Greeted by Papa at the front we wanted real authentic Italian food. And we found it. Ok, first of all if you are coming to Italy make sure you do your home work and learn how they do things hear. This is true Italian restaurant. They do anti pasta first then second course pasta and third course meat. Desert and coffee or drinks optional after. Amazing food and great flavor. (This ain't no (Olive Garden) ha ha ...American joke You do not have to order all 3 courses if you do not want to.

I ate here on my last night in Rome. No regrets at all! 10€ for 2 plates and a desert and wine! Truly delicious and a great way to end my time in Rome. I believe this place was family owned and it is adorable! I loved hearing the language being commonly spoken between family members. Service was great as it was quick and HOT! All the dishes were right off out of the pan and served. The only con was the bugs - not many but there were a few flys buzzing around while I ate.

I was walking around and see what to eat by where I stay. I guess it's Tuesday and November, there are very quiet at the restaurants. I stopped and read a few restaurant menus. Then a man stopped and passed me a menu. I saw there's a special on the chalkboard, $10 for three courses. I was like there is no way it's so cheap. I was hungry and didn't want to look for another place. The man was selling so hard. Plus it's pretty chilly night so I went in. The restaurant doesn't has fancy decor use fluorescent lamps, so it's bright. I got a seafood menu so it's $15. I picked seafood risotto for first course, second course fried seafood (shrimp and calamari), and potatoes for the last course. It also come with no choice dessert which is a Italian ice/sorbet but watered down kind. The risotto was not creamy at all. I felt like they put the broth over the rice and seafood. Somehow it's pretty tasty. And I see the steam came out when I spooned it. I felt my body warm as I was eating it. The fried seafood was pretty tasty. The portion was decent. Remember it's only $15. The risotto portion was pretty good too. I had to asked for my potatoes since they gave me dessert. A younger girl told me I had the salad. Where was the salad? I never had it and they jumped to the dessert from 2nd course. I was going to forget it and asked for a check. She walked away so fast. She gave me the potatoes and tasted pretty good too. Oil and thyme. Simple and good. Grandma was the one took my order, came out and wondered why I asked for the potatoes. Since she only speak Italian, I didn't even bother and asked her for a check with my body language. She took the bill and money. While I got up to leave, the younger girl tried to stop me as she thought I wanted to walk out. I pointed at the money and the bill which grandma left at one of the tables by the door. I told her that was from me. Five stars are for grandma and grandfather who checked on me a couple times. He did a good job compare to other restaurants I went in Roma. The servers in Europe are not like the US to check on their guests as they relying on tip and can't be screwed. If you happen to be in the city and stay in the area should go and try it. Tasty homemade food.

It was our last night in Italy yet one of the best meals we've had. The service was great as well and the House red is delicious. Not to mention dinner for 2 with appetizers, wine, and coffee for €30! Hidden among the touristy area near the train station is this gem. Don't pass it up!

Wonderful gem in Rome. Like the others said, you get so much good food for only 10 Euros. I especially loved the Panna Cotta.

We were lucky enough to grab a table for lunch. We had a margherita, pepperoni, and a burrata with prosciutto pizza. All three were outstanding. The crust, the dough, the toppings - everything tasted fresh and came together perfectly. One of the best, yet simplest meals we've had. They also offer salads, though we didn't try any. The two behind the counter were fun and friendly. They take your order, ask where you're from, and then shout out your location when your food is ready - a really fun touch. Bonus: our table had a USB charging station, which was a really nice surprise while out exploring the city. There's also a small bathroom in the back for customers. This one really hit home. Definitely worth a stop.

Plus, the space is very hot inside, but better to sit near the window or do takeaway. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted one last pizza in Italy. When I saw that this spot does mini pizzas, which means I was able to choose a variety of flavors; I was so excited! Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pizza dough and only had the large. It really is a shame, because I didn't think the bigger version is worth €15 each. Nonetheless, I ordered the Burrata & Anchovies while the husband got Pepperoni. I really did enjoy the flavor and chewiness of the dough. The burrata also gave it such a nice creaminess to balance the pizza that worked perfectly. Sadly, I had to waste a slice because I couldn't finish the larger pizza, so still a bit upset that I couldn't order the mini. With that said, it's a delicious pizza spot.

Seating area was very small. I was seated in walk way area and it was a bit busy with people going in and out of restrooms. Ordered Carbonara, Genovese and Aperitivo. I had Carbonara for the first time and I m not a big fan of it. I have to try it again to make sure if it's me or the way the dish taste. Genovese was ok, beef stew was inside of a bread. Aperitivo, I chose spritz which came with refreshing cocktails and three little fried pizza. Overall the food tasted acceptable but wait time for Cabonara was long. It must have been like 30 minutes. I was done eating everything and had to just wait for that. The restaurant was small and this is a classic popular dish. I don't think they should take this long.
