Every time I call to speak to a pharmacist, no one ever answers. I will try again and again and no one answers my call. Then you go in person and they all have a rude attitude. If you're handling my medication and I have questions how the hell an I suppose to get in contact with the pharmacist? I will def be looking into reaching out to corporate for a resolution. I've never been so upset not being receive help from the pharmacy department. read more

Rite Aid's are always hit and miss these days. Some everything will be locked up. Others will not have anything that you're looking for. I went in to look at the cosmetic section and they literally had nothing on the rocks. read more

If I had the power to remove all of the workers in this pharmacy I would. On 4-10 I was in my doctor's office for a pre-op. During that visit she prescribed three medications. On of the medications was for Zyrtec-D so that my congestion would be down to a minimum for my operation. When I got to the pharmacy to pick up my medications Peter the technician informed me that my insurance didn't cover the Rx. I informed him that I still needed the Rx regardless of the coverage and that I would pay for it. At that point he then spoke with the pharmacist on duty, not Andy Pham at this point and decided to run it through my insurance carrier and then I paid for the balance. It was something that should have been done in the first place. A little back-story, a few days prior I had refilled an allergy medication. I'm sure that he thought that since I did that, that I would not be entitled to a more specific medication. The client waiting behind me for service noticed the exchange and also commented on the NON-Service of this site. News flash Peter, your little six month training and three month externship for a pharmacy technician doesn't give you the right to determine what a practicing physician with years of experience deems necessary for a patient, nor do you have the right to decide who gets what when. This is the second strike against this pharmacy in my book. Here's the third, after my operation I called the pharmacy to see if they had a certain pain medication. I understand that these medications have now been re-classified. During that phone call I spoke with Andy Pham, the pharmacist. When I asked him if he had the prescription he asked me for the dosage and then he asked me for the amount. When he was told the amount he placed me on hold and when he came back on he informed me that there was none available. Here's my question to Andy Pham: "Knowing that you are aware of what you have or don't have, why would you even ask about the dosage or the amount if you didn't have it? Why not just say that you haven't received any?" Mind you, this is the same person whom I caught lying about the same medication to someone else in front of me on the same day that I was there to pick my same Rx up on a previous month. To be exact 12/12/14. I posted my thoughts on that visit also. There is a culture of deception, controlling and manipulation by the staff in this pharmacy regarding who they will supply prescribed medications for that Rite Aid has chosen to turn a blind eye to. I am a baseball advocate for their motto: "Three strikes, your out!" AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE! Traveling a few extra miles to obtain quality service is better than having to deal with the frustration of dealing with this facility. Better yet, change your pharmacy. Looking at all of the reviews of this facility makes me wonder if the Corporate office of Rite Aid is even paying attention. Telling the reviewers "I'm sorry for your experience," is not enough. Why don't you DO something about it {Rite Aid}, instead of brushing it under the rug? Your words are about as tangible as the air we breath... I just don't see it's results. read more

Love Rite Aid, mostly because of Thrifty ice cream(coconut pineapple is my new discovery)!! Customer service is always good and I believe this one has a 24 hr pharmacy (drive thru). Last time I dropped off a prescription, I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Pretty fast, I think. read more

Dora and the other employees are very nice. They also love the new remodel. The store is very well stocked and the new signage insures everything is easy to find. The isle are wider and the store is aesthetically pleasing to me. Great job! read more

As a patient, I had a really bad experience. They make you go through loops and upside down to get your medication. If you need pain pills, you will be shamed and treated like a criminal. They allowed me to suffer another day without my medication after my surgery because they thought I was a drug abuser. I was forced to move my prescription to another pharmacy. read more

This Rite Aide on Central is the worse pharmacy in Compton. The workers and pharmacists dont know what the hell they are doing!!!! Every month my husband medication there is a problem and we just found out today his medication was given to someone else week ago. This place is pretty great. The cashiers are friendly, the staff is helpful, if you need something they'll get it right away. I've filled some prescriptions here and got the 20 minutes later. So, all in all great store, good ice cream. read more

The Store has been good. The Pharmacy is bad all around from the Doctor to the employee especially the Doctor no customer service at all, don't want to take your prescriptions don't want to give you an exact day for refill and just blow you away. THE DOCTOR IS VERY ON ETHICAL..... read more
