I'm telling you, don't judge this book by its cover! They got through the parties before us very quickly and we were able to be seated in a good amount of time from waiting. They have a very large menu with many good options that anyone can find something they'd like to try. Something that caught my eye was the skillet entrées that they serve. I went with the south of the border skillet. This includes Chorizo, home potatoes, jalapeños, green peppers, onions, eggs, avocado, and mixed cheese. I mean... what a combination of items! This was great! The potatoes were cooked to be nice and soft, the chorizo had excellent flavor, and the jalapeños were the perfect amount of spicy kick that took this skillet over the top. It's also supposed to come with a side of beans. As a guy who doesn't eat beans a lot, I asked them could I substitute for a different side and they suggested that I get their rice. This was very good as well. We were constantly checked on, drinks were refilled all the time even with asking and very well taken care of. The prices are very reasonable. The food I had was spaghetti and it was as good as homemade and there was way more than I could eat so when I was done eating I asked for a to go box and took my leftovers home for lunch or another meal. A friend invited me on an adventure to try this restaurant and we were super excited and scared all in once. It's an old motel/hotel building. Thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast today! I had a traditional southern breakfast: scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, and toast. Hubby had a veggie omelette with salsa and pancakes. My family and I were looking for something local and we found this place. Amazing customer service the food is great!

My wife and I were visiting a dear old friend when we realized we needed to get lunch. Our friend recommended this restaurant, and we were so happy she did! My wife had the pot roast while I chose to get the homemade meat loaf with mashed potatoes and collards. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our server, Carla, was so very friendly and kind. She even offered us dessert on the house. We only wish that we lived in the area rather than six hours away. This would be a regular spot for us! read more

I ordered from there today and the owner knows me I just ordered a cheeseburger with fries I am not a person that complains but when I got my lunch there was so much mayonnaise on it it slid off my plate so I just took the hamburger and fries eat them by their selves so next time I order I will have them put mayonnaise on the side it was such a messy hamburger read more

Everything here was very mid level. Nothing was bad, the biscuit was definitely dry. Very dry. The hashbrowns needed some oil or butter. The facility is ok looking but looks really beat up from the outside. The service was fine and they keep the coffee full. After reading the positive reviews, I decided to try it but I was disappointed. The breakfast menu is very limited. I asked if I could get the breakfast combo without the meat. The server said, yes, and then proceeded to charge me for the other items a la carte (and the prices were not posted). We were not given napkins, oleo (no butter here), or creamer (no dairy here). I had to get up and go search for them myself because there was no server or staff member in sight. No refills for tea. In my mind it was very overpriced compared to other breakfast restaurants in the area. I paid 3 times what it costs me in another local restaurant that has excellent food and service. Historically slow slow slow, when it comes to weekends. The place is pretty small only about twenty tables. The food is good but it will take a long while. Here is our scenario, we got there and had a "10" minute wait that turned into almost double that. We sat at 1104 and our order was taken within three minutes of sitting down but it took over 27 minutes to get our food. I would just say it is not a place to go if you are in a hurry. I would also say there are better breakfast options that won't take as long. Oh by the way when it came out after 27 minutes it was wrong. Heard others around me say the same. read more
