Given we were here for a weekend, we figured it's safest to put in a reservation. I ordered an Orange Grove (non-alcoholic) which has Juniper gin, Bella Aperitif, orange & lemon juice and infused Mighty Leaf Ginger Twist tea syrup. It was so refreshing and delightful! Absolutely gorgeous flavour that tastes like really fresh clementine juice. We got a dozen East Coast oysters to enjoy. Each were beautifully plump, fresh, and a lovely flavour. The accompanying classic shallot mignonette and horseradish were fantastic. For mains, I actually ordered the fritto misto di mare appetizer. It has fried shrimp, scallops, calamari, lemon and caper berries with caper-tarragon aïoli. I don't know if you're meant to eat the lemons and carpers too but I did and it was so delicious. This seemed to annoy the young lady. Our waitress never introduced herself, and we seemed to be bothering her the entire time by just sitting there. We never asked for a refill, any special accommodations to our food. We were polite, said yes ma'am, please and thank you. She never once refilled our drinks, seemed to be annoyed when she offered us dessert and we asked what they had. She did hand the table next to us free cannolis for their anniversary . (We're not upset we didn't get anything free... we just wanted a pleasant experience.) She only became polite when it came time for the bill since she probably wanted a nice tip.
