All in all, a well-rounded (seafood) restaurant along the coastline! Enter through their boat dock or their formidable stairs (300 steps down from the main road) for rather enjoyable meals - their seafood caught fresh on their boats!
Can't go wrong with anything on their menu!
Had, so far, their:
- Tomato bruschetta & Fritelle with algae inside (free service)
- Antipasto all'italiana (€14)
- Lemon & Tuna pasta (€18) - off-menu; need to request *
- Linguine cozze e vongole (€20) - very similar to the risotto, but I personally prefer the risotto over the pasta version
- Penne alla siciliana (€12) *
- Risotto alla pescatora (€18) - my favorite so far *
- Fritto di totani (€18) - small squid that they caught! (Yummy, but was not used to not eating it without the marinara sauce..)
- Frutta di stagione (€4) - totally worth it!
- Lemon sorbet (€5) - considered an option in "mixed ice-cream"
Friendly staff, a bit of slow service (with only one or two waiters most of the time)... Appreciated them for being the only restaurant open in Conca dei Marini before an anticipated thunderstorm and probably a slow day for them.
