Popped a tire on the 5 when it was pitch black and the smallest emergency lane. This tow service was the only one willing to come out. Not only did they setup the tow, but they went way above and beyond to find me a tire in the middle of the night to get me moving again. Two things I can speak on is going above beyond when I was in trouble and I can truly call them honest. I waited all day to get a van towed! I called several times every time a different person. First answer was at 2pm then 3 o'clock came around 20 minutes away. Then 4 o'clock came around they said 40 minutes on their way. 5 o'clock oops! I'm off work still waiting on tow truck. Called back was placed on hold for seven minutes then I hung up on me. Please next time just be honest instead of wasting my whole day when I could've called somebody else. read more

My son's car broke down Friday night so I called AAA. They said it would be a 45 minute wait. An hour went by, I called AAA to check the status, they said that the driver had callers ahead of me. Two hours later, still waiting on AAA. I called back, they said they were busy and could not find a driver and were not able to give me an ETA. So I looked up the closet towing company, Ripon Auto Body & Tow. I called Ripon Auto Body & Tow spoke with Enrique, he said that he could be in our area within 20 minutes to pick up the car, store it for the night, and finish the tow in the morning. We were so gratful that Enrique (Ripon Auto Body & Tow), were available to help us out. Otherwise we could have been stuck on the side of the road on the 99 for hours in the dark. This shop has terrible post service customer service. Nobody answers their office phone. I asked them for a detailed receipt of my service in Oct.2020 and received only a credit card receipt which was insufficient for my needs. No way to resolve it aside from driving long distance. Called for a tow at 1130 and was promised 45 minute time frame.....it is now 230.... no tow. After calling them they strung me along from 1130-230 after my fifth attempt they started placing me on hold just to end the call. Terrible place that doesn't belong in ripon Oh yea, and for the owners/management that's see this I was the white Infiniti Q50 . Thanks for nothing! DO NOT EVER USE THIS TOW SERVICE!!!!!!! My insurance called them to tow my elderly mother after a car accident and it took close to 3 hours for a driver to get to her after 3 delays and 2 phone calls. She was left out in over 100 degree heat while I frantically call to get updated ETAs only to be given the run around time and again. This is completely unacceptable!!!! My insurance will most definitely hear from me! I would give it a ZERO star but it made me give it at least 1!!! ***UPDATE.... at the 3 hour mark I get a call from ANOTHER tow service saying they are about 15 minutes out... and he apologizes "His buddy runs Ripon Tow and he got a little behind so he passed the call on to me.*** read more

Our 2017 Mercedes has been at the shop for almost five months, and they still have not finished the vehicle. Just one excuse after another. But they sure have cashed all the checks from the insurance company. I checked on the vehicle again today, now they say all of their employees have Covid. This was the same excuse they used last month and the month before!!! We are now going to have to have the vehicle picked up and towed to a reputable autobody shop. Not to mention they continue to take other customer cars and money and do not complete them as well. State Farm attorneys are now going to have to get involved. OK so I have never personally used this company, I however did see a tow truck from this company driving on the freeway and it was by far the coolest tow truck I have ever seen in my entire life.. it looked like a hot wheels! It was seriously CLEAN and perfectly painted black with red flames, which alone is five stars worthy for having the coolest tow truck Ripon (maybe even the entire Valley). It made me look forward to needing roadside assistance just to have a reason to call Ripon Auto Body to come help me with my truck . read more

A lengthy review follows, but if you want a short hand account, don't trust this shop. Enrique is a nice enough guy, and his towing is good, but the shop and its work quality are Horrible. Basically a job I was told would take 2-3 days took over 5 weeks, and multiple instances of attempts to jump up the price. To add insult to injury, he didn't even do all the work I paid him to do, and found out a few months later he basically just taped my car together. So I had a (minor) accident a few months back now and Enrique showed up to tow the other vehicle. He approached me and asked if I wanted a tow to his shop, claiming it was close by and that he could also do the work. I had already contacted another tow truck and shop and set up for the work there, so I declined but took his business number. It turned out that the first shop couldn't do the work (specialty shop and my cars damage wasn't as severe as first thought). So I contacted Enrique who claimed that he would show up the next day and tow it, free of charge (something that was Hugely appreciated as money was really tight) on the condition that the work be done at his shop. I agreed. However after two days he still hadn't arrived to tow my vehicle from the first lots shop. After three more phone calls (and another day) he did so. I was contacted two days after and given an appraisal of the damage and the cost. Essentially I needed a new headlight, a new bumper, a new front passenger side fender, power steering fluid container wiper fluid container/line and a new wheel well liner for the front passenger side. All told I was quoted at $1400, but he said that since he wanted to "help me out" since I was having severe money issues, he would only charge the $1100, however paint for the new car parts (one bumper and one fender) would cost another $1,000. I gave him permission to do the work, but declined the paint (as $1,000 for paint is absurd). I was told that to do the work would take roughly 2-3 days, then I would have my car back. A full week later and I'd not heard from him. I called numerous times and was always told that he would call me back in fifteen minutes, but that he was "really busy". Fast forward another week, and I find out (from one of his employees) that he hasn't even started the work. I should note at this point that my mom had fronted the bill for me as a loan, and he had convinced her to pay the extra $1,000 for paint. So he now has over $2,000 and has had my car for almost two full weeks with no work having been done. After another few days of trying to contact him (almost all of my calls were ignored at this point) I find out that they haven't even ordered parts! Not only that, but Enrique actually left the country (gone to Mexico) and his employees didn't know when he would be back!!!! So after venting my frustrations on his staff several times (when they would answer the phone) I find out that they had attempted to order my parts, but kept getting the wrong ones. Even ordering the wrong head light, which they then informed me cost $320, so my bill was being increased. I hopped online and ordered the part for them for $75 and told them to remove the one they had chosen. Fast forward Another week and I still can't get a hold of Enrique. They have had my car for over 3 weeks, have been paid over $2,000, and still haven't even ordered half of the parts. I finally ended up doing the part shopping for them and forwarded the list. After another four days, I got a call from an annoyed Enrique who had heard from his employees that I wouldn't stop calling. I was then informed that the cost of the work had jumped up another $500. He then begins to list the things wrong with all of the parts I ordered and basically told me that I didn't know what I was doing, and to leave his guys to it. I told him that I expected to have my car back within the the next three days, and told him that I wouldn't pay anything over the agreed upon price. He began to claim that he had already done much of the work, which I refuted by telling him that two of his employees had already told me that he hadn't touched it. So the Next day I heard from him, telling me that he had decided not to charge me the extra costs because he "knows I'm having a hard time with money". However he told me that it would be a few more days. Fast forward another flipping week. I get the phone call that he has Finally finished the work, however he used the initial headlight that didn't even fit my car. He told me that it "is perfectly fine, it just looks like one has a black eye because its a lot darker than the other". I told him that was unacceptable, and that I wanted my headlights to match. Took him another few days. When he delivered my car, he hadn't even finished the work. Told me to bring it back the next week. He also blacked out the headlights to match them. A few months later and everything he touched has failed. Taking it to a Real mechanic now to fix it. read more

Was involved in a hit and run and the motorcycle wasnt moving anywhere. My insurance dispatched a truck from ripon auto body and tow I was told the wait would be an hour after an hour and a half had rolled around I called to get an ETA they said 20 minutes. Waited another 30 minutes still no truck. Called back and they made some lame ass excuse about the driver had to come back to switch trucks and that if I continued being rude he would just tell his driver not to come out at all because it "wasnt worth it for a motorcycle" very rude despicable people. Worst customer service ever! Enrique tow my fiancé 1969 mustang to my house when they drop of the car it had a couple of big dents on the side of the driver sit. I cant believe the owner of this place. when my fiancé call him a couple of times and owner hang up on him and when he did talk to him he was rude unprofessional and he use cuz words. I feel sorry for who ever end up doing business with this guy. well owner didn't see this one coming we have cameras that show how everything happen when they pick up the car from the shop also I have cameras in my house and it shows how the car was when they drop it off. we ask him to let his insurance take care of it and he acted more rude. looks like he doesn't even have insurance or a proper business license to run his business I wish my fiancé research this shop before he call for service. this shop is garbage just like the owner read more

I was Skeptical due to I have a pride and joy Lexus ! I herd of this Guy who owned it was a ROP auto body teacher in collision in Fremont he very anal of his work ! My car never touch rain since I had it . It was hit on my passenger side crushed my door and body frame I mean crumbled like paper !.. so I did research on autobody's and I took a risk the only thing that held me back was it was a old home building with a big garage . I thought the building was gonna collapse. But hey they have insurance if there work place does fall on my baby Lexus Lol. Well shocking as can be they was fast 1 less than one week after they got the parts for my car!. They said it was done ... so I was thinking OMG all ready all shoot they did a half ass job probably doesn't match !.. So once I get there I see a car like mind but very detailed inside out like WOW and the paint matching was dead on !!! My whole car paint looks brand new they was suppose to only repair the right side door and body frame.. even my inside of my car was detailed not one crumb !!! .. it looked all show !!! They were supposed to pick up our trailer at 6:30. No call to let us know they would be late. When we called after half an hour to see where the hell they're at, they say they will give us a call to "update" us. Like excuse me? You can't give me an update now? 20 mins later they finally "update" us that it'll be 45 minutes. My daughter is going to miss her bed time (shes 2 so its going to be tantrum city) and it will have been 2 hours late when they arrive. No one called, I called 3 times asking for a quote and was told Gilbert would call me back but he never did. I was in an accident and the owner showed up and towed my truck. The truck had some significant work needed on it. His mechanic did an outstanding job, taking his time to make sure it was done correctly. The body work done made my truck look newer than before the accident. Enrique even got me a rental for the extra days that he kept it. I am very happy with the quality of craftsmanship that went into repairing my new truck. My roadside assistance (Allstate through AARP) (now cancelled) made arrangements with this complete farce of a tow company when I called for help. Company was completely unprofessional, and the girl in the office was so rude and condescending. 10:10 am on a Monday morning. Originally said to arrive in 45-55 minutes. Repeatedly said 20 more minutes, 12 minutes, 15 minutes. 2 hours 35 minutes later he gets there. Spoke no English, didn't seem to understand English. Didn't require me to sign anything. I followed the tow truck, in the 3 1/2 miles the car was towed he went left of center 4 times. Took him 5 tries to back the car into the parking lot. I am a victim of an illegal predatory tow by Enrique, the owner of this company. Enrique himself towed my vehicle from my apartment complex without authorization from the property owners, towed my vehicle over the 10 mile limit, and excessively charged storage fees - violations of California Vehicle Code 22658. After illegally towing my vehicle, he demanded $410 dollars. I had to file a complaint to the District Attorney of Stanislaus County for consumer fraud (A quick google search and one can file a consumer fraud complaint against this business easily, quickly, and free and I highly encourage this if one has been victimized by them; if illegal actions go unreported then this business can continue to prey on our community). I had clearly explained to Enrique on the phone the following day which law was broken and how it was broken, to which he stated he did his job "correctly". I thought it was pretty obvious that it was not done correctly if it was not done legally but he did not seem to see it this way. He then offered to give me 250 dollars as a partial reimbursement (seems he knew he was wrong). He then did not reply to my emails and did not reimburse me. I would not recommend this business for any need because this business resorted to crime for profit. read more

My insurance company called this tow place for me and I'm glad they did. I got an ETA of one hour but waited over an hour for my tow truck which sucked because it was late and cold but aside from that Cameron the guy who towed my truck was pretty quiet for the most part but also nice. This was my first time towing my car since lowering it so I didnt think of how much time consuming it can be but he was so patient and made sure my car didn't scratch his truck or even the street pavement. It was the longest towing experience overall but I appreciate Cameron being so patient with the situation and being so calm and nice. I've had a previous car towed many times (BMW) and the tow truck guys are nice but I'm not about having full blown conversations about cars and life with strangers. But that's me! read more

Anytime-Anywhere Towing, towed my stolen vehicle from an apartment complex in Stockton back on 8/4/2016. I was not notified of the tow until 5/6/2017 and the car had been sitting in storage for 9 months, racking up storage fees. Instead of understanding that he did not follow State Laws, and accept the tow, title search and 3 days of storage I was offering, the owner, Enrique, told me that he has every right to ask me for what he's asking me for. He also told me that my car had "slipped through the cracks" and wants a "couple grand" from me to get my vehicle back. Because that's what's fair. Seems like a pretty good racket for a business to do this to a few consumers a year and add some coin in their pockets. When I walked into the office to discuss this, the 2 employees started speaking in Spanish in front of me so I couldn't understand what they were saying. Shady business practices here!!! read more

I feel bad for him because a quick 3 hour job turned into an entire day because of a major accident that happened to cross our path.
