I stopped here on the way to work around 6:30am on Monday, 4/20/26, to purchase Zyrtec D and some Diet Coke. I paid for all of my items at the pharmacy. The cashier offered a receipt but I declined. I placed my items (3 Diet Cokes, a small container of baby powder, and the box of Zyrtec D) in my reusable shopping bag and exited the store. I was parked close to the entrance. I popped my trunk and was placing the bag in my trunk when an employee exited the store and approached me stating, "You need to come back in." I was confused and I'm sure by the look on my face that was obvious so he said, "You need to pay for those drinks in your bag." I told him I paid at the pharmacy. He then asked for my receipt. I told him I had it on my phone through the app. He then stated, "It's not going to show on there." He contacted the pharmacy employee via walkie talkie and asked if he had rung up a sale. The pharmacy employee stated that he had and told him what I had purchased. I now have the purchase history up on my phone. I showed this employee and he simply said, "Oh." And walked away. No apology or anything. I spend a lot of money at CVS. I am torn between shopping at a different, less convenient location and cancelling my Extra Care membership altogether. I have worked retail for 30 years. Unless you are a loss prevention employee, you should not be following people out of the store. That is a company policy at every retail company I have ever worked for. I find it hard to believe there was a dedicated LP person at this CVS at 6:30 am on a Monday. This person obviously did not check with the pharmacy or review any cameras before approaching me by my car in the parking lot. Please invest in better training for your staff. This person was an African-American male, mid-twenties, 5'8"-5'10", thick accent. I do not have his name but he was the only male I saw in the store at that time aside from the pharmacy tech.

It was my first time here picking up medicine. Never again. I was told I should receive a message when it's ready so I was literally waiting for hours. (Which I understand everyone is trying to get their medicine for THEIR HEALTH) I received a dexa injection from my primary doctor and I was supposed to take my medication right after but it's been so delayed. On the app it showed that it was going to be ready tomorrow so I contacted them and told them that I needed it today because I was supposed to take it after my injection. They said it should be ready after 6:30pm (I received my injection at 12pm) so again I waited for 2 more hours only for them to message me that it's out of stock. So I had to transfer my RX.

I used to pay a little over $8/bottle for one of my eyedrops, but this time, my refill came out to $60/bottle. When I asked for the reason for the price increase, the lady quickly dismissed me and told me that that's just what the terms and conditions are and that she already applied the max discount of $85 and that I could read the terms & conditions if I wanted to. I told her to go ahead and put in the order for the $60 drops, but naturally couldn't help but wonder why the same coupon I used just a couple of months before let me get it for $8/bottle (with Douglas Park Pharmacy as well). When I went into the store to pick up my eyedrops, I mentioned to her that I did read the terms & conditions but didn't see where it said that the max discount that could be applied was $85. I then asked her very politely if she could show me where it said that, and to my shock, she told me I could "get a magnifying glass" to read the terms and conditions and also stated that she is "too busy" and "does not have the time to go over the details with me" -- all in an extremely condescending tone. I would also like to point out that I was the only customer in the store at the time, along with my boyfriend, so it wasn't because there was a long line or that she had other people to help. Their company website says, and I quote, "our pharmacists take the time to counsel you and answer your questions," but where was that for me? I understand that we all get busy with work from time to time (or a lot of the time), but in such a heavy customer-facing role/workplace where you will inevitably be met with a lot of questions from your customers, how can you simply dismiss the questions with a "I'm way too busy to answer you" and give a "what I said is definitely right so that's just what it's gonna be" kind of attitude without any explanation whatsoever? As I was paying for my medication, she made the comment that I "can go to any other pharmacy out there, but I will not get a price lower than here." While I do agree that Douglas Park Pharmacy does have some pretty low prices, the blatant disrespect that I received here is enough to make me want to pay more for a more pleasurable and respectful experience.
