One of the employees regularly appears frustrated when interacting with customers and is often seen stepping outside to smoke during business hours. The deli department has ongoing issues. I observed employees handling chemicals in the the back without changing their gloves before returning to food preparations. The management at this location appears to be lacking oversight, and accountability. These issues significantly impact the customer experience and should be addressed promptly.

The staff there knew us by name, always asked how our family was doing, and made sure every prescription--especially those for our daughter was handled with care and urgency. Even during the most stressful times of her health journey, they made us feel seen and supported. Unfortunately, our experience at the CVS in Lacey, WA has been the complete opposite. We've been trying to get our daughter prescriptions filled during a time when her health has become a concern again. Despite her doctor sending everything over, my wife has faced nothing but pushback and confusion from this location. At one point, a staff member even asked if one of Yara's prescribed medications was "dog medicine." That kind of comment is not only unprofessional--it's hurtful, especially to a mother just trying to care for her sick child. I've tried calling the store several times to help get things sorted, but it's nearly impossible to reach anyone who can offer real support. We've gone from feeling cared for and respected to feeling dismissed and ignored. I understand that every pharmacy has busy days, but when someone's health--especially a child's--is involved, a little empathy and communication go a long way. Sadly, this location hasn't shown either. We're just asking to be treated with the same level of respect and care we received for years at our old CVS. The only reason I keep coming back is because my ONE medication is so much cheaper here than anywhere else, but being a busy working, sports mom I just don't have the time for this crap. I'm done. I'd rather pay more and get my time and sanity back. Also - in sitting and waiting for my "billing adjustment" I've witnessed at least five people leave in near tears because of how ridiculous this place is. I truly feel for the people that work here, but they can't treat customers like they're just a bunch of idiots (one woman didn't speak English well and needed help understanding the bill, an elderly woman couldn't hear and basically got angrily shouted at, etc...) it's not ok.

I had a package there that was cut open, items removed, and then covered with black tape. I post this mainly as a caution to anyone else who may use this as an Amazon drop off location. Amazon will refund you however, it's a hassle and they probably keep track of how many times you request refunds. Pic of the tampered box included. There was a slot there for it, but it was empty. I asked an employee named Marsha if they had any in the back. She checked inventory and said they've been out since August 31. I was disappointed due to the drive as their website said they had it. As I was checking out, Marsha came running up to me saying she found a case of Shoe goo, and opened the case and gave me some. They're handling medication, I don't think a clean pharmacy is much to ask. - I switched to this pharmacy when I moved to the area partly because the Safeway app said I'd receive gift certificates or something for the store if I did. The app wouldn't let me sign up due to some technical issue, so I called and they set me up over the phone. When I picked up my first fill, I was informed that since they set me up over the phone I wasn't entitled to any bonus. I don't doubt the "letter of the law" aspect of this, but it felt super bait-and-switchy. - It took them over a week to get my meds transferred from my old pharmacy and that was only after I called back to ask about the delay. Person I spoke to had no idea why they hadn't contacted my old pharmacy yet. - The second time I went in, they didn't have my refills and didn't know what I needed. I showed them the text they had sent saying the order was ready two days earlier. They realized they had reshelved my refills and in keeping with the common theme, had "no idea" what had happened. After this second fill I switched to another pharmacy. Other than offering details of my own experiences, I don't usually recommend people avoid certain businesses, but I have serious concerns about safety here, and while most pharmacies have issues, I'd suggest looking seriously at other options.
