They seem to be chronically understaffed--maybe there's a headcount cap despite high demand? There's almost always a line waiting, possibly because it takes 2 or 3 tries before each refill is ready--even after I ordered it online, and the website told me it's ready for pickup. This review is 2 stars not one, because I did, eventually, often after several tries, receive the correct drugs. I've moved my prescriptions to Haggen.

Walgreens waited until I was standing at the pharmacy counter to tell me they wouldn't accept my…read moreinsurance, after I had already submitted it to them, and driven there specifically to pick up an essential prescription. The staff then made the situation feel like it was somehow my fault. What made the experience worse was that they wouldn't even allow me to pay the cash price for the medication, despite how critical it was. On top of that, I was policed for expressing frustration under my breath during an already stressful situation. Going to any Walgreens continues to be a soul-sucking and demeaning experience thanks to their wait times and the quality of their employees.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would!!!…read more The Pharmacy here is TERRIBLE! We just bought a house in Olympia and I had a anti nausea med sent here. After having it sent, i waited 30 minutes and then went to pick it up. I waited in line (they have a drive through but have it CLOSED) for 20-30 min just for them to tell me they don't have it. I went back the next day in the afternoon about 1pm to try again... I had a sleeping baby in the car so I tried the drive through-- AGAIN CLOSED! My husband went back tonight at 6:30 pm and waited in line because again, the drive through is closed, for them to tell him they wouldn't get through the line before closing so he needed to leave. I called THREE times to get my prescription transferred somewhere else just for them not to answer the phone every single time. DO NOT GO HERE.

Tonight I closed out my account due to an extremely RUDE lady that answered the phone & said they close in 8 minutes & hung up on me !!! I HAD a card on file & needed to pick up 1 thing. When I entered I asked her why she would treat me like that. No apologies whatsoever ! In fact she called the pharmacist out & he told me that this wasn't the first time I've harassed her. I have never seen her before & that is a complete LIE ! I will NEVER EVER return to buy anything from this place. One thing, I will miss Lori. And she knows my demeanor. She's real ! On top of this they are rarely out of a medication.. and if they are they order it and somehow get it SO QUICKLY. That is a plus when you're waiting on a medication for relief. When I call for a refill, even using the automated system- it is refilled so fast. This pharmacy is efficient on all levels. I'll never go anywhere else.

In my previous review I grumbled over a 4 hour refill time. They have since been averaging a…read moreminimum of 24 hours and after standing in line (literally only four people in front of me) for 45 minutes I had to sit and wait for another 20 minutes because I was using a GoodRX coupon instead of my insurance (which I always do because it saves me over $200/month) and they had to have the pharmacist "rebill" it. The only reason I keep coming back is because my ONE medication is so much cheaper here than anywhere else, but being a busy working, sports mom I just don't have the time for this crap. I'm done. I'd rather pay more and get my time and sanity back. Also - in sitting and waiting for my "billing adjustment" I've witnessed at least five people leave in near tears because of how ridiculous this place is. I truly feel for the people that work here, but they can't treat customers like they're just a bunch of idiots (one woman didn't speak English well and needed help understanding the bill, an elderly woman couldn't hear and basically got angrily shouted at, etc...) it's not ok.

They usually have the items I need in a pinch, such as various medical supplies. My only concern is with the Amazon drop off inside Rite Aid. I had a package there that was cut open, items removed, and then covered with black tape. I post this mainly as a caution to anyone else who may use this as an Amazon drop off location. Amazon will refund you however, it's a hassle and they probably keep track of how many times you request refunds. Pic of the tampered box included. The store and staff are a solid 5 stars, just be cautious and look at your packages carefully if you use this drop box.

I told her, and she came back, tossed a boot wrapped in plastic on the counter, and told me my total. Thinking that's just what happens when I pay with cash, I paid, and walked out. Went home, put on my new boot, and it was the wrong type. Called them the next day and explained the situation. They told me I could come in on Monday to return for a refund since she did not try it on. Came in on Monday, and met with the Customer Service Manager and Jim, Jim was the only one who was pleasant. The CSR Manager actually told me to remove the hair that was on the boot because "I can't resell it like this!" Then they told me that the front desk lady told them she offered to try it on, and I refused. I flat out told them she lied, in which she then started yelling at me telling me she did not. Unbelievable! On the paperwork they had to send to corporate in order to refund me my money, they wrote the reason I returned the boot was because I "didn't like it." So again, THEY LIED! I will be letting corporate know.

It did take me awhile to get my bearings and figure out the layout and it was so much bigger inside than I thought it was going to be that it took me quite a while to get what I needed and get out of the store. The lines were pretty long as well and I think that's just because so many people come here and I get that. If you're not in a hurry, this is a great spot to grab what you need.
