OK, so this is my preferred pharmacy to pick up medication whenever I need some and one of the ladies told me a while back to download the app and add all my information including credit card payment that way I never have to wait in line that was the best I advice I've ever got from the employee here. I never waited in line. I simply get a text when my refill is ready for pick up. I pull up click on the medication show them the code. They scan it and done your In-N-Out. I highly recommend you download the app if this is the pharmacy you use. read more

I'm never for the life of me understand why someone decides to work in retail and hates providing customer service when your job is solely based on customer service. So I came in with my mother yesterday, 6/3/26, because she had to make some copies. After not seeing the old copy machine they had back in the day, my mom asked the girl at the register that if she could get help with some copies. I forgot to get her name, but she's the thick curvy Latina (white passing) told my mom they didn't do copies there anymore and that she would have to take a picture on her phone and submit it online in a very rude dismissive attitude. But when I looked over at their photo print screens I see that they have a scanner. I then proceeded to tap on the screen and see if they do copies which if there's a scanner there, of course they must do copies. Like can someone in management please advise their rude staff of what the purpose of a scanner is. If she doesn't want to do her job then why is she even working there, like why would she tell a customer to complete the order online and have them wait an hour when it could be done right then and there. read more

I honestly wish I could provide negative stars. I wish they would let go of everyone working at the pharmacy and start fresh. The people working at the pharmacy are the most rude, incompetent, lazy, ignorant employees of all of CVS. Have a mobile order? Think you should go to the mobile order line to pick up your prescription? Well you would be wrong. Everyone in the standard waiting line goes first while you're ignored. Think someone would acknowledge you while you wave your hands to let them know you've been waiting? Nope. The people in the standard line were here first so mobile has to wait. Why would you have a mobile line in the first place?! The scanner can't read your mobile barcode so the only logical thing is to grab the customer's phone out of her hands so you can try to modify the screen settings. It's just overall unprofessional, disorderly, and sad. The Compton community deserves better. Compton deserves friendly efficient techs and pharmacists that can handle the workload of a busy pharmacy and that actually want to work there. It seems that everyone that's employed in the pharmacy look down upon the community they serve and are overall displeased that they work there. I unfortunately have to use CVS to fill prescriptions. So I have to keep frequenting other CVS pharmacies outside of the community I live in to be treated somewhat like a human being. Shame shame shame. read more

Customer service is terrible. I when to cvs today. I needed help with a locked med. So I politely ask a tall Hispanic mid age man employee, he was a couple of aisles over sitting on a chair working on price tags. I pass him on the way to the allergy section. So I knew where he was. I walk up to him and I politely ask him for help he replied very rude and sarcastic " I did not hear the ring sound" did u press the ring button for service" I told him no and u were only 2 aisle over! So I decided to just walk up to u for help! Then I felt interrogated asking me a bunch questions. "He said "this must be you first time here", he ask "how can u even see me from were over there "but in a none friendly rude way! My wife took my pecrecption coz I had knee surgery I can't walk and it was Narco at Pick up time he didn't give it to her and his is (John) that she didn't had her ID she gave him her passport still he didn't give it to her I had to go which doctor said I'm not supposed to walk.so I went once I got home they gave some other medication that's equal to Narco then I called to see why its different (John) said oh we don't carry Narco stupid pharmacist ( john) why at the time we drop off pecrecption didn't you said that they carry the pecrecption I'll never ever go to this stupid pharmacy ever again read more

The staff here is welcoming, BUT Michelle in pharmacy... RUDE! This rating is for her only!!!! Her tone was harsh and disrespectful when she spoke to me and others. When I asked her questions about what information she needed she said, "I don't know. You don't know, just give me some information! I need to put something in here!" CVS please train Michelle with some customer service or remove her from working with your guest! The pharmacy usually has a long line here but coming in on a Sunday afternoon was a breeze, not a single person in line. However, I'm here to rave about the amazing pharmacists (Tanesha) who took her time to not only take my call before hand & remember me when I arrived but guided me to what I needed without hesitation. I had come from another CVS (Alondra and Central) and had the worst experience there with their pharmacist (goes by Z) who didn't bother to answer my questions and rushed off to be on her phone. Crap! Did an online order for me to wait all day!!! I called and asked to see what was up and spoke to AMANDA. AMANDA told me that my order was in pallets. That's why I could order my things but had to wait forever to get my online order I paid for. That they would get to it when they can. (?!) AMANDA advised me to just cancel my order and wait 5-7 business days to get my money back. Thanks AMANDA! I hope corporate knows she's telling people to fuck off!! The pharmacy there is beyond ridiculous! Save yourself a trip here I visited on 9/11/23 waited in line for over an hour and when I reached the front the light skin girl in her mid 30's gave the rudest response and has no sense of customer service why work at a pharmacy and be so unhappy you have to be rude to customers. Soo, my review is not for the pharmacy, but for the photo department. I placed an order to have a (1) magnet printed. The website stated it would take about an hour and that I would get an email once it was ready for pickup. I waited an hour and a half and no email. I called to get an update so that I can send someone to pick it up. (It was supposed to be a birthday gift). When I called, the young lady had no clue. I tried to give her the order number, but she put me on hold before I gave her the complete number. When she came back on the line, she said she couldn't find my order. Ya think?! I gave her the full order order number and she put me on hold again. When she came back, she said that she couldn't find it and no one back there could find it. I asked if it was printed and they lost it or if they just didn't print it it? I think that question confused her because she passed me to a male person. He asked for my name because "everything is filed by name not by order number." I gave my name and said there was a computer problem and that he would have it ready in an hour. Ok fine. No problem. He called back 5 minutes later to inform me that they were out of printer ribbon and they won't get the shipment until tomorrow. Yeah...go ahead and cancel that order. The amount of pure incompetence at the store is almost inconceivable, but I'm surprised considering the location. Tried to shop local but got let down...again. Please...do better! read more

So I go to urgent care last night and get stitches on a wound. They ask me where to send my prescription I give them this location. I've been coming here for years for all my meds. Whatever I get here and there's like 7 ppl in line waiting by the time I get to the register nothing is ready.. they send me to drop off and they tell me it's on hold.... Why? No one can give me an answer. She says we'll have it out for you in 10 minutes and we'll call you. Now my review is due to this smart ass. I hear my name and get up already annoyed and in pain after working and having no meds to help. I ask do I have to wait in line again and this bald headed individual.. sorry I didn't get his name and I can only describe him.. replied "well yeah there's only one person ahead of you" in the rudest way possible. What does it cost you to be more professional. If you hate your job thats fine I'm not asking you for favors .. just be more polite or let other ppl who can actually provide good customer service take over. read more

I been coming here for years to the pharmacy, which the ladies here are always very pleasant. However, I just went in today and this young African American girl with red hair was extremely rude. Her tone and delivery signified her annoyance with my father due to him not knowing the number. First off, my father had 2 strokes, in turn, his memory and his language was affected dramatically. Working in a healthcare field, this young lady lacks empathy and needs to understand she's working in an underserved community. Because of that, she needs to be trained on proper customer service and not act in a capricious manner. Moreover, when I asked her about my prescription, she was no help and her tone was horrible. I work in human resources for a local hospital, and her tone and customer service towards me would not be tolerated. I understand everyone needs to begin their career somewhere, but CVS please train and ensure your staff know how to speak in a polite tone, practice skillful listening, and have a sense of professionalism to execute their duties effectively. I was unable to get her name, but that young lady needs training as soon as possible. read more

This has to be the absolute worst CVs I have ever been too the cashier Michelle made fun of me and staring laughing at me as I was leaving gossiping about me with another customer and management did nothing about it! This location most always had what I needed. They open early and are always willing to help. *However, the line (yes as in singular) is always long unless the store is empty, which is what I hope for when I am pressed for time.* There is an Asian/Pilipino woman that works there that has superb customer service skills. After waiting for almost two hours to get my prescription verified, once its ready I still have to go and get in line and wait for another 15 minutes. Really unprofessional cashier (older Asian lady) I'll be checking out buying baby milk and she's talking about how her kids don't have kids because they're about making their money (like kids and money are exclusive of each other) and saying she can't be tied down. I just usually come here to buy milk for my baby. I'm trying to just get in and out of here. But that never happens. These people lack staff or something. Or maybe it's all CVS. Cause they always just have one register open with like 15 people in line geez. With the prices they charge here for medications you would think they can afford another worker. if you are here to buy baby formula tell the cashier before you head to the back of the store. If you press the button at the formula section they will take a REEEALLY long time to come to you. I have never walked into the store to the back of the baby section and have somebody come and help me I always have to go to the front and remind a cashier that I'm in the baby section waiting for someone to come. very inconvenient especially when I have a 2 year old and an 8 month old baby. read more

This store sucks big time, everytime single time I go in there they only have one register open and the Line be so long it's ridiculous. The working at the register be so slow like come on. On top of that the pharmacy lines always be long that's why I go to Target pharmacy it's never a line and it may take 15 min to fill my prescription they say go do a little shopping 15 min come back it's ready not CVS you can't do a little shopping come back and it's done nope you gotta go home cook, pay bills, take a nap then it may be ready the next day. Smh. I went there today no worker to be found but on the register. I then saw a worker said I need assistance she says I'll be right there hun, never showed I waited for 15 minutes mind you I hear over the loud speaker about 4 times a call for customer assistance in hair care, makes no since they should just close down, store should not take that long for you to get assistance. I will never go back to this CVS ever again if your reading this review dont do it. Go to another one where they have more that 1-2 workers and care no stars. read more
