I usually don't leave reviews anymore and especially negative ones. However, the attempt to get my Covid vaccine has been the worst pharmacy experience I've had. My interaction today with the pharmacist was one of the most rude experiences I've faced in healthcare. She made it seem like it was an inconvenience to ask any questions, as they were going to close in the next hour (it was 1:07pm and she made it a point to mention that she didn't have time for me as they were closing for whatever unmentioned reason at 2pm). She was extremely rude to the other customers/patients, rude to me about asking insurance questions. I actually had to come back to which apparently was their actual closing (at 5:45pm, however they supposedly close at 6pm.) I could have been told to return prior to a certain time than to be denied twice in one day. Upon returning, she was still rude. This time I witnessed her talk down/command to an employee in front of the entire line. Additionally, I know I shouldn't be hearing any other patient's information/prescription instructions. There was no discretion upon her speaking to patients. I understand that bad days happen, we all have them...but this is absolutely not okay. Treat your employees and clients with dignity and respect. If you work with people, do well. If you work in healthcare, do better. read more

I HATE this pharmacy!!! They keep playing doctor when it comes to my prescription and i am so sick of their arrogance!!! My prescription are coming from reputable UCLA doctors and they have it out for me here at this location and find bs excuses to not fill my prescriptions ever since i called them out for lying to me about a medication being "out of stock" for 2 months! Very convenient location with a wide variety of classic drug store items and some pleasant surprises thrown in. The parking lot is ample. The waiting area in the pharmacy could use a bit of cleaning up. The fabric chairs need to be cleaned and/or replaced and the floor needs mopping. The rest of the store is clean and neat. UPDATE: I posted the above review 24 hours ago. I've since come back to pick something up and the pictures I've added to my review show items that were there yesterday, showing that there is no cleaning going on in the pharmacy waiting room. This Rite Aid pharmacy has a rude person who answers the phone with an attitude. Usually when you call in and ask for your Rx to be delivered, they would set it up. But this she tells me that I have to call back in the morning to confirm that it will be delivered. Also, she said it's for my card number. I ask what card number? She kept cutting me off instead of listening to what I was asking or saying. After this Rx is delivered, I'm going to find another pharmacy. Very disappointed. At least the Rite Aid pharmacy in Northern California is considered it, courtesy and listens!!! read more

We love coming to this rite aid location because it is always a pleasant experience. We always find our pharmaceutical needs and it is the only location that is always stocked up on all the rite aid brand ice cream with a wide variety of flavors. The rite aid here sucks they don't even have cat food like at all so I had to buy sardines the price on the shelf said 1$ so I bought it I got home and come to find out they charged me 2.69 for the sardines when the price was advertised something else then today I went to check the advertising and they have a completely different item then the one advertised. So basically it said the brand of the sardines which they no longer had in stock. I looked around for the price they had charged me for the item not a single match where are they getting these prices from ? Why are the products placed on the wrong advertised shelf they do it to make more money of the stupid customer in this case me and why are there no products the sardines can was also the last one on the shelf. And it was placed on the wrong shelf. Why can't you update your products ? You already have minimal selection. Is there not enough time or not enough employees ? I was also looking for a cream that I could not find I had to take my business to vons which I paid almost 13$ for my Eucerin cream. This location is straight garbage. The doctor sent a request for my medication at 10 am, went to pick it up at 430pm after work, and was told "it hasnt been processed yet." Read that again, 6 1/2 hours later, and the medication hasn't been processed yet? No response, no text, and meds weren't ready until the next day. The location on Laurel Canyon and Rinaldi will have it all done within 30 min. Look at all the bad reviews. How is this location allowed to stay open? They make up their own rules, and the employees take their time on urgent orders. Imagine coming out of surgery and needing meds within 1-2 hours when the ones in your system wear off to getting the new ones 24 hours later. How is that ethical? read more

Not a bad place to get last minute items. It's not my favorite drug store but it'll do with the convenient location. The pharmacy has great service although it took 3+ hours for my prescription to get filled, but I don't fully know what goes on behind the scenes to make that assumption so I'm sure it must have been a busy day. Go anywhere else for Covid testing. I showed up early and they told me to keep looping to the end of the drive through line and they would not help me unless no cars were behind me. The pharmacist was on a complete power trip. Dodgers stadium testing was a breeze. They care about what's important...getting people tested...not imposing unnecessary time constraints like Rite Aid. And the results come back faster than rite aid. You can also expect to wait about 10 minutes in the checkout line before they decide its time to open a second register. I chose this location because it's close to my home after surgery. I typically go to CVS in Van Nuys who always go out of their way for customers. This is not Rite Aids policy. I'm currently at the hospital waiting to be released. One of the conditions of release by the hospital is that my husband pick up my medications before hand. It's the time of COVID, my husband can not come into the hospital with me. I also needed my ID to process paperwork AT the hospital. Now I get be in pain waiting for them to let me pick up a prescription that any other pharmacy would have allowed my husband pick up with his ID. Same last name, same address. Perhaps a little foresight knowing that you're not allowed someone at the hospital with you. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Lesson learned. Always go to CVS. read more

My quick go to for stuff I am low, or out of. Friendly and weloming staff. Ample parking. And my fav., ability to get in and out of there in a jiffy. Well stocked with practically everything minus freshly made take out. So for last minute calls like Remy Martin, to a wide variety of otc and prescribed medication, wine, beer, snacks, chips, ice cream (Thrifty), chocolates etc. Really happy with Riteaid! Overall, I give this place a top notch 5. Additionally, highly recommended. Keep up the great job guys!!! Will be back for many years to come. read more

The service here was horrible!!! I went to get packaging for my baby nephew for his Easter basket and so I asked the the manager if I could refund it without the packaging and he said you could! So I took it to the car and took off the package wrap put it in my car so I went to the refund and I gave the lady my Package to refund. She told me " We can't sell it if it dosent have the package!!" Plenty of parking, each visit I have been here that has never been an issue. The location itself has multiple access points for vehicles to come in and out. When you walk into the store, it's like every other Rite Aid location, nothing different, same lay out. Every items I looked for was easy to spot thanks to the signs that indicate each section of the store. When it comes to checking out, they dedicate store workers to make sure you don't stand in check out line to long. Each time I checked out, I never waited more than 3 mins to reach a cashier. read more

Their customer service/awareness could improve a bit. The store is waaaay cleaner and appealing aesthetically than their prior location on Gladstone. They still have Thrifty's ice cream which is a huge plus. Their prices are a little more expensive than Target. Their parking lot is open and easily accessible, plus they have a drive-thru pharmacy (another huge plus). read more

I've had several trips to the pharmacy here and it has gotten so much better! All my prescriptions come in the white bags. I've noticed that the wait times have shortened as well. I love the selection for vitamins although my favorite options go by fast since they usually have them at unbeatable prices (bogo free). They have some really awesome make up brands and I just saw this location add two more brands to their selection: Elf and I forgot the name of the other one but it starts with a K. Its normal to see brands such as Maybelline, Revlon, and Wet n Wild at bogo 50% off. Sometimes I just go down the make up aisles to admire everything. They have a small selection on press on nails but it is curated very well. Their selection of Freeman's Mask tends to be cheaper than most other locations. Their photo services are great. I've had to make some prints several times and it's always been a breeze. The photo kiosk is generally easy to manage and is user friendly. They have a great selection on ice cream, and let me tell you, it has always been worth the wait. I know sometime sin the afternoons and evenings it can get a little long to wait but it's always worth it! I'd give this pharmacy a negative 5 star rating if I could. The pharmacy staff here are inept. Argumentative. Rude. Smug. Disfunction starts at the top. They fail in customer service, at every level. I have filed a complaint with the Dept. of Consumers Affairs. (pharmacology section) They filled a prescription according to their own will. My doctor prescribed 150 pills. My doctor and I discussed, in his office, why and how I would administer my medication. This pharmacist elected to supersede the doctors orders on the written prescription and filled it according his own desire; as if he had prescribed the medication. This 'slap' move was...I believe, because I became agitated with the clerical staff...who was extremely inept. They always are. Now I have to clean up their mess. I have to prove to another pharmacy why I need those pills they short changed me. (and for the refills too) Another doctors visit could possibly remedy the situation. I would, of course, need to pay for another visit...explain to the Doctor the situation. What a waste of all our time + money. All because this Rite Aid pharmacy chose to be obnoxious. read more

Slowest pharmacy ever. Call it in at 9 am. Recording tells you it will be ready at noon, showed up after work at 6 to pick it up and I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. They don't start filling your prescriptions until you show up to pick them up. Always long lines. They are very understaffed. This isn't the first time this has happened. Over it! The manager Yolanda is always so nice and pleasant to deal with, she always so nice to my kids as well and trust me they are hard to handle especially in a store. I come here because it's close by my home, but the lines are always so long. The tellers seem nice but there's not enough of them, and their a bit slow, which is understandable when your over worked and short staffed. The pharmacy is another thing. The medicine is never ready on time, and I take medicine monthly and they are always changing my fill date. Two months ago it was on the 14th last month it was the 16th and now they said they'll fill it out on the 19th. It's like their fucking with me. I'm gonna change pharmacy's to a mom and pop shop. It's easier on the stress levels lol. Other than that the store prices are expensive their only cheap thing is beer.
