They take forever at this pharmacy and the drive thru is worse they take 10 to 15 minutes on a car it's crazy

Why close the pharmacy drive through before 9pm and not post the hours online? They're quick to tell you over the intercom to come inside the store where the line is absurdly long. Just ridiculous. read more

I am resident of city of Lynwood ca for more than 25 years and i support my neighbors businesses and cvs is one of my favorite stores and pharmacy but on my last recent visits to this specific cvs located at 3800 Martin Luther king Lynwood CA I feel very deceived not only because CVS don't provide carts nor baskets to carry the products I need to buy from their store !!! Whenever I ask any of the workers for a basket their answer is we don't have any because customers steal them! So there is nothing we can do ‍, I feel this is a recurrent problem and they don't care and don't look for a solution to the situation and leave it to the rest of us their customers, the one that SUPPORTS THEM deal with the situation!! Like oh well ‍! I find that unfair and ridiculous, I find ridiculous that when I asked for a basket to carry six or seven things I was carrying around the store , a worker offered me to go back and forth to the front counter to put things there while I need to looks for other products!!!! That's hilarious!!! Really ?? Is that the best choice ??? No thanks!!! They need to find a solution to the problem! That cvs management needs to do better for their own good , we the clients can always go to different cvs on our ways back from work but that would be bad because our money will stay on a different city !!! read more

This was my first time at this cvs. I needed an ointment, and when I checked online it appeared to be available at this location. There was plenty in stock of what I needed. The line was huge but there was 3 cashiers open and they don't have self check out so it went by fairly fast. There was plenty of parking and would definitely come here again if necessary. read more

I am a loyal cvs customer and go out of my way to shop at CVS,this location is maybe 5min from my mothers house and very convenient for me and my family to go and pick up medicine. Today my mother told me a disturbing story about what happened to her with a pharmacy representative Simon I believe her name was..this representative gave poor representation of what CVS should give which is great customer service. Simon made my moms visit to CVS a very unhappy one, my mother a Spanish speaker asked for help and this rep. Pharmacy workers are fucken rude!! They didn't let me pick up my medication because it was in a different medical and I called the pharmacy to see if they can update the medical I had . Horrible pharmacy! I received a text message earlier today and a phone call stating that my prescription was ready for pick up. I arrived to pick it up and waited 25 minutes in the drive thru with 4 cars ahead of me just to get to the window and be told the meds weren't ready, but they would have them ready for me in 10 minutes. The employee at the window suggested for me to just circle around and get in line again so that by the time I did that my prescription would be ready. (After already waiting 25-30 min) Why in the world would I do that? I'm no pharmacist but I don't think it takes a life time to throw a couple of pills in a jar and send me on my way...I told him to just cancel my prescription, that I would ask my doctor to send it elsewhere and of course as I typed this review I get a text saying it's ready I wish their staff paid attention to their clients. It's not ice cream we are picking up! We are picking up meds that are clearly important for some of us to take! read more

This morning was the worst, being that I have been shopping there for ever and have spent so much money in that store just because its more convenient and close to where I live, and the way the staff(a few) and manager always greets me and help me find whatever I am looking for. But this morning the customer service was just ridiculous and made me sick to my stomach. Great customer service is one thing that I always look forward to... The store staff is all kind & nice. It's the pharmacy department that needs some customer service training. I've been coming to this pharmacy for a while & I've never encountered problems / rude techs up until recently. I've been "helped" by 3 female techs & they were all rude & impatient. For example, the lady was telling my mom about the medicine, my mom asked a question & the lady had the nerve to say "I already told you " in a rude manner & rolled her eyes when all she had to do was just answer her question. The line get's long & they only have 1 counter open & don't even bother to say "I'll be with you shortly" or "sorry for the wait". I deal with customers also & it always makes them feel better when they hear comments like that. The service has gotten so bad that we transferred to another pharmacy. I don't know about any other CVS stores,but this one is open at 7:00am really at 7:00am they are opening the door's if you shop at CVS and used your CVS card you will receive a $4.00 coupon off the purchase of $20.00 or more Item's catch is you have to update your email address(staff stated to me that will send you Info.coupons,and special Items on sale) and you can do this on line or at the store.Cool with me since I always spent over $20.00,they need to have this special all the time and not just one time you spent over $20.00 this store business rating will shoot really high. read more

I have no complains about the pharmacy it self but the store staff is awful. Today I went to print some docs since I thought going to get ink was going to take me longer. So the machine does not have Bluetooth and it wouldn't get my usb cable. I asked Terri for help and she said she will call someone ... I literally waited almost 1 hour and no one came. This review is for the pharmacy located inside CVS. The pharmacy assistants are desperate need of customer service training. I have had bad experiences with the assistants three times and I have witnessed them be rude to other customers as well. An older lady who did not speak English was standing in the wrong line and one of the techs totally snapped at her instead of kindly telling her where the correct line was. I don't know if it was because they were busy but that is certainly not an excuse. I waited 20 minutes in line just to drop off an RX, and not once did anyone say, " We'll be with you shortly" or "sorry for the wait". When you finally make it to the front counter, it takes the techs about five minutes just to enter your prescription in their system. The only reason I came here is because I do not want to drive to the nearest Kaiser Pharmacy, but now I will just drive 4 miles down. On top of the horrible service, their wait times are up to two hours! When this red-headed pharmacy tech told me my wait time was two hours, I replied, "wow that is a long time." She then then looked me with a raised crazy eyebrow and stated, " we are busy-" She looked like she was angry and wanted to lash out at me... Uhhh you should be happy your pharmacy is busy! That translates to "JOB SECURITY." I hope your corporate office reads these reviews and reaches out to you! ***NOTE*** The regular CVS staff thought the rest of the store is kind; especially the store manager. This is entirely towards the pharmacy. It's incredible they hired those people to work there. EVERY single time I come with my grandmother, we get the absolute worst customer service. They will sigh out loud when you ask them a question and roll their eyes at you. Only the women. Of course, there are 2 or 3 that actually smile, but the rest are rude. I asked to look at the box of a medication (since they had given me the wrong one before) and the lady tore the bag from the center, threw it on the counter, took the box out, rolled her eyes and slammed it on the counter. "There. That?" They get irritated with when patients ask a question and even raise their voice as if to make them understand. It's shocking they allow such people to be working with the ill. The last thing an ill person needs is someone who treats them as if they were worth nothing. read more

Called before driving to the store if they had flu shots they said they didn't have them until "August" then told me to wait and said they had one I told them what time can I go in and they said whatever time they would have it there for me I get there and they said they don't have any until August and mind you as I'm leaving they have signs in the front saying that the flu shots are available inside. Made me waste gas and look dumb after asking twice if they had then they said yes and still have false advertisement in the front of the store. read more

This is the worst pharmacy ever. If I could give it no stars I would. Every time I come to pick up my prescription, they say they were unable to reach my doctor. I have waited two weeks for high blood pressure medicine. They are probably part of my pressure problem. To make matters worst, I have been given duplicate meds that I don't need while medication that I need is not provided. It's clean and organized and you can never find anyone who works there and as far as the check out, there's always a line with 1 cashier or the manager charging out. Today I had a injury at my place of work and went to Saint Francis hospital. I was advised to go to any CVS pharmacy to fill the prescription. I went to store 9123. I went to the drive thru first and advised them of my work place and that I wanted to fill a prescription. The window representative asked if it was my first time coming to CVS. I said, this is my first time coming to this CVS & through my job. The rep said I had to come in. So I did and stood in line for 30 minutes, while all the other reps where standing in the back staring at the line developing quickly. When I finally made it to the front of the line Vanessa asked for my ID and my prescription to Dianna the lead tech who said they don't carry the medicine. I asked if she could call another location-she said no. I asked if I would have to go to every CVS until I finally find the medication. And she said YES! TERRIBLE customer service! read more
