Regina at the pharmacy is so rude and incompetent. She gave me this attitude and made me feel like I had to plead for her to get some service. Seriously, if this employee treats customers like this and acts like a diva, there are so many other pharmacies to patronize. I tried giving her the Rx number yet she ignored that, and instead insisted on asking me the name of the medication. That's why I was giving you the information I have! The store itself wasn't fantastic but Salina was GREAT!! If you haven't guessed by now I'm a huge fan of CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had a ton of questions regarding a receipt that I didn't understand. Instead of making me feel like a doofus Salina explained everything to me. Not only did she explain in a way I could understand she even gave me tips on how to maximize my shopping with the Plenti/Wellness rewards card. I had no idea the savings I get from this. I'm here roughly 3 times a month and no one has ever explained it like she did. You would think that management would do what they could to get more people to fill out their info for these cards. I've never been asked to sign up, only asked if I had one. Now Salina gets 5 stars for her customer service, but the store itself gets only 3. Not the cleanest place I've been in. read more

This is the most inconvenient pharmacy I've ever gone to.....I've had an issue almost every single time I've gone to pick up my meds. On average, it takes 2-3 days to get a medication they have to order. Every other pharmacy I've been to takes one day. After this last medication gets picked up today, I will not be coming back. I've been here 3 times to pick up my latest medication and today they tell me it hasn't been unloaded from the last shipment this morning yet. Last night they told me they have it, but due to legal reasons (scheduled med) I had to wait until today to pick it up. Don't lie to me! There is a pharmacy in Lucky right next door. DON'T go to this pharmacy, don't. Please do not give them your business, our areais growing fast and we need to send a message that this type of low standard is not welcome or we will be forced to put up with incompetence and down right abuse. What I am going to tell you is true and I am taking the time to do so because we as a community, should not support such a business. I have been getting RX there for 7 months because they were the only pharmacy that I could get to as my transportation is limited. I have medications that I must take on time and not miss doses or I can become very ill. EVERY month there are issues and ridiculous issues. They don't get faxes or digital prescriptions properly, they DON'T answer the phone, it is rare that you can get through and speak to someone who speaks English that you can actually understand but even if you are lucky enough to get an English-speaking person, they will give you false info. If they are busy they will say your prescription did not come through or the doctor sent it in wrong or just put you on hold for HOURS. I have taken pics of how long I have been on hold. Over 2 hours at times. One day they just didn't answer and I had to get a friend to drive me there just to ask if my RX was ready. I was calling them while standing in line and the phones were NOT ringing, they had turned them off so they were not bothered by them. My phone would ring them and I would hear ringing in my phone but the pharmacy did not want to be bothered with calls so I confronted them while standing at the counter, I put my phone up on speaker so they could hear me calling in and I asked them WHY ARE YOUR PHONES TURNED OFF. They were so embarrassed and freaked out and just denied knowing. The lies and unprofessionalism is beyond anything I have ever seen in a medical atmosphere. We go there because we need our medicines, not because we want to. I am going to find another pharmacy and I am going to write to their corporate headquarters. I work for an Atty and he is guiding me on how to get this problem exposed. The times that they have held up my RX has made me ill more than once and I am just done with allowing this to go on. I am going to do everything I can to expose such gross incompetence and disregard for the public that they serve. Please don't give them your business, we need to send a message that we do not want this type of company in our community. Our area is growing fast and we really don't want this type of stress in our daily lives. Let's encourage responsible, kind, and professional businesses to come to our area NOT THIS TYPE OF LOW-STANDARD BUSINESS. Please. There ARE other pharmacies that we can give our business to, let's try to do so, let's get rid of this business and welcome a new one in that will serve us with the dignity and high standards that we want in Oakley. Worse customer service I ever received, I was harassed and being watched and followed and had my child with me. I walked in and had my face covered, then some older women named audelia began to follow me and made me buy a box of masks because my face covering wasn't to her liking. All I needed was laundry soap and a few other items as it was just a quick in and out thing which just turned into a bad rite aid experience. Alysa the pharmacy manager is very lazy and rude! She was so lazy that she could not tell me how much a medicine would cost me due to it having no generic. She said she could not. Which is a lie because I have had them look up other meds before and even my doctor told me that they could. She could of found the answer in less than 5 minutes. I told her she was wrong then she demented me to stop talking or she would not allow me to pick up my blood pressure medicine. She thought she had power to keep my meds. But after I told her I'd be suing her for neglecting my meds due to my heart failure she became quite. How dare her. We have been here a lil over 3 weeks and my daughter just came down with a cold and some weird asthma attach. I hadn't moved everything over from CVS but I took a chance with Rite Aid since it was closer to my house, and my daughter needed to get home to rest after seeing the Dr. This Rite Aid is old, there's no denying that. It's like the old Payless Drugstores....oooold But the people are kind walking in and out and the help we got at the pharmacy was above and beyond and exactly what I needed at that moment sine I was stressed and tired and then worried about dealing with prescription coverage card, pharmacy lingo, etc. But the lady helping me said she could just call CVS from my old town and get all the prescription coverage blah blah info. I think her name was A.J. or j.c. I can't remember but I loved her! She was super kind, super helpful and seriously the sweetest! I had to come back since the prescriptions wouldn't be ready for an hour, which was fine, I got some grub then headed home to have my girl rest and wait for a text from her that my meds were ready. When I went back, another lady helped me and she was just as kind and sweet. She helped my daughter understand her new inhaler and was super funny and made my night a happy one from a stressful Dr filled day. Give these ladies a chance, they work their hinnies off and just want to make sure everyone is handled properly. They can't control the loops we all have to jump through in the pharmacy world of things, but they are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I'll be moving all of our prescriptions here. This is for the Pharmacy. The lady Joan is extremely short with you and very rude. I said I had to go to my truck to get my debit card because my mom and dad's prescriptions together came out to more than the cash I had on me and I needed to grab my debit card, and she sighs super loud and says "really?! How long will that take?!" ...seriously? I didn't ask to have her hold everything or wait for me (no other customers in line anyways...) If I can give them no stars I would, I went in to buy markers and my total was 7.35 and all of a sudden it went up to 8 dollars for some kid contribution, you are supposed to ask if we would like the donate the extra cents I don't mind paying the the extra cents, then we went back & we talked to this nice gentlemen named Thomas he was a fantastic helper & then the so called " supervisor" named Veronica she should not be a supervisor because she tried to say it's our fault that we pressed a button literally you just enter your phone number. & she tried to reimburse me 65 cents what am I gonna buy with 65 cents a bag of chips? Honestly so disappointed to be writing this review. First off, I'm in pharmacy so I'm very familiar with the operations and demands of a community pharmacy. I have never had a problem with any of the pharmacists and I specifically love getting to see Peter on the rare occasions that I have to stop by the pharmacy. Unfortunately the same is not true for the technicians I've encountered at this location. Awhile back I needed to pick-up post-op medications for a family member, which the technician repeatedly denied me because I wasn't the patient's parent. Fortunately I know pharmacy law and was able to eventually walk out with the prescription, but patients should not need to quote state law to get their medications. Fast forward to now and I've been trying to fill a medication for three weeks. I've continued to check on the status over the weeks and been given the same answer that the other pharmacy had not yet transferred the med. I understand this delaying the fill but when asking for them to get a verbal transfer today (for the second time) the technician, Colleen, was incredibly rude and sarcastic despite me being, what I consider, incredibly patient for the situation and specifically mentioning that this doesn't need to be done now, just soon. Technicians are really the staff that customers interact with most at the pharmacy, so it's a shame that the attitude of a few is having such an effect on the patient experience at this location. read more

I would not give this any stars. The pharmacy and the staff were the worst! I had to jump through hoops to get my sons prescription. Our normal pharmacy didn't have the medication he needed, so they called right aid and they had it, so I had his prescription sent over to them. It was over an hour and I hadn't gotten a call from them saying the medication was ready. So I gave them a call and the lady who answered was very rude. They told me the prescription wasn't in their system and after 5 min on hold they finally found it. She told me she couldn't fill it bc they didn't have his insurance card on file, so I asked if I could give her the info over the phone. She agreed and took his insurance info. She was very short and again very rude. When I got the call that his prescription was ready I went to pick it up. She grabs it, scans it, then tells me that it will be X amount of dollars. I said ok. She said this one is X amount. How can you pay for this? I said excuse me? She asked again how I'm paying... Even though I had my debit card out and ready to swipe. I said I'm paying with debit. And she said fine and that was it. I am a young mom. And I have only had this happen one other time but I was very upset at how unprofessional and rude this lady was. I will not be going back what so ever. read more

We have been going to this pharmacy for the past year and a half and each experience continues to get worse and worse! I have only continued to go because of the nice pharmacist named pete. The rest of the staff is horried. They are extremly rude every time I have gone in or called. Rite aid should invest some money in sending this staff for some personality classes or teach them how to smile. I saw the poor customer service reviews for the pharmacy and was honestly taken by surprise. We've received nothing but great service. Yes, sometimes the line is long and no one likes waiting but that's to be expected. I've spoken to Stephanie on numerous occasions and she has always been very helpful and super nice. We actually moved to Rite-Aid from Walgreen's because we were unhappy with the service there. For us it was definitely the right choice. read more

I work in retail so I understand that it's needed and I had no problem going home and getting it, but the cashier was extremely rude about it. She had attitude for absolutely no reason.
