In my previous review I grumbled over a 4 hour refill time. They have since been averaging a minimum of 24 hours and after standing in line (literally only four people in front of me) for 45 minutes I had to sit and wait for another 20 minutes because I was using a GoodRX coupon instead of my insurance (which I always do because it saves me over $200/month) and they had to have the pharmacist "rebill" it. The only reason I keep coming back is because my ONE medication is so much cheaper here than anywhere else, but being a busy working, sports mom I just don't have the time for this crap. I'm done. I'd rather pay more and get my time and sanity back. Also - in sitting and waiting for my "billing adjustment" I've witnessed at least five people leave in near tears because of how ridiculous this place is. I truly feel for the people that work here, but they can't treat customers like they're just a bunch of idiots (one woman didn't speak English well and needed help understanding the bill, an elderly woman couldn't hear and basically got angrily shouted at, etc...) it's not ok. read more

I use this Rite Aid because it is near my home and everybody here is pretty friendly, including the Pharmacy staff. They usually have the items I need in a pinch, such as various medical supplies. My only concern is with the Amazon drop off inside Rite Aid. I had a package there that was cut open, items removed, and then covered with black tape. I post this mainly as a caution to anyone else who may use this as an Amazon drop off location. Amazon will refund you however, it's a hassle and they probably keep track of how many times you request refunds. Pic of the tampered box included. To me this is crazy to be considered a pharmacy when every time I need a prescription for my children, they don't have it or they don't have enough?? How is that even possible? It's happened more than once so this is just wrong. I've come for different medicine each time and I'm hit with "we don't have it or we don't have enough for all your kids" I've never been told that in all my life. I do not recommend filling your prescriptions here because it is ALOT of work, specially if you have kids. I've always used rite aid in other states and never had this issue. read more

This is a review of the pharmacy. You should read this! If you want to wait in long lines and be waited on by staff that think they are doing you a favor, you should transfer your prescriptions here immediately! They are the worst pharmacy on the planet . Each time I went in to wait in the long line they stated they had not received a prescription. I followed up with my doctor and surprise.....my doctor sent the prescription to them twice! Both times they blamed it on the doctor's office. That is funny, because I have documentation that they received it. It is the system at Rite Aid that is the problem. The staff at the doctors office told me that it has been an ongoing problem for several patients. I know that may not be enough to discourage you from using this pharmacy but I wish you the best of luck if you do. read more

The only reason I went back was because I had a refill left on 2 prescriptions. I called the automated system and refilled them last week, before Memorial Day. I was told they would be available on 5/26/24. They were not. After being on hold for over 90 minutes, I drove over there. They said they were out of stock on 1 prescription and would order it. The other one they filled right away, along with about 6 other people with the same issue. What really gets me is that they didn't even look at the refill request. I get text messages about the status of my prescriptions. Had they even looked at it, I would have gotten a message that one was out of stock and had to be ordered, but I received no such message. Coincidentally, I was at the podiatrist today and was complaining about Rite-Aid. He said he had heard the same from many patients and with one particular patient, they took forever filling the prescription and the patient had to have an amputation because of the delay. They are taking people's lives into their own hands and it is NOT OK. read more

If you have a prescription that needs to be filled, do yourself a favor and take it to Safeway, target, or even Walgreens. This place takes forever, apparently they are always understaffed and can't get a prescription ready in the day that it was needed to be taken. read more

I certainly wasn't surprised to see Rite Aid's page only have 1.5 stars! The experience I had would've been a zero if that was an option. The pharmacy is 100% incompetent and everybody in the long line in front of me all had some sort of issue or dispute as well. I was told both my prescriptions would be ready in 3hrs and here we are 24hrs later with no medications. Went to. check and was told one is out of stock, it'll have to be ordered. Then told another Rite Aid pharmacy can fill it but after several minutes was told they're having computer issues and they can't transfer the script and I'd have to have the doctor write another and send it to the new pharmacy. There were additional issues with my experience, this was only one issue. Long story short, first and last time using this place...definitely not a well oiled machine and don't have a clue what they're doing. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. WORST pharmacy ever! Slowest service ever! If you need a prescription filled, I advise you to go elsewhere if you need it before you die. This is the 3rd time I've had to send a prescription there due to convince. The script was sent in before 9am and at almost 4pm my husband has been waiting to get amoxicillin mixed. I even called and asked without telling the story first "typically how long does it take for a script to be filled? Not hours and hours right?" The pharmacist said "oh no no no." So my response "then why......(insert above reason here)!?" She went silent...... So I told her maybe the pharmacy needs to practice better time management or get more help. GOOD LUCK! read more

The worst! They've gone downhill this past year. First there's only one front of store register open whenever I'm there. This means the looooongest + slowest check out process. Only until there's 8+ people in line Will the cashier page for assistance. It's 50/50 if an assist will eventually opens another register. Second, the pharmacy loves to lie. Many times I've come back hours after a RX has been sent over and the tech will tell me "we just got it in". Once the RX is filled be prepared to stand in the pharmacy line for at least 20 minutes. Both my husband and and I have experienced poor customer service, long waits etc. we are transferring our RX to another pharmacy this week. read more

This rite-aid location used to be much better. I just got released from the hospital and they called blood thinning medication I HAVE to continue taking. I called when I got home at 2pm to ensure they received it and to see how much it would be. First this is the 2nd time where I've had to call 3 times before they'll answer the phone. I told the girl that finally answered that I was just released from the hospital and needed to continue taking this medication today. She was rude and apparently didn't care when she said they had it, but hadn't started it, and couldn't guarantee it would be done today. WHAT???!!!! NO STARS! The pharmacy here is a joke. Every time I need my prescriptions filled and call them they are never ready. In fact this week alone I went to the store 5 days in a row. Never filled. I am switching pharmacies. Because of their neglect, I had to endure 4 days of no medication. A medication that can not skip doses. My body is going thru withdrawals. This is so frustrating. I'm a pretty laid back individual especially when it comes to working with the public. Let's face it, customers can suck!I don't have prescriptions often so I guess I'd be less frustrated than someone that has to have them on the reg. The first 2 times I had to get a prescription filled, they were done so pretty quickly. It was really nice. This 3rd time is where I get annoyed. I call around 3pm, it takes me 3 attempts to get someone to answer the phone, this part is normal. Whatever, we move on. Dude answers, he's polite though seems annoyed, no biggy. I verify my prescription was received as suggested by my doctor. They give me the green light, I ask about how long and if I could get an estimate on how much it'll be as it's a new amount so I wanted to be prepared. He tells me they have that many on hand so about 2 hours. Sounds great! My husband gets home, we go on our Friday dinner date to Van's and hit up the pharmacy on our way home. By this time it's 6:45, no rocket science, that's about 4 hours from when I called and was told it would be about 2 hours. We pull up to the drive thru, use lane 2 because lane 1 doesn't work and hasn't in the 9 months I've stopped by to get meds. The lady informs me my prescription is about halfway there so it would be another 1-2 hrs. She asked if I was signed up to receive text notifications so I would know when it's ready, I informed her I wasn't and she set it up for me. I received the text to opt in and went on my marry way back home. I figured I would get something by 8, maybe even 9 but nothing. If you can't get something done in the timeframe you claimed, just say something. I don't appreciate being lied to. This medication has to be taken 2 times a day for 8 weeks and my goal was to take it early morning so I could take it again at dinner time. Now I have to wait an extra day assuming it'll even be ready for pickup today. At this rate it would have made more sense to take advantage of the next day mail delivery my doctor offered but I wanted to get started ASAP and figured I could depend on my local pharmacy as I've done the previous times. It's fine, it I need medication again I'll just get it filled somewhere else. This location has a lot to work on so I'll give them the space they need moving forward. read more

Absolutely terrible. Pharmacist complained about swapping my GoodRX coupon so loudly that the entire waiting room could hear him--and he did so for at least five minutes. He remarked that only a "penny pincher" would care about switching the coupon. He was also being rude to the poor pharmacy tech that was helping him. Everyone working with him just looked so embarrassed and demoralized. This is the second time he has given me a hard time about using GoodRX. I get that he doesn't like the company and it's annoying to have to bill it out, but the company he chose to work for is contractually obligated to honor it--so throwing a fit every time is unnecessary. If I didn't have a coupon that saved me $200 on my prescription, I wouldn't go back to Rite Aid ever again. read more

Probably worst pharmacy in the entire country! Can't believe they are still operating this location. Basically everything is broke there, from trying to get your prescription (they don't have regular meds available at all), and always have to order which takes a week, to the completely absolutely fucked up non-working drive-thru. I only chose this pharmacy because of the drive-through, but both lanes are usually broke and no one from Rite Aid ever cares. I can't believe this is how Rite Aid treats it's customers! Hope for the sake of patients that Rite Aid will shut down soon! I just transferred all my meds to a pharmacy across the street that has 5 star reviews. This is my neighborhood Rite Aid. The pharmacy is notoriously slow and unprofessional. The staff is apparently incapable of saying "thank you for being a customer " after you've waited in line for a half hour. I've changed my pharmacy. The store itself is clean on the inside and staffed professionally, but too often the check out lines are too long. It's just not worth the trouble to have to wait so long in line to give these people money. First rule of retail - never make people wait too long to give you money. Also, the parking lot is always dirty with trash and leaves from 5 seasons ago. Customer service follow up has yet to contact me after a couple of notifications. The script was supposed to be ready today at 3pm after waiting a day for them to fill it I called and the staff stated the medication was again not ready...then they said maybe tomorrow!?!? Then "Melissa" stated "well the meds are only effective in the first 48hrs...so...?" I had to ask to get it filled at another pharmacy, which she was then again rude on the phone!... This place is a freaking joke. Well at least their pharmacy is. Multiple times I've gone in 8+ hours after a prescription was sent in and it hasn't been ready, 8 freaking hours or more!!! Must be rough to be that lazy, if I had employees that slow I'd fire them on the spot and yes I work in a high demand and extremely fast paced environment so there's no excuse. Legit the worst pharmacy I've dealt with. I've been trying for a month to get them to fill a prescription for my son. The doctor has talked to them, we've sent in a script, I've called, and the story changes each time. I've been told they don't carry his medication, they never got the script from his doctor, and finally that it had been filled and picked up (not by me, so I don't know who has it). They didn't bill my insurance correctly the last time, resulting in a $400+ bill for me (thanks for that). Stay far far away from this pharmacy. They are absolutely terrible at their job. read more

DO NOT go to this pharmacy! They are rude and incompetent. I have to take B12 shots and they never give me a syringe unless I ask for it. They charge a different price every time....sometimes 25 cents, sometimes, 49 cents, sometimes $1.25. For no reason. They have screwed up medications we have ordered (my son was on an antidepressant and they gave him an allergy medicine because the name sounded alike!). They don't have them ready when they say the will. After the rude people I dealt with today (one of them the manager), I will never go there again! Avoid at all costs! read more

Please do not use this pharmacy! They will not answer their phone, (have tried days in a row, waiting 30 minutes at a time) they take days to fill common prescriptions (currently waiting over 24 hours for my script for my eye viral infection) constantly close hours early (last night they closed 2 hours early and an hour early tonight, turning about 10 people waiting in line away, including my husband while I'm home with a 3 year old and 2 month old.) They seem stoned honestly and I seriously regret having my prescription sent here. Worst pharmacy experience in my life. I can't believe the service when they're handling people's medicine. Just go elsewhere, let me save you the heartache. I wish I had known. Please don't comment on my post rite aid, use the time to read all the other awful reviews and do something. This is unsafe. The pharmacy here is horrible. The staff is rude, they are extremely slow, and they almost never have medications in stock. I asked them to call my doctor's office directly after trying to get the two in touch throughout the day. They were irritated by the request, and talked to me like I was an idiot after I waited a half hour just to find out that they left a message for my doctor without actually getting an approval on the refill. Every time I had a prescription to pick up the lines were long and only one cashier was ever available. I ignored that issue because they are nearby and the employees are very nice. But then several things went wrong. First, I stopped in to pick up a prescription on a Monday and I was told that a second prescription for my son would be ready on Thursday. Second, I had an auto-refill for my birth control and it should have also been filled by Thursday if not sooner. On Sunday, three days after I was told to come back for the prescription, my husband stopped in to pick them up. He was told that neither prescription had been filled and they would not be ready until Monday. I travel for work and Sunday was absolutely the last day we could pick up the birth control before I was going to be out of town for the week. We never got a text or a phone call saying that the prescriptions wouldn't be ready (and remember that one of them was an automatic refill so there was no reason for that one to have not been filled on time). When I spoke with the pharmacist and explained the situation he sounded annoyed and said he was the only one there and was covering for the person who was supposed to be working. He said he would try to find the medicines at another store and call me back but it would be awhile before he could get to it. I didn't get the impression he was actually going to do anything. I gave him a chance and waited several hours and never got a call or text or anything. Finally I called Walgreens who said they had the prescriptions in stock and they proceeded to do all the work to transfer the prescriptions and fill them. I checked back in two hours and they remembered me and had the prescriptions ready. No fuss, no annoyance that I was bothering them, no long lines or waits. We gave Rite Aid several chances but no more - Walgreens it is from here on out. read more
