I've used and trusted Walgreens pharmacies for many years, but am confused and disappointed by the…read moreconsistently poor quality of service on Cooper Point Rd in Olympia. They seem to be chronically understaffed--maybe there's a headcount cap despite high demand? There's almost always a line waiting, possibly because it takes 2 or 3 tries before each refill is ready--even after I ordered it online, and the website told me it's ready for pickup. This review is 2 stars not one, because I did, eventually, often after several tries, receive the correct drugs. I've moved my prescriptions to Haggen.

Since my Nov 1, 2024 review, the pharmacy has gone to Hell. I used to trust them and count on them…read moreproviding my wife and my prescriptions timely. No more. Now 3 times in 2 months, filling a prescription that used to take a day or two may take a week - IF AT ALL! If at all?? We get a text or a note on the app that our prescription is being refilled and will be ready on a certain day. Then another notice it will be delayed a day or two. Then another notice the pick up date is yet even further delayed. Finally, I go into see what the problem is and they say the prescription was never even placed. It's not in their system. (So why all the progress updates?) Again, this has happened 3 times in the last 2 months. Today was another doozie. My wife's heart meds auto-refill had a few notices it was in process with the usual delay notices. After a week, I went to see what the problem was,. They said it could not refill it with out calling the doctor. Huh?? The pill jar said she had 3 refills left. It was a generic drug but a different manufacturer now supplied the med and that's why the doctor needed to place a new prescription. Huh?? I have had many generic eye drops and pill prescriptions etc filled in the past by different manufacturers with out a delay for a doctor's intervention. Why now? I tried an end run a couple times by doing something old -school. That is go in person to place a refill order. A few times they tell me I am asking for the refill too soon, come back in a few days. How many trips to the pharmacy does one have to make to get a refill (and Im not trying to double up my orders).????? My thought is the pharmacy people do not think or have the knowledge to under stand that their order system is over loaded or becoming so absolute it stops their ability to fill orders timely I have NO CONFIDENCE in this pharmacy any more.

A small convenience store at the corner of 4th and Adams. I've never been sure whether the place…read moreis called "Adams Market" because it's at the intersection with Adams, is called "Adam's Market" after someone named Adam, or is called "Adam Market" as it's sometimes rendered in other online results. The great thing about this place is the owner, who is jolly and sarcastic and funny, although his wit does tend to run a little absurd and not a little dry. Almost as great, though, is the selection of Middle Eastern foods. It's a great place to stock up on boxes of mahmouls for cheap, or to get tins of stuffed grape leaves, which are a vastly better snack than the paltry selection of heavily-processed junk food. Fresh, but limited, but huge, baklavah. The real wonder, though, is a small row of sodas in the back. Not the fancy burdock-and-ass English stuff, but the selection of Lebanese fruit sodas by Kazouza, the best of which is the watermelon. None of them are HFCS-loaded crap, but the watermelon nonetheless captures the fanciful watermelon flavor of something like a Jolly Rancher without being too cloying (at least, for the first few bottles.) It's so wonderful. Like, it completely changed my view of carbonated beverages. It's also a reliable place to get ayran, which is good when the Kazouza gets too sickly-sweet. Also, the brand of ayran they stock is also very useful as a yogurt culture, and at least with the milk from my goats that I tried it with, it resulted in some absurdly-thick and wonderful stuff. Some of the staff other than the owner can be a bit grumpy or difficult, and some of them are quite sweet and outgoing. Still, it's hard to fault the gruff ones. It's the most centrally-located and only late-night convenience store in downtown Olympia. It's a great place to rub shoulders with people who are drunk at noon and people who are far gone in the middle of the night. It really functions as Olympia's only Middle Eastern market. International Spice and Halal used to carry much of the same stuff, and since it closed and its owner moved on to other things, this is the best place to go. And it does a good job of that, while also doing a good job of being a convenience store. A very cool place. Near and dear to my heart.

It was owned and operated by Virginia Beach, Virginia-based Farm Fresh Food & Pharmacy. The Market had three locations, two of which were in Norfolk, Virginia, and the original location in Richmond, Virginia. The first store was an independently owned and operated grocery store which closed due to financial problems. The store's distributor, SuperValu, required that the store be reopened and handed operations over to FF Acquisitions LLC. The Market was known for each location being named after its neighborhood: Richmond's "The Market at Tobacco Row," Norfolk's "The Market at Ghent," and "The Market at Harbour Heights." Each store specialized in something prominent in the neighborhoods that they served, for example "The Market at Ghent" is located in a neighborhood with a large Jewish population; therefore it contains a large kosher foods section. All of The Market locations contained a premier bakery, deli, seafood shop, butcher, and wine specialist along with gourmet chefs on staff to prepare meals to carry home at the store's signature Chef's Corner. The chain's flagship store at Harbour Heights in downtown Norfolk closed the first half of 2011 after being open for only four years. The original location at Tobacco Row was rebranded as a Farm Fresh Supermarket during the third quarter on 2011 and the Ghent location was rebranded as a Farm Fresh Supermarket in November 2011. Farm Fresh Food and Pharmacy and The Market are wholly owned subsidiaries of Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based SuperValu, Inc.
