One thing to keep in mind: if you come on a weekend morning, make sure you have a little extra time. The shop itself is pretty tiny, so they only allow about 5-6 people inside at a time, and the line can form outside. That said, they have tons of outdoor seating and even some additional indoor seating right next door, so there's still plenty of space to enjoy your coffee. The chocolate croissant had just the right amount of chocolate. The 3 pastries and the iced coffee added up to $25 + tip. The girls who work there were really friendly. Depending on your time of arrival, the parking lot can be full but it's cool cuz there's also street parking available. I was able to park in the lot. After walking in I was welcomed and greeted with positive energy from 2 young ladies who I forgot their names but we'll just call them "A" and "C" lol. A guy to my right was sitting next to the window working on his laptop. And two others against the wall sipping their coffees and doing whatever on their phones. A customer was at the register ordering while another customer walked in to stand in line behind me. I let her go in front of me while I took pics and recorded footage. I like the atmosphere and space a lot. It has a very nice decor. Artwork, pictures and murals with history displayed along the walls. Grab and cold drinks available for purchase. Nice music playing that wasn't too loud but just right to complement a chill coffee shop vibe. "A" was friendly and patient as shared with her this was my first visit. As I browsed thru the coffee menu before making my selection I noticed more costumes coming in. I ordered a medium sized Americano which is $3.75 but I requested to add some hazelnut creamer as well as some almond milk which totaled out to $4.75 which was quite exceptional to me. Giving the location, the quality of service and the quality of the coffee. Not to mention to overall experience. I even thru in a $1 tip. I support the business and love the space. For the last few weeks, I've been ordering the same latte but modifying it by asking for less milk and no cane sugar. She told me they actually have a drink on the menu called the Shakerato that was literally exactly what I had been customizing--and it was cheaper! I couldn't believe no one had mentioned it before. I really appreciated her looking out for me instead of just ringing up the more expensive modified drink. On top of that, I ordered a breakfast burrito and went out to my car to wait because it was pretty busy inside. When I came back, she was actually outside looking for me with my drink and burrito in her hands. That was such a thoughtful touch and definitely wasn't something she had to do. It's little things like that that make people want to come back. She was so kind, attentive, and genuinely went above and beyond. She even provided the receipt for me so I wouldn't forget what the name of this drink was with the cost! (Which she hand wrote) Customer service like that is hard to find these days, and she made my whole morning. Words to describe Padekwa: Positive vibes, Great spot to work/study, Relaxed, Artistic, Creative, Serene, Peaceful, Safe, spacious Location: It is located by Dollar Tree/7-11. There is plenty of parking because it's in a plaza. Drinks: I ordered their specialties-bananas foster latte and beignet cappuccino. Both served hot. They were delicious! I can taste the sweetness of the bananas and beignets, with the warm combo of the hot coffee. Way to go baristas! After sipping on the coffee nectar, it inspired me to get to work on my work projects. Food: I also tried their brownies and coffee cake. They were both generous slices and appetizing as well! Environment: I really love the aesthetics and atmosphere at Padekwa. You see the personal touches of family life and community. I also love the poem on the wall about art.
