Went to rite aid for a quick over the counter medicine and immediately stunned when we walked in. everything locked up EVERYTHING . okay i get it it's compton they've had a lot of losses im sure. Just came out from this location with the intent to get my flu shot but the pharmacist who is the only Asian pharmacist working there passes by and I ask her "ma'am can I ask you a quick question?" And she replied with "no,I'm off the clock" and walks inside the pharmacy... then I ask another pharmacist if they are still giving the flu shot at this time(5:50pm) and she asked the same Asian pharmacist the same question and she said "no, she has to wait 30 minutes" with a bad attitude...the workers there need to have better manners towards the customers or they'll end up having to close the store due to no one feeling welcomed anymore..mind you we live close by and this store has been our store for many years and for them to treat us like this is disrespectful. I enter at 8am today and ask the lady in front if she works here & she doesn't say anything even tho I'm only 2 feet away and can clearly tell she works here however I asked to use the restroom because I'm pregnant and can't hold it any longer. First she begins to state that it is out of service. Ok, understandable. BUT PUT A DAMN SIGN. I politely ask if I can use the restroom the employees use, I wouldn't ask if it wasn't an emergency, then she said they lost they key to it someone took it. Now she's just making up excuses I can tell her fatass cannot do the favor of opening it for a pregnant woman. Worst pharmacy ever! They're so unorganized and careless! I decided to change from the rite aid in Downey to this one since it just around the corner from me and I made a huge mistake. My medications are never ready after I call and I get told that they're ready. Not only do I have to stand in line fore more that 10 minutes every time but also 9 times out of 10 the medication they tell me is ready over the phone is not ready. HORRIBLE! Staff in the pharmacy shows ZERO consideration. I will save myself the frustration I get every time I have to go here and happily return to my original pharmacy in Downey! DON'T GO HERE especially if you have elderly loved ones that are constantly needing medicine. They won't care how bad you need your medication. read more

This is by far the most dirty nasty restroom I have seen. Don't understand how it got this bad because they pick and choose who they let it since it's locked. There was supplies either. No toilet paper, no cover seats, and the hand dryer didn't work. There was even flies there where all the old dried toilet paper was. read more

This staff at the Pharmacy are RUDE AS HELL (CECILIA)... she watch me stand there for a few minutes without even asking did I need any help meanwhile there's no one else in the pharmacy area whatsoever! In this particular Rite-aid store the Pharmacy personell is by far the best in customer service. This is as busy as it gets folks walk-in' and the drive-thru. Picking up your items is quick reliable and hands down all around the best. Very knowledgeable in the medications. I was extremely impressed with Mary ann and her skills in resolving issues with my doctors. After I left she continued making calls on my behalf until she achieved what needed to be done. I will give them 2 stars for two reasons: #1 - Their lines are ALWAYS ridiculously long #2 - Their cashiers work hard to get people in and out I think the problem is management! I think they are not understanding the consumers perspective when visiting this store. I have only seen the manager once and while he was there the store was functioning rather smoothly. However, when they are not around..... YEAH, the store represents a stereotype of what Compton is #RATCHET!!! Note to management: Hire more staff, and place most of them on registers. I don't even know why I keep coming here. I came twice and no pharmacist was available. I had one new prescription and they said I had to wait for them to get back. The reason I dropped it off and picked it up the next day was so I wouldn't have to wait in pain. 2 days no meds and they are rude every time I use them except for the young guy. They never updated my last name like I've asked twice already and they never seem to have my Rx info saved. The lines are ALWAYS LONG!! I'll go out of my way to go elsewhere next time. When I Had Bought It There Before In Different Occassions....LIER! That Was My Thought. Customer service at this store is subpar. What are you doing working as a store clerk/cashier if you are going to have a nasty attitude? The older lady working the register is beyond rude, she is lucky she is close to retirement otherwise I would've asked to speak to her Supervisor. How hard is it to be courteous? You don't have to be all smiles and all but at least have some kind of common courtesy. I went in to purchase some beauty products and they had a sale of buy 2 get $5 off. When my items were rung up, items were full priced so I asked the elderly lady aren't these products on sale? She gave me a nasty look and said " I don't know you need to get the ad see and check yourself" who says that to a paying customer? Ugh! I didn't want to make a big deal so proceeded to help myself to an ad , then I saw a young lady working the beauty section so I kindly asked her if she worked the section and she said yes and paused. Whatever happen to a simple " how may I help you?" These employees need to attend a customer service class for dummies course. I am so disappointed in this Rite Aid and from other reviews I can see I'm not alone. I may not work for Rite Aid, but as a frequent buyer of their clearance items, I can tell you I know how it's supposed to be discounted!! These employees and whatever wannabe manager that was there tonight, 02/24/17 at about 7:30pm clearly had no interest in making the situation right and giving me my products for the correct amount and instead kept telling me I was wrong and trying to talk to me like I was stupid. I even showed them a picture of THEIR OWN CLEARANCE PRICING CHART and was still refused my appropriate discount. I have been to many other Rite Aid stores that ALWAYS honor 75% off the GREEN STICKER!!! I should have got the "managers" dumb ass name so I can put it here.
