My family and I really enjoyed Drumheller's. Food and service were great as well as the location!

Visited Drumheller's Food & Drink on a Saturday morning for brunch. Customer Service: We waited a few minutes at the host stand before anyone greeted us. The host mentioned a 5 to 10 minute wait without asking if we had a reservation. I had to bring it up myself, and only then were we seated right away. Wait Time: After placing our order at 10:22 am our food didn't arrive until 10:52 am. The 30-minute wait felt unusually long compared to other brunch spots. Food: We ordered the Palouse Egg Benedict and Columbia Valley Omelet. Unfortunately, both were underwhelming. The potatoes were bland and tasted like they came from a frozen bag. The omelet eggs were overcooked, and the Benedict lacked flavor. We had to add salt and pepper to bring any life to the dishes. The server didn't check on us once after our food arrived, especially after we told her we are on a tight schedule and took care of the check before food came. Ambiance: The best part of the experience was the view. The restaurant sits right in front of the Columbia River, which is beautiful and makes for a relaxing setting. It's a nice spot to grab a drink and enjoy the scenery, but I wouldn't return for the food. read more

Painfully slow service. Waiting to be seated on Saturday for brunch. Staff walking around but no one cared to seat us. We waited 10min and the restaurant was not busy at all. Finally got seated, phew! Menu had a good variety for brunch. Portions are smaller. I had the eggs Benedict with country style potatoes. Very dry eggs over cooked, salty potatoes. Coffee was very poorly made. I get it they have room service orders to fulfill as well but may need to increase their headcount on weekends to be able to meet customer requirements and expectations. Restaurant is located in the hotel lobby and has a nice view of the Columbia river. read more

We're staying at the Lodge and ordered room service; hugely dissatisfied with the service, the Benedict was delivered lukewarm, missing utensils, missing cream and sugar for the coffee and missing napkins! After calling to report our disappointment, the woman who arrived clearly didn't give a rip about our concerns. Really great meal! We went to Drumheller and the food was underwhelming however this time was a totally different experience. We had the charcuterie with bread service and flank steak and all were absolutely top notch. The butter for the bread was so yummy. The charcuterie was excellent; very thoughtful in flavor profiles with a great variety of meat and cheese with the green olives stealing the show. The flank steak had a chimchurri sauce that was fresh and flavorful and the potatoes were fingering and multicolored with this amazing sour cream sauce. All screamed not made by any chef in the TriCities and sure enough Chef Chris came out and intro himself. All was made with love and tasty! My new favorite spot! read more

Staying at the Lodge so we tried to eat there for breakfast twice. On the first morning my wife's eggs were completely inedible. She told the server, but the server didn't seem to care and didn't make any adjustments to our bill. The second morning, as someone was preparing to seat us, one of the other servers came running up and screamed, "Ten minute wait! Backed up in the kitchen!" This, despite the fact that the dining room was half full. The correct move was to offer us a table and some coffee and politely let us know that there might be a delay. We decided to not even bother. Two rather major fails for what should be the best restaurant in Richland. We won't make that same mistake a third time tomorrow. UPDATE: After my wife responded directly to a survey from The Lodge, management was gracious enough to comp us our entire breakfast. read more

Went there for the first time and the food was amazing, however the service was a little slow. Had to flag down a waitress to get a coffee refill and then again to ask for the check. Highly recommend order the food the way you like it and they will serve it that way! Make friends with the servers and the hostesses! They are all very friendly and wonderful. The place is being renovated so my experience was a little strange. The menu is limited, they're cooking from a food truck, and there's no dishwasher so they're serving on plastic. But my waitress was very kind and explained the whole situation. I was also the only one in the restaurant so I had excellent service. I had the prawn and grits. The flavors were good and the prawns were headless, tail on and well cooked. But the grits were lacking both in texture and quantity. The reason to come would be for the ambiance looking over the River and the fire. But the food is just okay. read more

We had breakfast and dinner here during our stay. The breakfast was great, I had the omelette and was pleasantly surprised by how crispy the potatoes were. Just make sure you aren't in a hurry. Service staff were friendly but it took a while for food to come. The coffee wasn't very good. My 3 star review was primarily because of the dinner. We choose to eat dinner here during our stay because of the Wednesday Date Night Special for $50 "advertised" on their website. When we were seated the hostess didn't have any drink menus and it was like a dear in headlights when I asked about the Wednesday Date Night Menu. Our server, who turned out to be the recently promoted manager came shortly thereafter to take our drink order, which was hard to do without a drink menu, lol. When I asked about the Wednesday date night menu he didn't know right away but asked the chef and found out that special ended when they changed the menu....in early June...we eat here on 8/14/24 so by my math that was 10 weeks ago and the special is still being advertised on your website and your staff didn't know that ended????? Despite the slow service, everyone was friendly and there was a big group dining that night which I'm guessing took a toll on the kitchen and staff. The food was hit and miss. The bread served was a roll that was only slightly warm. My berry and mascarpone salad was decent but I would have liked more dressing. My wife's market salad was good with some fresh vegetables we weren't quite sure what everything was. My pork loin was fabulous, with 2 generous pork chops and vegetables that were unique and good. The miss was my wife's shrimp which tasted like the ones that come from a shrimp cocktail heated up, and the risotto was undercooked. The manager gave us a complementary dessert for not having the date night menu, which was unnecessary but appreciated. In short, I'd come back for breakfast when I have plenty of time to kill and for dinner if I don't want to leave the hotel, I'll be eating off the bar menu. read more

I made a reservation on impulse on 2/27/2025, just for myself after a long day on business travel. I made a reservation for 6:30PM with Open Table. I arrive early but it was a light night. The hostess gave me the option of a window seat, which I selected. The restaurant is located in through the lobby of the Lodge hotel...very nice setting. Soft lighting but not too dark. The menu was limited in selection: steak, chicken and salmon were the prime entrees. I started with a smoked Old Fashioned. It was excellent. Made perfect with the smoke accompanying each sip. I followed this with a caesar salad, which was simple but had an outstanding presentation. I selected the steelhead salmon as my main course. It was the best I have ever had. Cooked to perfection with a delicious sauce over fingerling potatoes. Each bite was favorable, tender and retained its warmth from start to finish. My compliments to the chef. I had the affogato (decaf) with chocolate and carmel; it was the perfect end of a perfect meal. Parking: My hotel was across the street, so no issues is parking. Service was outstanding, attentive but not hovering. I was in Richland for all week and this was the best meal of the trip. read more

Tbh I was shocked by how good this place would be. It's located inside The Lodge hotel which is super fancy & clean btw. My friend and I both ordered Benedict's, OJ, and tea. The eggs were perfectly poached, potatoes were crispy and not too salty, the orange juice was freshly squeezed, and the red nectar tea was unique but yummy. You could refill your tea as much as you like which was nice. The waitresses that worked here were so sweet and friendly and love striking up conversation. Very personable people and it didn't seem fake. I def recommend this place for the quality of food, cleanliness, & customer service that you get here! Also this place has Cholula, idk why but I legit struggle to find cholula outside of SoCal so it was nice that they had it here read more

Had Valentines dinner at the Lodge over the weekend. The food and service met all expectations! The filet was cooked to perfection, the gnocchi light and fluffy, the carrot soup mouthwatering. It was the perfect meal to share with my sweetheart. Kathryn was our server and she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall a memorable meal. Would recommend the holiday dining experiences any time! Oh and the themed cocktails were the cherry on top. read more

We made a reservation and glad we did. It was pretty busy on a Friday night. Lots of large groups so we were happy we reserved a table for just the two of us. Our waiter Daniel was excellent. He checked on us numerous times and was always available despite how busy the night was. We ordered the steelhead and the scallops. The steelhead was amazing. I would order it again, the fish paired with the mashed potato and kale base was such a good combination. The scallops were a little bit disappointing. For $44 you'd expect more than 3 1/2 scallops. The scallops were cooked to perfection, they had a golden color to them. But paying $44 for mostly a pea risotto is disappointing. The risotto was flavorless and the bright green color isn't the most appealing. If we happen to find ourselves out in the area again, we would visit and get the steelhead again because it was definitely one of the best combinations we've ever had. read more

Much much better. Our second visit to Drumheller's was so much better than our first visit. Again we visited on a Saturday. We were promptly seated by Alexandra, provided water, and hot drinks while we perused the menu. We ordered and while waiting our drinks were refilled. Breakfast came and again drinks refreshed. My omelet was very good and my wife liked her pancakes. The plating was very nice. We were in and out in less than 40 minutes. We will come again. read more

Beautiful and cozy restaurant that overlooks the river waterfront. We technically wined/dined here on 3 occasions and here was my experience: ROOM SERVICE: Food came up in a timely manner. -BOSC PEAR AND CAMBOZOLA (GF) SALAD $13: This salad came with Toasted Walnut, Crisp Prosciutto, Arugula, White Balsamic & Thyme Vinaigrette. Overall, this was small and just okay for me. -CARBONARA $26: This pasta dish comes with Linguini, Guanciale, and Pecorino Romano. This was okay for me as well. -CHICKEN TENDERS AND FRIES (Kid's Menu): Comes with 3 Chicken tenders and skinny fries. This was great and would order this again! BREAKFAST DINE-IN: Service was great! -PALOUSE EGGS BENEDICT $16: This came with Carved Ham, Poached Eggs, Hollandaise, English Muffin, and Country Potatoes. Overall this was great, but I would tell them to ease up on the salt as I found it to be slightly on the salty side for my personal preference. -RIVERBEND AVOCADO BENEDICT  $17: This came with Marinated Tomatoes, Poached Eggs, Peppadews, Gouda, English Muffin, Country Potatoes. Overall this was great, but same thing for the salt for my own personal preference. -FRESH SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE $5: Definitely freshly squeezed with minimal pulp. Very refreshing to start off your morning. BAR: -FREE WINE TASTING: During our stay, they were hosting a free wine tasting. I asked Chase (the bartender) what that included and he said "I don't know this is the first time I'm doing this." Weird. Later, I asked the front desk and it included 2 pours, awesome! My husband and I looked forward to enjoying something within the lodge without having to go out in the cold weather. I got our first pour which was a lovely rosé. When my husband went to get the second pour, Chase told him sorry they ran out. Considering it was 5:30pm and the tasting was supposed to go from 5-6:30pm, we thought that was strange since you can literally see bottles of different wines on display. I asked the front desk and they said that didn't sound right. After contacting the manager and Chase being told to pour another replacement, Chase rudely poured me another small pour and said "they only gave me one bottle of the chardonnay" and "here's that rosé again." SO RUDE and awkward that it was the same pour, and that the second pour was significantly less. Maybe he got mad that I asked about it and got him in trouble? Not sure, either way he should have asked his supervisor what to do if things ran out instead of turning us and other parties away. The ladies at the front desk checked back in with me later and I just said it's weird to get the same pour twice when it's a "tasting." I think he overheard because he came back and told the ladies that I actually got a pink chardonnay... either way, he either informed me wrong and he was so stinking rude about it or lied. Will not be dining here again based on the bar experience. For dining, the price is a little high for food that just is okay to me. I'd rather dine in for breakfast than dinner even though the ambiance is great in the evening. read more

Nice place, attentive staff. Not the best place to eat at with food sensitivities. Reason being is the food is far from simple, everything seems to have wheat or dairy involved somehow. Went for Christmas dinner. The four course dinner seemed appealing, although somewhat pricey at $79 per person. We arrived and everything looked promising. Live music was playing, etc. The 1st course arrived and it was a good tasting soup, although it could of been warmer. The bread was one roll each and it had been baked at least a day ago. The 2nd coarse was a salad that tasted good, was just missing the croutons the menu stated it was suppose to have. The 3rd course was the main entree. Both of us got a different entree and both were cold to the touch. We asked our server to bring out another plate and that one was the same, cold to the touch. We spoke to the manager and he offered to cover our bill since our meal wasn't up to standards. This restaurant has so much potential. However, it fails in two aspects. All the food has to be hand carried from upstairs, which by the way it is carried uncovered. Secondly, the Christmas dinner wasn't cooked to order. It was either all made ahead of time and plated as everything was cold or luke warm at best. At $79 a plate this Christmas dinner was way overpriced and a total failure. read more

We sat outside and enjoyed a very pleasant brunch. The food and drinks were excellent, as was our service, by James. We checked in to The Lodge hotel. This restaurant handles their meal and in room orders. Room service -Speaking to Becca in room service I ordered a ribeye medium. I asked for fries instead of mashed potatoes and asked her for sauces. She states "we only have ketchup", I then ask, well is the harissa sauce available that shows on the menu? She states "I'll see if it's available". Why is it on the menu for two items if it's not available? Are you only giving ketchup to people that expect harissa sauce? I then ask about wine. That takes a bit more of back and forth that I was surprised about for a wine emphasized hotel. Food arrives. Cold. Ribeye is not seared. It's grayish in color. There is no sauce or ketchup for the fries. There is no wine. So, I call room service there is a blaming game. Becca blames the "new" person making delivery's. I felt so bad. There is no blame on the delivery person. There is blame on the person taking and plating the order. Which means YOU Becca. AND why Becca is there two items on the very limited menu that have this sauce but you deny the request? This makes me more angry than most of the rest of my review. The restaurant is touted as a high end restaurant. But they only have ketchup. Hmmmmm. At this point I'm realizing this hotel thinks they are special and they don't care about the customer. Becca made that clear. The blame game is shameful. Accept the mistake and make it right. Obviously this restaurant doesn't get the need to actually be good with customer service OR food. You are not special. You pretend to be but your service is epically bad. So continue on. You'll be closed soon with your horrible management. Worst ribeye and customer service of my life. I shouldn't ever have to call room service back ever. You deliver it all with extra accoutrements to ensure it's hot and epic and delicious. read more

Not so great. Touted as a nice restaurant in the nicest hotel in town I was surprised by the stark overall environment. Not upscale at all. Nice view of the River, I'll grant you that. Service was a bright spot and the wine recommendation was good. The food though, the primary purpose of the place was lacking in my view. A signature dish, Chicken Cordon Gold was not as expected. A dry boneless chicken breast with some ham on top capped with some melted cheese. Please, give me the original rather than this interpretation. read more

Ate here tonight on business. Trying something new for me in tri cities. I had the fillet. Asked for med rare got med. It was still a good steak, just a little done for me. My server Luis did a good job telling me everything was al a carte so I ordered a salad with my steak and went without the veggie sides. Had a glass of house cab. All in all 60 dollars for dinner after tip and tax, no desert. Plan on 75 to 85 a person if you are having a salad, 1 side, 1 drink, a main as well as dessert each. Nice view. A positive note is I saw one of the owners trying to make a situation right for another patron . Man with a ball cap was kind, emphatic, and genuine. Made me up my review 1 star for exceptional leadership. That lady didn't ask for anything and they were willing to take care of her anyway. Her server took it right to the leader who could fix the issue, or at least try to. Outstanding service. Don't know what her specific issue was with the sauce on the shrimp fettuccine was, but my steak was a little over cooked, maybe a few strings to tie up in the kitchen? Still going to eat here again.
