The worst customer service in pharmacy. What has happened to class, respect, friendliness and just plain great customer service. The people (not pharmacists) behind the counter act as if everyone is bothering them by them working. They choose this job, so they need to work it correctly. Retraining for customer service needs to be done. Getting attitude with each customer for no reason is crazy absurd. The store itself if clean. Sometimes it can go without being stocked. I'm pushing the buttons for service the aisles, where everything is enclosed,, the Recording is yelling for folks to go to certain isles to help and sales people are walking around like they're lost. Don't ever purchase gift cards here, I've had 3 gift cards that have been duplicated. An associate told me they know someone comes to do this and the only thing they do is audit the gift cards. Which obviously is not working. read more

My preferred pharmacy I have this store and a Rite-Aid close to my residence, and I prefer this store over the other simply because of the pharmacy as I am usually here for to pick up medicine for my daughter. Had aterrible interaction with a manager named Andrea's at the CVS on Comton and Central. My wife went to get money out of the ATM (CITI BANK) located in the store the ATM did not distribute her money. She went to an employee (she didn't get his name ) he basically said "there's nothing we can do " so she asked for the manager so the guy(employee) went to the manager who told the employee "I'm on a phone call she gotta wait" Now we do understand the ATM is not the property of CVS however, we simply wanted some direction as to what to do to contact the owner of the ATM. My wife did call her bank and they said it's a pending transaction. Our concern was that the manager should immediately shut down the machine down so no one can come up and potentially either lose their money or obtain my wife's money. The least they could have done was put an inoperable sign on the machine. The real issue was with the way the CVS manager handled the situation. He came out he began yelling at my wife in a very loud rude voice and that's when I had to step in and inform this young man he needed to bring his voice down. I always go to this pharmacy and only this pharmacy to get my medication. I enjoy going there because the staff is very nice I know all the staff and I'm familiar with him. They are very helpful and answer all my questions when I go there All my medication goes right there and they accept my insurance. The pharmacist is great also read more

I mostly come here because this is the closes ATM for chase that they have around here. This is good because the others are really far from where i work. The customer service 2 years ago was amazing. But there has been a slow decline over most recent years. This morning I brought my prescriptions to have them filled so I could take one pill this morning like my doctor instructed me. I ask him how much and he tells me he can call me in an hour and let me know. . Noooo I need to know not, get the money and come back. He says he can't have me wait in the drive thru. So I take my glasses off and ask how long does he need to price the meds since they're is no one behind me in the drive thru. He asked me to wait. Less than 5 minutes later he tells me one prescription isn't covered but still checking on the price of the other prescription. This dude is lazy for real. Then when he comes back with the total price, I say I'll be back in about 15 or 20 minutes and he says no, I need an hour. I had to explain to him that not only so I have a job to get back to but I need to take a pill now this morning and I don't need to wait until I get off work to take my other meds. He asked for 30 minutes. I live around the corner so I'm always here and I've never seen him before but he doesn't offer the level of service I'm used to receiving here. read more

Upon my arrival today to the CVS pharmacy, my prescription for my mother who has pneumonia and is a diabetic was denied. She also has congestive heart failure and the medication was denied by the pharmacist because in his own words he felt she didn't need this medicine and the prescription was being filled too many times. I was discriminated against because I'm a young black woman he was very rude he was a white male with no remorse for my mother. read more

This is a mess... first I arrive to drop off scripts at 6:30 and was told they were filling no more for the evening so I would have to pick up next day. After pleading I was told they would fill one. It's now 8;30 and I've waited in line thus far 30 mins. with only one car being served. We're talking about sick people needing meds. There has to be a better way. Is this happening all over LA? Come on people there are just too many hurdles for sick people to jump. Medi-Cal people are just at the mercy of the system or someone's system that's not in their favor. I went through the drive-thru to pick up my prescription and was handed a smaller bottle then I normally receive. I questioned if it was the correct prescription amount and female pharmacist who handed the young lady in white jacket the prescription bottle told her that my doctor only prescribed 60 and not 120. I requested to see writen prescription because I knew I saw a check next to the 120 box. Upon reviewing the prescription, they discovered my doctor did prescribe 120 and at that point I looked at the smaller bottle and noticed that they had given me someone else's NARCOTIC prescription. My prescription was ready but had been switched and placed in the wrong bag.... I'm giving them 2 stars because the young lady in the white jacket, I think her name was Emilia, was so professional and apologetic about the entire situation. I could tell the pharmacist was embarrassed because she never gave me eye contact again... she must of felt me giving her the "side-eye." #EPICFAIL ... OMGOODNESS!!! read more
