This month is our 2 year anniversary of receiving house cleaning services from the Purrfectly Kleen…read moreteam! Despite the fact that adding our house (in Alexandria) to their rotation of clients mainly in Arlington had its logistical challenges, they have not let that interfere with providing timely service. They send dates of service for 1 year in advance and coordinate at the beginning of the week for the exact time of arrival. These reminders are perfect to help us deconflict with our busy family schedule (and to remind us to straighten up before their arrival!). When it comes to the cleaning, their work is thorough and spotless. The first thing I see when I get home is the gleaming kitchen sink!! They do a wonderful job in the bathrooms, bedrooms, and with our floors. Any tricky area we ask about ahead of time (like a shower) is given extra attention at the next appointment. We appreciate the services of the folks at Purrfectly Kleen for keeping our house clean and safe (and as a working parent allowing me to keep my sanity)! I highly recommend their services to any household in need!!!!

I had a tough stain on the carpet I was particularly worried about- luckily they also clean carpets unlike some other services I checked out. They sent two very friendly and polite cleaners for the job. They came on a Sunday which was also very helpful for me, even tho their website says they aren't open Sunday. After their services, I can't see the stain at all and both rooms I requested to be cleaned are spotless! The cleaners checked with me each time to be sure I was satisfied with how things were looking before moving on with the next task. Winonna was the receptionist I spoke to while making the booking. She was very communicative, friendly, gave quick responses, and answered all my questions. Overall the service was definitely worth it for the affordable price. Highly recommend!!

We hired Christiana and her team for a cleaning - they were super flexible about coming a few days…read moreearly (last min too) - but the overall experience on cleaning day overshadows this flexibility We had scheduled for a cleaning Friday @ 4pm - we have a dog - so I made sure I'd be home from work in time to keep the pup at bay. At approx 4:20pm I received a call that was "hi, we're on our way" and it cut out and I received no response back. Nothing for 30 mins, so I called back to find out that they were on their way and that it would only be another 20 mins. 1 hr goes by after that (it's 2 hrs past the scheduled time), the response I got was "we were coming from Ellicott city, we are on the other side of hyattsville, another 20 mins, sorry its all due to traffic). So after arriving 2 hrs late - 2 of the crew memebers came up - spent 20 mins chatting - and then 1.5 hrs cleaning... at this point its about 730pm-8pm on a Friday and our dinner plans have been 100% ruined. Its not the amount of time it took to clean, it was showing up two hours late. MORE SO it is important to point out that they lied to me on the timing - Ellicott city is 26 miles from where we live, so how were you planning to get there in 20 mins?!?! Even without rush hour traffic? The overall cleaning was good (little weird they didn't bring their own vacuum and asked to use ours), but more so did not appreciate the communication and the deceitfulness

A friend recommended this company so I was pumped to have them clean our new condo we just…read morepurchased. I called a month in advance to schedule my cleaning. Spoke with Carlos, who seemed unorganized. I explained that we were going to closing on the 14th and I would like a evening cleaning, since he said they take their last appt at 4. He said he would reserve me for the 14th and the 15th just in case our closing went over and we couldn't make it. I thought, great how wonderful and helpful... He cares! He tells me that he will email me the quote and the confirmation. I wait and wait and wait..... Two days later still nothing. So I email and call him.... He says he's been "busy" and will send it soon! Then a couple of more days go by and still nothing. I contact him again and he said he wrote my email wrong and the "quote" was in his outbox. OK?! So why not contact me to fix the issue?! Or at the very least make sure I get my quote?? Then as if this was a sign enough to not use them and schedule with a more reputable company, my friend who referred me send me a screen shot Carlos messaging her, stating he lost my contact information and could she provide it..... Wait this is the CEO of the company and he's this scattered brain?! She ask me if its ok and I tell her yes. I wait all day expecting him to contact me since he stated he needed to contact me about my cleaning. NOPE! So I finally email and say here is my contact info, My friend said you lost my info. He gave me some silly excuse about moving and someone misplacing my information. Sir, you emailed me and I'm almost sure it saved my information in your email (inbox and outbox) Becoming skeptical of the company I ask if everything was still on and OK for the 14th. I get a response from Carlos that he would not be able to clean my condo on the confirmed day because he booked someone else for that day and that he could move me to the 15th and 16th instead. WHAT?!?! I was never told this or sent any kind of information asking if I would be OK with having my date changed. How would I have ever known?! This is unacceptable .... So I explain and send him the original email where he stated the dates and confirmed that he would be cleaning my condo on the 14 or 15th, no answer back. I wait a day and email again and he finally responds with he can fit me in on the 15th at 8 a.m. I agree and think all is well. Think again! I write him the night before the cleaning to confirm the time they will be arriving tomorrow.... And I get 10:30-11:30 time frame. Wait, wait wait..... This is the final strike. I explain that I was told they would be there early in the morning and now once again am being pushed back. He responds with that he's cleaning another house (my friends) which is bigger and obviously more money so we got pushed out of the way..... I have everything planned and timed for my move-in and he has completely ruined everything. I also have an appt at 10am and will not be available to let this company in. Not only have I been treated like the red headed step child more than once (completely my bad for over looking all of the signs of a bad business) he doesn't try to fix the situation by telling the other people that he needs to push them back an hour or so. This company obviously needs to work on scheduling, customer service and organizing. This is not how you do "business" and I would def say customers beware. If they are this scattered and money hungry, it's speaks volumes about their over all business. I spoke with my friend wed because she just sold her house and was trying to schedule to have them clean before they hand over the keys and she said that Carlos has been difficult and hard to get in contact with and scheduled. He's terribly unorganized and it was difficult for her to get her house scheduled and cleaned by them again. That he is not good with follow through and doesn't respond via phone. They came to clean my 1500 sq foot home that was completely empty. They show up a@ 9:20am. They were here till 11:05 and Carlos showed up.... You could tell he was rushing them and I honestly can't say what they did bc my house is still dirty. It took them an 1-1/2 to clean a empty place?! They leave and we come in and see the TERRIBLE job. My room closet (both) were not vacuumed, they left several cob webs in the apt after we asked for them to be cleaned, the stove side wasn't wiped down and still had grease, there are dust bunnies every where, and make the house smell like cleaner to trick you. They also used all of my paper towels, soap, step stools and supples. I pay for you to bring your stuff and not use mine. I inform Carlos of issues, he comes back and re"cleans" but doesn't bring vacuum even though I showed him pics. As I was cooking last night a few dust bunnies flew off top of fridge! GROSS! I was basically robbed

Please don't use this company, or its related company, New World Services. New World CLEANING…read moreServices is owned by a husband, New World Services is owned by a wife. I started with New World Cleaning Services - the last straw was when I (1) walked into the power bathroom of my renovated home and saw toilet water from the toilet brush all over new wallpaper (what kind of person cares so very little about the quality of their work that they shake out a toilet brush all over a wallpapered wall?) and (2) despite having explained many, many times that bleach, ammonia and other harsh chemicals cannot be used on a marble tile floor because it is a natural stone, they had used something other than the gentle soap I gave them and stripped the finish off all of the tiles on our new marble floor (this was discovered late at night, getting ready for bed). I then started using New World Services but that was just as bad. Newly refinished hardwood floors have been scratched and the crew cracked and broke part of a very expensive imported chandelier and did not tell me - I was left to figure this out weeks later. If you are OK with a cleaning crew seriously damaging various parts of your home, and not telling you that they did it - leaving you to find it out - then by all means, hire them as either of these companies are for you.

I wanted to provide an updated review based on our recent experiences…read more We've worked with Pilar, who handles all of the communication, while different members of her team come to do the cleaning. One challenge is that it isn't always the same cleaners, and the quality has been inconsistent. Some visits have been great, while others have fallen short, which has been frustrating. The biggest issue, however, has been scheduling. I want to extend grace because cleaning homes is physically demanding work, and I understand that delays can happen. That said, the arrival times have consistently been several hours later than the scheduled window. If you decide to use Pilar's service, I'd recommend planning for the cleaners to arrive three or more hours after the time you're given. While we've had some positive experiences, the inconsistency in both the cleaning quality and scheduling has made it difficult to rely on the service.
