Took my vehicle in for warranty service, first time in this dealership. Nice facility with nice waiting room they just lacked a little in communication and follow up. After waiting for over an hour I followed up at service desk and was told it was on its way. Told me to go back to waiting room because they would need a signature from the cashier. After another wait I went to cashier, she called for my vehicle and a gentleman brought up the paper work. Excellent buying experience we had at Two Rivers Ford. We were shopping around for a new truck from a few different dealers/manufacturers and we kept running into roadblocks with pricing and availability of the truck we wanted. After all the disappointments with other places we saw some good reviews about Two Rivers so we then called Two Rivers and talked to Carl Dassinger. Within the first few minutes we knew we finally found the right place and person to deal with. Carl was straight forward with the pricing and the waiting period for a build. We ordered at the end of January and our truck with the options we chose arrived the beginning of April well before the expected time frame. Used Cars here are priced as high or higher than some of the comparable New Cars, this makes no practical sense, except to have you & your time already so invested in the car and dealership they have you ready to submit to anything. Two Rivers Ford customer service doesn't live up to FORD's customer service guarantees or warranty service! I recently took my 2022 F-150 Platinum truck to them for reoccurring Battery Management System faults, and three other computer module-related issues. Then there was a recall for the windshield wiper motors. They had a 3 week backlog for work orders and no rental vehicles available. My 8yr/125K ESP includes a rental car on day one. They had zero rentals available for 4 weeks and no matter when I left the vehicle with them it would be about 3 weeks AFTER I dropped off the truck before they could look at it. And no, they do not take appointments for these types of service work orders. To get service done, I have to go without a truck for 3 weeks and no rental car, or wait 4 weeks for a rental car and then wait another 3 weeks on top of that to have them look at my truck. I left the truck and waited 3 weeks to get it back. They reset the BMS (already reset 3 times before that with no success) and they could not duplicate two other faults. And the recall parts are unavailable until 3Q of 2023. I spoke with their Service Mgr and he basically said too bad, no rentals are available and they don't use any car rental company either. He was pissed that I told him that Ford's Dealership survey will reflect their poor customer service and not honoring a $5,000 ESP warranty terms. He then indicated that with a poor rating they are done with me. I will never go back to this dealership! read more

Don't get your vehicle repaired here unless you'd like to be without your car for a week. Two simple repairs, heated seat and a light. Absolutely ridiculous! Update: After a week we just decided to pick up the truck. They never fixed the driver heated seat and it's loose, the part for the light was ordered and coming in from CA but couldn't tell me when, they left dirt from their shoes in the truck, cigarette butt in the truck (we don't smoke), all of the light wires just left hanging, fuse box cover missing and some how they managed to disable the cruise control. The service guy, chuck, hung up on my husband when we said we wanted to pick up the truck. This has been the worst customer service we've experienced in quite some time and the truck is in worse condition than when we dropped it off. We took the truck to Tint World and they had the light fixed in 2 hours and for half the price we were quoted at Ford. The best customer service at Tint World. read more

I bought a 2020 Ford Fusion on 5/16/20 from Two Rivers Ford in Mt Juliet. The salesman was Sonny Formato. I've never had a better experience than this. I was only there 1 hour and 30 minutes and that was including him showing me all the technology with this car. He downloaded the app to my phone and showed me what all I can do from my phone. Run -don't walk -out of this place. Unethical sales practices- trying to take advantage of a young, first time car buyer. Sales manager, Jay, told me that one reason that Ford had a recall on seat belts for the new Broncos was because Ford was not comfortable with shorter drivers being safe........... he thought he was talking to my daughter, but it was mom handling the situation at hand, and when asked how in the heck would Ford even know she was short, Jay figured out it was mom on the phone, and got off promptly. Not sure what their game plan was; had another buyer for the Bronco my daughter ordered ?? or wanted to upsell her on another Bronco not in this so-called "recall" ?? Although we were shown a "letter" from Ford stating the recall, they were unable to produce the list of VIN numbers for us to see if her Bronco was truly on that list. Never in my life have I felt such a sketchiness in a dealership, even after years of purchasing as a single female. Terrible experience but lessons learned for my daughter. read more

Brought my F150 in for a sunroof repair/warranty issue mid May, 2022. The service rep. stated they would need to keep the car two weeks before a tech could look at it and that no loaner vehicle would be provided. I was also informed that, I could not make an appointment and return in two weeks that the car would sit idle at the dealership and no initial repair assessment would be undertaken before then. It should be noted that Bates Ford was no better in that the vehicle would remain there for a week and a half before assessment and/or repair. Why these dealerships do not work by appointment is problematic for a myriad of reasons. I have to wonder, if I was there for a non warranty issue, would the repair service been immediately provided? Needly to say when my factory warranty expires these two dealerships with rare exception have seen the last of my business! Hope someone doesn't have a work truck that is essential and you need an unforeseen immediate repair. read more

Two Rivers Ford - "The Worst" Oil Change Service I took a 2014 Ford Explorer in on 5/28/19 for their "The Works" oil change service. I picked up the vehicle, drove home, and parked in my garage. Reviewing over the invoice and all the vehicle checks performed I noticed they used the wrong oil for my engine, 5w20 instead of 5w30. I call the service department about this and they say they hit the wrong button on the invoice and they are sure they put in 5w30. That is Issue #1, well the next day I move the vehicle out of the garage and notice there are multiple oil drips in my garage floor. I then look under the vehicle and there is oil dripping from the oil filter, oil pan, and skid plate/splash guard (I have pictures). This is Issue #2 and I was under the vehicle the day before service and none of this was present. I take it back to Two Rivers and they deflect with statements like "it's a 100k mile vehicle" and "I saw some rust under there last time" which I'm aware of and had no relevance to the oil change issue at hand. They then check and find that their tech had dumped a lot of oil from the filter change into the skid plate/splash guard and did not clean it up. Driving home caused wind to hit it and throw the oil all over everything under the vehicle. They cleaned it up, changed oil with correct oil, offered apology over the phone, but no refund was offered for my time wasted via calls and visits over 2 days. I pick the vehicle up and ask the clerk for a refund, she checks with manager and a refund is given. I ask the clerk if a manager would like to discuss this issue with me and I get a "No we're ok" as a response. This is why this review exists. I was respectful and kept my cool with them throughout this experience. Completely unsatisfied customer. I have brought my car to the dealership twice this month to perform necessary regular maintenance & it could not be serviced. I arrived at the dealership prior to the doors opening & was told they either couldn't do it or I would have to wait until 3 pm until done. By no means is it appropriate for someone to wait 8 hours for routine maintenance (brake replacement). The service man had no interest in the fact it was my second time coming back for the same request or the fact I had been there prior to the doors opening. If they were unable to perform the job the previous time I should have received consideration during my second visit. I will not return only to be told my options are "no, we're backed up" or "wait 8 hours". Update: I was contacted by the dealership and was provided a courtesy vehicle until my car was serviced. My review will not have a resolution as i am still in the middle of this ordeal. My AC was not blowing cold so i brought my 2006 Explorer in on 6/17. I was told I had a leaking low side AC fitting which required the accumulator to be replaced. I was told a price of $517.71 for parts and labor + tax. I agreed and was told the part needed to be ordered so it would be ready Monday. I picked it up after work on Monday between 5:30-6 and was on my way. I noticed the AC was not overly cold but this could be chalked up to it being a hot day and needing some time to cool down. On my drive home i realized this was not a cool down delay and that the air was not blowing cold at all. It was already after 6pm (service dept closing time) so waited until the next morning to call and let them know the problem was not fixed but i would not be able to bring it back up there until the following Friday and be without a car all week. Friday the 24th i dropped it off again to figure out what the problem was this time. As i thought i had already paid to get my AC working. I did not hear from the service dept on Saturday and they are closed Sunday. Monday mid day i called in to get a status check and was told they were still troubleshooting but it appeared to be a bad PCM. Later that day it was confirmed to need a new PCM and i was told repair of this would be $1400!!!. On top of that, the PCM might not be the final problem, that's just the next step and they could not go further without a working PCM. I said that was unacceptable and was offered the possibility of a salvage/refurbish PCM for roughly $500. On Tuesday I asked why this problem wasn't identified up front and said i was already $600 into this but would never have said go ahead if i had been quoted a $2000 repair. The response from the service advisor was that nothing was wrong with the PCM when they gave it back to me (i guess that's considered unrelated to the AC still blowing hot air). Essentially telling me i drove it home so this new problem was on me. I asked to speak to the service director around 11 and was told he was out to lunch but they would get back to me by the end of the day. The end of the day came and went. I called the service advisor back after i had waited until 4 on Wednesday for them to call me. At this point i was asked "what i wanted" and aside from the obvious of a working AC, I said i would be willing to pay for the part but they needed to cover the rest. Again the director was not available at that moment and again the end of the day came and went. I called and left a message for the general manager to give me a call back today at 11am and called the service advisor, left a voicemail at 2:50pm. Still waiting to hear back from both parties. ***Edit*** Hi Joel, I appreciate you reaching out. I tried to speak with the general manager on Thursday the 30th but had to leave a message with reception. I'm not sure if he received word that I called but later that day I did get a message from my service advisor. I was told that my offer to pay for the part and have the dealership cover the labor had been accepted and they would get the work complete last week (which they did). I picked up my car yesterday and it seems to be working at this point. I appreciate the team working with me on the PCM and have increased my rating noting that. I do think there is improvement that can made. If management would like to call me for more info id be happy to talk about my experience. I spoke with Mike Sloan and made an appointment to see him on Friday, 11/30. I arrived and was greeted by Mike who showed me the car. I said "Let's do it" and the process began. Also, unless absolutely necessary, Two Rivers is the only place we will have our vehicles serviced. I would like to explain my experience with Two Rivers Ford, specifically with the Service Department. I had an oil change yesterday. I mistakenly planned for it at 3:30p, but the actual time was 3:00p. On top of that, I had to reschedule my initial appointment due to traffic delays and weather. By far, I received the best customer service I think I've ever had. I haven't seen a business where not only is every single employee engaging, hard working, polite, etc - but they all went above and beyond. The gentleman who still let me get an oil change after showing up very late (he even remembered our conversation) was very patient, very kind, and genuinely sweet. The gentleman who provided me my paperwork after the change went above and beyond as well. He walked me through the report and even showed what he did to help outside of requirements. There was a bulge on my battery and he replaced it no question, and explained that it was under warranty. The woman who checked me out explained everything to me, explained Ford points, was very communicative and so kind. The whole building was spotless. The area to plug in my laptop while waiting was very convenient. They have made a lifelong customer, and I look forward to not only business with this dealer in the future - but will recommend it to anyone who will listen. Thank you! read more

Two Rivers in Mt Juliet is a great dealership. Bought my truck from Sherman several years ago. He still checks up on me from time to time to make sure everything is still great. I have it serviced there regularly and always I drop it off in the morning and depending on the work being done it's usually ready in a few hours. Chuck in the service department takes great care of me as well. Oh and they have Owners Advantage rewards program. That can add up to big bucks to use for oil changes and service work. I spent $1,000 toward repairs, and they couldn't even give me a ride to work 5 miles down the road. They would not offer a courtesy vehicle even though my vehicle was kept overnight for repairs. I had to foot the bill for Lyfts and a car rental. The service representative was underwhelming in every sense of the word, and did not do his due diligence to get my vehicle done in a timely. On top of all of that, one of the issues that was supposed to be repaired is still not functioning properly. Take your vehicle for service elsewhere. Update 4/18: My poor experience was rectified when my car broke down nearby. The issue was fixed and I was offered a courtesy vehicle while awaiting parts and repair. They knocked off $600 and then gave us the speal about how they're not paid commission. Salesman never introduced himself and was more worried about getting off in time. I wouldn't recommend this dealership one bit. Once I decided to walk, I was then asked, "how far off are we?". I guess them knocking off the $600 is just dangling the carrot to see if we bite.
