The restroom towel dispensers failed to give me dryness.

Rio De Grill. I don't speak Spanish, but that sounds like it means something amazing is coming. I was there with a party of four as we all opted for the meat. Oh my goodness, what a show it was. The servers, one by one, just kept coming in with meat out of nowhere and cut it for you. I couldn't even get over the peach cobbler and the appetizers, and the sirloin, chicken and the ham after that came to play. The pineapple was sinful, absolutely disgustingly delicious. The ambiance is very Brazilian indeed with the pineapple employee shirts. $26 is a bit steep, but if I go once every 17 years, it might be worth it.

My Valentine's Day was my Hubby Tony Vanoy, and I decided to surprise him. We arrived early because our day was planned out. We went in and not many people there but it was early. The waitress slash hostess greeted us and said in case you didnt see the sign we are Dinner All Day due to Valentine's. That's a $10 per person increase on the price but again its Valentine's Day Love is Priceless right??? I hadn't seen the sign and really grateful we didn't need reservations because I forgot to call ahead. I looked at Tony and he said We are here..Just pay the lady...lol!!! She seated us so we could start our Brazilian Steakhouse Adventure. She showed us how to use the Red, Green and Yellow Triangle on our table and took our drink order. I went with unsweetened Iced Tea with lemon and Tony took a large Budweiser Draft. We went to the salad and sides bar I was happy to see that they had Caprese Tomato Salad and Crostini. I also tried just one piece of Deep Fried Squid..heck take a chance on Love and Squid?? Why not?? I also got just a half scoop of Seafood Salad to go with my Lettuce, Tomatoes, Black olives and Onions with Ranch Salad, and few pieces of chilled Shrimp. They started coming around with the meats on swords and we were going to try everything they delivered to our table, I might not eat it all but I am going to try it. Firs they arrived with Garlic Bread, then grilled pineapple..two of my favorites. Followed by Italian Sausage, Bahama Sausage, Chicken Breast wrapped in Bacon, Ham, Chicken Legs, Prime Rib and Sirloin, followed again by Pork Tenderloin and Lamb..then came a Beef Tenderloin crusted in Garlic..and we had to turn to Yellow...Pause Please we are on meat overload I could have made a meal with the Prime Rib, Garlic Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Garlic Bread, Grilled Pineapple and my Caprese Tomato Salad and Crostini. The food was all good, and after eating about half of what was on our plates we decided NOT to turn back to Green from the Yellow but to go straight to Red and let them know we Stopped!! The Meat had officially kicked our butts!!! If you like Meat or on the Keto Diet then this is the place for you. During day lunch is only $15.99 for 12 different meats and dinner starts after 3pm for 16 meats at $25.99 drinks cost extra and the salad bar with its hot and cold sides is only $9.99 The food was very good and plenty of it. As Tony said, If you leave hungry after eating here..You have a Big Problem!!!! The services was great, she checked on us time after time..Definitely will go back but not for awhile..This place you need to be really hungry...But it was a Great Valentine's Day Date for us both...Not bad prices..our check was $70 including drinks, taxes and tip

Chili and it's great!

Excellent! First time here or any other Brazilian type of steak house! Was it authentic? Nope! But it was delicious! Winnie was a very fast and prompt server who explained everything to us..we got the salad bar and I was gonna get the meat but no way I could have eaten all of that! It did look good tho! I loved it! Definitely will be back for dinner with my family! Lunch was less than 12 and dinner is 27 for all the meats! Must try!

Food was really good, they really keep the meats coming. Employees were really friendly. With all the road construction I went past it twice before I saw it, not their fault of course.

This is a Chinese restaurant not Brasilian at all. Dirty restaurant, floors as sticky, nasty bathrooms. Dry meat, stay away from this place.

My margarita was not good at all. So bad that I didn't even drink more than half which is just a sin when it comes to expensive cocktails. My husband's chicken sandwich had about as much chicken as a tiny tender strip. He left hungry. I had the steak special. Which had good flavors (as anything covered in cheese would) but if I'm paying $60 for a medium rare steak, it's a shame that it came out medium well. Roasted cauliflower was mid, I make better at home in my air fryer. Service was good but the waitress was pretty pushy with the extras like we were insane for not ordering appetizers and not letting her bring us a glass of 4 roses. Ambiance was fine. But the experience was not worth my money, not even if it was half the cost honestly.

The bar staff was outstanding from start to finish. We had a few different bartenders taking care of us, and each one was attentive, friendly, and great at helping with recommendations. We ordered the New York steak and the Brussels sprouts special. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, and the Brussels sprouts hit that ideal balance--crispy, flavorful, and just right. Everything we had was packed with flavor. The drinks didn't miss either--ice-cold beer and expertly crafted cocktails all around. If you find yourself in Charleston, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend.

We were in visiting on a work trip and we were looking for some great food. First off, the venue space is nice. I really liked the atmosphere and vibe. Unfortunately, things kind of didn't start well and they just went downhill from there. We were looking at the higher dollar menu items like the seabass and scallops. They had a scallops special that caught our attention but the chef wouldn't budge on the menu sides. We were looking for something lower carb. What I wanted was the scallop dinner with the special miso sauce, but instead of the sweet potato hash, I wanted veggies. But the server said the chef said no. Based on that, we both ended up ordering a hamburger. It wasn't what we wanted but we felt it was the safest option based on the quality of the appetizer. You see, we had ordered some calamari and it was so bad we had to send it back. It was nothing but hard crunchy batter. There was very little calamari actually in the pieces. You couldn't even pierce it with your fork. It was horrible. Based on the quality and flavor of the calamari, we decided to not take the risk on sea bass or scallops. The burgers came out and they were ok. Nothing special. I've read through some of the other reviews about the complaints of how salty the food is, and I can confirm the food we had was way over salted. Now for the service. This was a really awkward and uncomfortable night. The server was trying but he honestly didn't fit the price point of the menu. Each interaction was more awkward than the next. The things he would say and the way he communicated, made us so confused and uncomfortable. He was a nice guy, he just probably isn't a good fit as a server. We've had good meals in Charleston before, tonight wasn't one of them. The martinis we had were good, but we walked out of there only spending $70, while we had a budget of $125 each to spend. This restaurant lost out on $180 worth of business all because they didn't want to budge on the scallops dish. Do the math, this wasn't a smart business decision.

It was a Thursday night and DT's looked like a very nice place. There seemed to be a lot of tables open but the hostess said there'd be a wait since we didn't have reservations. The bar was pretty empty so we just grabbed a seat at the bar. We decided to split a Grilled Caesar salad and an order of Lamb Shanks. We also ordered two house wines. The Caesar salad came out first and they had split it on two plates. We thought that they had given us each a salad since it looked like they had placed two romaine heads on each of our plates. The bartender said "No, that's how they split it". They must've grilled the romaine on the grill with steaks because the lettuce had a steak taste to it....very very good. We'd never had lettuce taste like that. The salad dressing was very good. Next they brought out the lamb shanks. The menu said it came with 4 shanks, but there were only three on the plate. They were done perfectly and there was a lot of meat on the bone. Some of best I've had. It would've been nice if they'd had 4 on the plate as advertised but we were fine eating just the three of them. Nice place...good service.

The guy next to me ordered a bourbon with a single cube and it came out with the craft ice. Weird that you would need to ask like that. The filet was downright awesome. Well prepared and seasoned. It came with a loaded baked potato which was well appointed. The bartender was attentive, but not overbearing. I washed it all down with a nice local lager. Great dinner in Charleston.

I wanted to try something new and interesting and through my Yelp research I found this spot. It's located in downtown with metered street parking free Monday-Saturday nights after 6pm and all of Sunday. Luckily, we were able to find a spot easily. Inside was modern and relatively clean. We had to wait a little bit to be seated as they were pretty busy; however, this place had a decent amount of seating and space. Service was good overall, but it wasn't as consistent as I would've liked for actions such as water refills, asking for extra napkins, etc. This was partly because they were very busy that night. They have a variety of food options - apps, salads, sandwiches, pies (pizzas), and dessert. We ended up ordering a large pizza (thin crust) to split - half Thai and half Chicken Gouda. Both were yummy although the crust was a tad burnt - nothing bad to the extent that taking bites were an effort. Overall, I preferred the Thai since I've never come across a Thai style pizza and I could really taste the curry sauce. The only downside of the Thai was that the shrimp were slightly overcooked, which could be potentially explained by us ordering a pizza split in two styles with them cooking the entire pizza evenly versus what is needed for each ingredient. We finished the entire pizza between the two of us, but I could see someone having some leftovers. If possible, they might want to do some minor pest management. The entire time of our visit a fruit fly or gnat was hovering around us and the food. We tried to catch it and protect the food, only for it to ultimately take a permanent dip in my water. My overall assessment was that it was a good place to try in the city. It's not something I would crave, but I wouldn't mind coming back again if I was in the area.
