits, veggies, and other goods that you would need to make Asian dishes. It's a great option for someone like me - who is used to large Asian markets like 99 Ranch or SF Market. Prices are decent, too! Glad there are plenty of parking spaces as well.

Boil boy has this place changed!!, For the better! Their new hours are from 9 AM to 9 PM and it's much larger with much much much more options than before! I used to come in here, and it was a little bit dark and kind of funky smelling with not a lot of stuff that I needed... So I would shop at multiple places. With the new ownership, I was literally able to get every single thing I needed and way more! They even have some Americanized items like Ben & Jerry's ice cream and sour cream, half-and-half, and things like that... They have definitely changed this a bit to accommodate both Asian and American markets! I got seven bags of groceries and walked out of there on 200! That is absolutely a steel with all of the items I got!! If you haven't been in here, a while, definitely check it out now!!! The service was outstanding. The food is fresh and definitely stocking its shelves with items myself and my family would use along with all of my Asian, friends and family. Love the new owners and the new look!

I usually go to yims but I find during their construction period they are lacking some products that I usually get there. I've been to Asian Mart a couple times over the years but I was not impressed with their variety or store. I unfortunately have purchased a couple of things that were expired. Today though I might be converted. They were well stocked and the store was clean. The isles were labeled and well stocked. Unfortunately I still bought something that was expired, but I should have checked. They had a variety of different Asian products that honestly I've not found anywhere else. They now sell tchotchkes like funko pops and different anime figurines. I'm not saying I won't stop going to Yims because they do sell products I couldn't find here but I might check Asian Mart first.

Love this asian mart. They carry such a huge variety of products. I wanted to make shabu shabu hot pot and they had everything I needed. It's nice to have a one stop shop. The service was great, the two nice ladies help me find certain products and prices. Highly recommended this place.

I come here very often because of the wide variety of veggies, meat, and snacks they carry. Ever since they changed owners, it has been a lot more organized and clean too. When entering, the food items are on the left and home goods on the right. The selection of veggies appear fresh most of the time. They have fresh meats in the far back, but I have not tried that service. This is a great place to buy snacks, however, I have noticed that they overprice the snacks by a lot compared to some other places. I found a couple of snacks that are $8.99 elsewhere, but they sell it for $13.99. Additionally, sometimes the tagged prices are not the same as the prices at checkout. If you do not pay attention, you might be getting ripped off certain things. Definitely, check the prices of things if you care about saving a couple dollars. The home items are what you would expect to find at an Asian marketplace. I bough glass bowls from them and they are amazing! I came back and bought more. The service is average here depending on the person at the cash register. They do work quick so you can get in and out of there quickly!

I haven't been here in awhile and decided to give it another chance. The first time was not impressive. Overpriced and if you are looking for fresh produce, this is not the place. The store was very dark walking in which already made me not want to be there. I continued to walk around looking for tofu and fresh produce. I found the tofu but found it difficult for me to pay $2.99 when it should be $1.79. Must items I looked at had the same markup so unless I really needed it, I would pass. There are very few Asian markets in the area so one just has to put up with it. I will continue to seek out other Asian markets.

I cannot say how much I love this place! Back in the day in the DMV we had an awesome H-Mart that was my asian mom's go-to place for all things (I used to driver her to it). This place has it all and for an AMAZING price point - periodt. This market totally is CEO! G.O.A.T.! They have EVERYTHING I need check the pic! We already ate half of the Rice Cracker-Nori and Shrimp Chips (oh return to Hawai'i). Everything you need and the meat and seafood gives a plethora of options. Bangin' ! The fun part is just wandering thu the various aisles and have an OMG look-look experience. Respect! Check the photo of my inventory - "I'll be back". I also hooked up with some rice flower top-notch I made noodles for a home made Pho and it worked perfectly thru my Atlas 150 . Old-school beauty, clean, great people and ohh-what-a-selection! High recommend!

After seeing some updated reviews showing new ownership, I decided to drag my husband here so I could check it out in comparison to other asian markets in town. I was fairly surprised to find the interior still fairly dark and the right side of the store felt pretty empty which makes it not as inviting, not to mention not much of a rice selection. I continued browsing and made my way over to the freezer and fridge section there. I was pleasantly surprised by all the variety that I don't seem to find (or see) at some of the other stores that I visited. It's also labelled by cuisine, so you have filipino, chinese, thai etc. which I found convenient. Also the butcher block was pretty cool! It looked really clean but there was no one there so it does make you wonder how long the fish and meat has been unthawed. If I had more energy, I would try my hand at some whole duck preparations! The produce section was okay, and didn't make me feel any sort of way. I felt the same way about the dry goods and non perishable stuff. Also felt like a lot of stock was missing, or not as big of a variety as other asian markets. Overall I would go back, especially if they restock. I did find some cool things like skewered whole calamari that I can't wait to grill this summer and some banana leaves so I can maybe make some Kalua pork at home! I think their strong suits are the freezer selection, which feels huge and unique, as well as the asian butcher block.

Wide variety of bunch of items like noodles, sauces and dried items. I found myself researching what some packaged items were as items are clearly directly imported from Asia. Housewares and interior decorations to back right of entrance. Lots of items to look at other than groceries. I liked how new flavors are incorporated with familiar products, notably the Lays potato chip flavors and those different flavors of ramen packages. Fun to explore the different flavor offerings.

Great Asian market off Moana in Reno. New owner and this place has shot up to 5 stars! Wide variety of food and home items. Heard today bakery is opening soon! Can't wait to try some Boba Tea.

I found myself out and about with just my son and and we both thought a char grilled kebab sounded like a fun dinner experiment. We popped in and found who were guessing is the owner's child at the register and placed our order for their signature kebab made from ground chicken and Afghani spices. The plate came with sumac spiked basmati rice, two pieces of the chicken kebab and a small green salad plus a green hot sauce. The kebab was tender and juicy with a great flavor profile and a nice bit of charcoal flavor. We thought the rice was actually exceptional light and fluffy with a hint of that citrus sea tang from the sumac, in a buttery finish, made this a nice light side to the kebab. The salad was fresh and crunchy with cucumber, lettuce, and bell peppers and that green hot sauce was really great and we used it as a dressing because the salad did not come with one. For $16 I just felt like the value was a bit often the plate needed at least one more piece of the kebab because when finished with a small tiny salad and the kebab, we were left with a mountain of rice and that is south wasteful. I just wish the plates here were a bit more valued oriented and I guess it will take more people eating here to kind of drive that up. Highly recommend giving it a try plus the market has some really fun fines too. Share your review and let me know what you think.

Pricing wise , I really can't tell as I do not go to Seafood city much, but I personally think the pricing here is decent especially with everything they have on inventory. It is pretty clean , organized , and easy to navigate certain sections. I also like that the restaurant is right next door if you are hungry and want to grab a meal. However I do think their selection is pretty limited with the basic: sinigang ang baboy and Longinisa with garlic fried rice. Also keep in mind if you are getting the sinigang it is about $17. Like I said, probably the closest store you will get to a seafood city and pretty well stocked of items. I do recommend checking this one out .

I have loved watching it evolve over the years,…read moreespecially the restaurant, which started as a small offering and has now really come into its own. We had to feed a crowd at home recently and Middle Eastern cuisine suited everyone's fancy, so naturally Aladdin's was the call. Using the online ordering system was simple, and the food was ready right on time. My only feedback is that the items don't all clearly describe what you get or how the dish comes, and so I added sauces thinking they came on the side but really came on top, and paid upcharges for things like pita, thinking they didn't come with it but then finding out they did and I just added a lot of extra. I ordered a few shawarma plates, an Aladdin combo, and hummus, falafel, and babaganoush appetizers. Everything was delicious, but some items were a bit surprising. The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

We were not disappointed! Here are a few things to know: - In addition to selling Mediterranean groceries, you can order at the register and there are several small tables so you can sit and eat. - I ordered the Gyro Sandwich, and my wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. Both were really good, and quite large...I, of course, polished my entire sandwich off and my wife took half home for later. - We've bought Greek cheeses, olives, bulghur, and spices at Aladdin's, both this time and in the past. It's the only place to find some of the things I need, and the prices are better on some things than even Amazon. - Service was really great. The person working let me wait to pay until after I had finished my grocery shopping, and she brought our food out to our table pretty quickly. Bottom line: Aladdin's is a go-to place for us...next time, we'll probably go again at a time which would let us enjoy lunch at the same time.
