This rite aid was okay for a solid year, including most of covid. In the last couple months their pharmacy has been a mess. I have been randomly signed up for auto refills on some prescriptions and not others. No idea why, since I don't recall ever requesting that on any of my meds. Worse is the communication skills. I prefer to call in my refills because the website is worse than the store and obviously I don't trust the automated refill system. On top of the fact that roughly 75% of the time the person answering the phone sounds like they hate me for calling, the last several times I've called in refills I've been told 2 hours, 4 hours, etc. Thats fine for acwait time - if it's true. It hasn't been true. I am writing this in my car as I wait another 30 minutes for a scrip I called in 3.5 hours ago and was told would be ready in 2 hours. I planned my night around picking this up. And now I will be late. If I could change to Walgreens or cvs I absolutely would. I highly recommend going somewhere not here. read more

This is where I do all of my grocery shopping. Every item in my household has come from the Rite Aid on the westside. The only problem being when I needed a new bookshelf but luckily they had these curio cabinets that seemed to work. I went to the drive thru to pick up my prescription and not once did Heather seem friendly. I smiled, thanked her and told her to have a pleasant day. All she did was stare back at me. Not exactly good customer service. I get having a bad day, but that was terrible. No need to fake a smile, but saying have a good day or even a simple thanks would suffice. read more

This pharmacy is the worst I have ever been to. I have at least five stories where I have gone without medications due to their bad customer service. Once, I went to pick up a prescription that had been called in hours before and was told it had never been processed. When I came back after work, they told me I couldn't have the inhaler because I don't have a prescription, when they were looking at an old inhaler I haven't picked up for years. Another time, a new person was having difficulty with the register bringing up my information so she brought an old, rude lady whose idea of helping was walking over for two seconds to look up and bark "You need a prescription for Quvar!" and quickly walk away. Not once did I ask them for Quvar... and it would have been nice if she just listened for ONCE so I didn't have to spend all day in the store. That same old lady has moved on to another customer before I finished one sentence. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated from anyone regardless of age. Sometimes prescriptions expire, that is understandable. But instead of telling me my prescription has expired, they told me they would get right on it. When I arrived, it was not ready and I was told it had never gotten processed. So annoyed I decided to pick it up after work. Now that it is well after doctor hours, I get to spend an hour in the pharmacy arguing about what is going on. I was treated like a criminal for trying to pick up my inhaler and birth control and got no help from anyone. I will never go to this store again. BUT the Rite Aid pharmacy on Martin Way is so fast and friendly! I'm so glad I moved from these jerks and that pissy old lady. read more

I shop here frequently and every time I go I have great customer service. The customer service alone keeps me coming back. I visited this location a couple nights ago and a gentleman help me, said he was new here however; because of our interaction I would've never guessed that he was new. Tonight I return to buy a few other things and a lady whose help me multiple times checked me out she is always very friendly and helpful and makes sure that I have everything that I came into the store for. This location is a great example of a store that provides excellent customer service every time. Great job! read more

I am not usually thrilled with Rite Aid, but this one is different. You can actually find help if you need it.

They are usually on time and I haven't had huge problems with them... they also almost always have the meds I need.

This review is for Rite Aid on Cooper Point Road in Olympia Washington . And does not reflect other Rite Aids . IDIOTS!! DON,T RETURN PHONE CALLS - They refuse to bring a product in stock for me to buy with cash. They won't give me the choice to pay with cash! This could possibly be against the law. They have been nothing but non-cooperative, they don't return phone calls, they don't follow through with their work, they keep giving me bogus information. The management of this Pharmacy is absolutely the worst I've ever seen. read more

Wow, I am surprised they are rated so highly. I have only dealt with them a couple of times as a health care provider, and both times were epic fails. They had the nerve to tell my patient, "no, there's nothing here for you" when I had phoned in his scripts 2 hours earlier. The next time, they filled 3 of 4 scripts for a patient who was leaving town, then Faxed me a refill request for the fourth med after hours, even though I had already authorized the refill earlier in the day. When I called the next day to see what gives, they told me the med seemed to need a prior authorization from the patient's insurance. I asked them to try running it again and it went through. I was told by an employee over the phone that they have "a lousy system" for dealing with these types of issues. AVOID this store & find yourself a smaller one where they take the time to know you and care about you. It's worth it. read more

I have ONLY had approximately 2 decent experiences with Rite Aid Pharmacy in the 5 years I have been filling my prescriptions there. I have a couple of chronic illnesses that require daily medication so if you can imagine, I have filled many scripts throughout this time. I typically do not have great experiences with pharmacies in general, so I tolerate A LOT! Today however, I find myself more irritated with Rite Aid than usual. I drove up there this morning to have my medication filled and was asked for a copay, I realized they must not have my current insurance information so I provided them with my secondary insurance card. I was told that they were going to have to run a prescription again and this would take additional 20 minutes, which I did not have because I was due to work in half an hour. After working a 10 hour shift in hawks prairie, I drove all the way back up to rite aid in hopes to easily get my prescription and drive off....but of course, things can't just go that easily. There was a note attached to my insurance card stating that this was not the correct insurance card and that I would need to provide them with another number and then I was asked for a copay once again. I did not have his insurance information so I asked if I could get a temporary amount of of pills so I don't have to skip my daily required medication which was ready missed this morning. Sadly, I am on a very tight income and did not have any money and also am now running out of gas. I was told no they do not do that even though they have in the past. I asked why no one called me on my phone number which I know they have on file because they call me to let me know when my prescription is ready but was given no explanation and no sympathy for the fact that I already driven there twice today....so once again, I had to drive off, empty handed and at least an hour and a half wasted of my time when a simple phone call could have resolved this issue. Rite Aid Pharmacy, you are not very friendly, understanding and you have treated me like I am a giant inconvenience to you 90% of the time...I will be looking for another pharmacy to handle my medication needs in the future. read more

I have a been a Rite Aid Customer for years. I am disabled. I frequently need a drive through pharmacy, especially since I had a stroke last year. This pharmacy should be sued for malpractice if it was allowed. Just a few months ago, I had a condition that made it difficult for me to navigate the pharmacy process. I had a brain injury. Malfeasance, mislabeling of medications and lack of response when they do things to my FACE that are the opposite of what they say they are doing is INSANE! They can NEVER seem to say" Oh, I am sorry, let me fix that!"Instead, they get a stone cold look, aggressive or non-responsive and try to let me know I am the one with the problem. When I am told they do not have my medication and then present me with the medication they said they did not have, I am at a complete loss. The lack of admission of a problem is why I will try to find another pharmacy and NOT go to this pharmacy again. This seems to be a localized problem , as the other Rite Aid Pharmacies have treated me rather well and this one has problems, no matter how many time sI have asked them to rectify their problem. I wouldn't trust this pharmacy with my life I have to repeatedly call them tell them over and over again what the problems are, and they never change them. This is a TOP DOWN problem. Whoever runs this pharmacy needs to fix these issues. read more
