I was told on the phone it would take about 30 minute for the inspection. They didn't inspect anything. Some guy who worked there came out and took about 10 pictures of the external damage only. Write up an estimate and I was done. The process took less than 20 minutes. I wasn't happy with this service. The estimate only covered external damages. Completely low balled on the price. I wound up going to a different repair shop. They were fantastic to work with and did a great job on my car. If your ever referred to Gerber, go someplace else.

What was supposed to be done within 24 hours for the estimate went on for over a week. I called 3 different times just to keep getting told they were working on it. I eventually just gave up and went somewhere else. This most recent time, I am having issues with my car doors glass and it possibly needing to be repaired or replaced. When I went in to ask about possibly having someone look at it, the woman at desk, gave me this blank look like | just asked her to solve Einstein's theory of relativity or ruined her day, she stuck a candy cane in her mouth, and just sat there processing like she didn't know what to do. It was so awkward. She then called a gentleman up, I explained my issue, just stating l understand that they would have to really look at it but just wanted to get an initial opinion on it and just a broad range of a cost. I left being told to take it to another mechanic or put some WD-40 on it. It was like I was beneath them. The name GLASS is in the business name! I live close by which is why I was willing to try them again. Just be wary that going by, you won't be given the time of day or any effort to try and gain your business.

I highly recommend them if you need body work.

We have all had a bad day and on one of my recent bad days, I backed up my dad's mini SUV into my…read morelittle Corolla and damaged the driver's side door so much that I could no longer open it from that side. I was massively stressed out about it and reached out to at least 6 different places to try to get estimates and figure out how much the damage would cost me to fix. These were both older cars with high mileage, so I really didn't want to have to go through insurance if I could avoid it. I got wildly different estimates from other places, all astronomical for what the damage was even on my dad's suv which had only minor damage, and no one had availability to get in for a fix for at least 3 months, which was rough. On the rec of a co-worker, called Hoffman, who told me to come in immediately and gave me a super reasonable estimate that same day (a Saturday), AND said they could start the repairs on Monday and had already ordered the parts needed. My mind was blown. I was able to get both cars fixed in under a week for under $4k out of pocket, which was nothing short of a miracle to me. They did an exact color paint match to my car and even almost 6 months later, have had no chipping, just absolute perfection in the finish. Hoffman Collision is reasonably priced, reliable, highly communicative, will work on older cars (unlike many other Autobody shops) and has a lifetime paint guarantee. I would come back here anytime (and actually did recently when I had some minor issues with my trunk no longer latching.)
