This review is for the Pharmacy, the rest of the store is great! You think I would learn to always call to make sure your prescription is ready but when you call you then get put on hold for a long time. More than once I have been told the prescription wasn't ready even though it was called in 24 hours ago. I then get told they are working on it now but need another 30 minutes. I'm thinking my order just got moved up or the store is thinking I'll spend 30 minutes buying stuff in the store. Hire some more staff! read more

The review is specifically for the store staff. We went in to use our $6 off $30 coupon and saw a deal on cereal. The staff, specifically Steve, were super helpful in assisting us and trying to help us get the best deal. He spent far more time helping us than I expected and was positive and accomandating the entire time. There were 3 techs there and not one addressed the fact that I was waiting for over 5 mins then when I finally got helped she couldn't find my name and was to lazy to look it up through my birthday in the system and kept asking me non sense questions. The people who work in the store are great. 99% of the time I'm hear inform ice cream cones after my daughter has a great softball practice. It has to be a major pain in the but for cashiers or floor people to jump behind d the ice cream line while still being responsible for their "real" jobs. When we stopped in for our treat today, the line to pay was crazy long. The line for ice cream was pretty deep too. I could see people getting cranky and getting rude with the cashier. It turns out that she was alone and the only other employee scheduled was on her CA Mandatory lunch break. The issue is absolutely not with the staff. Absolutely hate this pharmacy!! We get calls that our prescription is ready, but when we get there they don't have it ready! Then we go back home and receive another phone call that it's ready! The pharmacist are incredibly rude! We also get our shots there. The store is almost empty and they keep us waiting for over an hour. There's been so much more that has gone on. If I can give a zero I would. This pharmacy lacks any kind of customer service. My husband had an insulin order placed. They told us to come back after 6pm, when he went he was told they didn't have any and if he could come back the next day at 6pm. He explained to them respectfully that he truly needed his insulin. After 2 attempts of them saying they didn't have it, ALL of a sudden they had produced it miraculously. WTH? So after saying they didn't have it, all of a sudden they got it. Worst Rite aid. I live close to here and always go to CVS. I changed my prescriptions and only go when I give in to the kids that want ice-cream. Even a quick stop for ice-cream is a negative experience. The cashiers are rude, no communication at all. Not even eye contact. There store is poorly stocked. Boxes every where and you have to make sure they ring up the right prices. Twice I have over paid for random things. This place sucks. read more

I used to be a big fan of rite aid, but I think as a chain they are really going down hill. First of all, I've been in 3 or 4 different times trying to pick up medications for me and my wife. Every time they have been out of diet pepsi. How do you not stock that? The pharmacy is equally as useless. There are always 3 or 4 people working and only one working a register. That person has to take care of both the in store customers and the drive through. Each time I've been in here the wait has been horrendous for prescriptions I had refilled online. The final straw was tonight when I went with my wife to pick up some prescription cough syrup. We went through the drive through because she wasn't feeling well. There were 3 cars in front of us. We sat there for 15 min and not one car had moved. We gave up and will try again tomorrow. I will be transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy. This place is a joke. read more

Came here on Mother's day at night with the family to get some ice cream. The guy working the ice cream counter was super nice and helpful! The double scoop cones are $2 or $2.50 I believe but it's a deal! Because the guy really gave about four scoops! (would put a scoop of your first flavor, then another half scoop of it. Then repeat with the second flavor!) And did I mention the ice cream was delicious?! Will probably be coming back within the next few days. read more

Being "short handed" (their excuse) is challenging, no argument. However, being made to wait literally 9.5 hours for an antibiotic Rx to be ready is excessive and ridiculous! Honestly, this pharmacy is one of the worst! I do think they try, but they just fall so short too often! read more

I called in a prescription refill, It had been a few years since I needed it so they didn't even call the doctor. (They could have renewed it over the phone but i guess they are lazy) Then I really needed it but it was the weekend and they wouldn't even lend me a few until the Monday!! The pharmacy here is awful. Really bad customer service. I went to the drive thru to pick up my 1 medication Sunday early evening (last night 1 hour prior to the closing) which they advised me was ready the day prior. I was the only car in the drive thru. There was a guy counting the money in the register right at the window but for over 5 minutes he didn't say a word and completely ignore me!!! So rude! Management needs to retrain the employees, at least this young guy who didn't seem to know anything and was oblivious to anyone and anything. I being getting my prescription at this location for 13 years, my insurance tried changing my prescription location several times, however the service my family and I received at this location is unmatched. They provide excellent customer service and whenever there is an issue with my prescription, they quickly call my physician and myself to notify me or update me of any changes. The staff goes out of their way to make sure that we are well informed. Every one that works at this location is friendly, professional and efficient. I grew up around this area, my aunt has taken me to this place since I was 5. So me and my sister decided to take our 5 year old niece here to get some ice cream. We went to the back and chose our flavors and came to the front to pay, my sister had ran back to the car to get the money, as I walked up a older lady had called me up So I went up to pay for mine, She then informed me about the deal buy one get one free. So I had said okay I'll let my sister know when she comes back. Then this older lady decided to be really rude and ask for my number and I was already shocked by her tone of voice she was using with a customer then I said no I don't have one and I don't know if my sister has one either. She then slightly raised her voice at me and said "well I mean if you guys are buying ice cream here someone must have a card" and threw her hands up in the air as if I was stupid. And then glared at me. My sister came in and I asked her for her # and then she was able to get it. This older lady kept glaring at me. Then my sister had sent me back to get another tub since it was buy one get one free, so I ended up getting the wrong one accidentally, so when I walked out to parking I realized and walked back in and asked a lady who was coming out who worked there and I told her I needed to exchange this and she said okay? As in If I was stupid, then I went back and got what I needed came back to the front and I said "excuse me" to the older lady and a oriental woman who were actually talking negative about rite aid, and the oriental woman responded "what" in a rude way, I said " I'm sorry is that how you treat someone who has a question " and then she glared as well. I used to actually like this location and they have filled our prescriptions for 9 years but as I sit here waiting for even a hello from the pharmacy tech I am over it. If the store opens at 8:00 they should be ready to do business at 8:00. I know it's only a few minutes but at the same time the service has gotten progressively worse and the store is no ping a go to for any medical needs. I live close to this Rite Aid so this is the one I go to for my prescriptions. I have never met more incompetent employees in a Pharmacy. The Pharmacist obviously hates his job. Every time I go in there they are either grumpy or not helpful. There are one or two ladies who are helpful. Otherwise I get blank stares, grunts and no help. Example #1. Saturday morning I rang in a prescription. The guy said it would be in by Tuesday. So Tuesday morning I'm there at 8am before work to pick up my prescription. No prescription. Great. So I'm late for work and still have no RX. The lady said "oh, come back at 4pm". She said prescriptions arrive by 4pm. It would have been nice if the guy had told me that on the phone! Example #2. Saturday when I rang up the guy left me on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up and rang back. I asked the guy what happened. "Oh, sorry I forgot to pick up the phone". Example #3. I asked the pharmacist which OTC medication I should use for said ailment. He grunted, gave me a look and waved to a section of the store to look at. Not helpful when there are hundreds of types of pills in that section of the store! I have had so many problems at this pharmacy. I only go here because its close to home. They really need to up the ante though and have some training sessions and get a nicer pharmacist. Its a pharmacist's job to care about people! This pharmacist is consistently grumpy!! Five people working in the pharmacy. Only one working the drive through and handling the indoor window. Tired of this. Happens often

My Husband has Alzheimer's & Parkinson's. He wanted to go out for lunch. I told him that we needed to stop at Rite Aid to get a flu shot. I called to see if they were giving shots and they said to come on in. We went down and there was a line at the pharmacy. While we were waiting in line, a woman came in and walk right past the line to the front desk. She asked if they gave flu shots, the girl said yes and handed her the paperwork to fill out. I informed them both that we were there for the same thing and had been waiting in line for our turn. Finally after waiting in line they gave us the paperwork to fill out. When it came our turn for the shots, they took the woman that butted in front of us first, because she had filled out the paperwork before us! They told us it would be 30 minutes before we'd get our shots because they had other customers! We then waited a full 2 hours. My husband was getting agitated, and I was getting extremely angry. Then the pharmacist lied to us and said that the Woman had called first, and had brought the filled out forms in with her. That was a bold faced lie, because I spoke to the woman while we were waiting, and she said that she had been to several other pharmacy's trying to find who carried the new Shingles vaccine and simply came in to ask a question. I was unaware that there was a new Shingles Vaccine, and requested that my husband and I both get one. The pharmacist said that the woman before us got the last one that they had! I've been going to this particular Rite Aid since they opened, the woman who butted in front of us had never even been in that store! read more

After having terrible service at another pharmacy, I used the drive through pharmacy at this Rite Aid twice, and I love it! I don't have health insurance (instead, we are part of a medical sharing group which excludes prescription meds.) I use a free discount card, and both times I've dropped off prescriptions, the pharmacists have offered to to look up my card's discount and Rite Aid's discount for those w/out insurance, and to charge whichever one is less. Two different employees did this on separate occasions; these rxs were for my child and I never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes for the rx to be filled. read more

Omg! The worst service ever! The pharmacy is a joke! We are new in the area this store is less than a mile away. How convenient so we thought The 1st time they only gave us half of the medz and had to wait 2 days for the other half. The 2nd time we went to get medz for my diabetic father and I'll be damaged they were playing with that script too 3 days and still had to go and get the script from them bc they had no clue. All the while people are there trying to get there script fill or picked up and nothing but excuses for those poor people too. SHAME on them for playing with people's medz like that!!
