This used to be a super good place to eat. The food was always fresh and, GOOD! But not this time! Horrible!!! The food was awful, cold on some tables. Empty dishes with no food. Noel and I went to China Buffet in South Charleston before her Doctor's appointment. I was craving Sushi and it was a Monday so our only true option was China Buffet. The food was good not Great! I can understand not being able to take your leftovers home because some people would fill their plates right before leaving just to have a bunch of takeout. But, Noel and I both have had gastric surgery so we can never finish our plates. This is why I normally don't do buffets! I didn't have a lot of options today! Due to being a monday!! Fantastic Chinese Buffet in the state capital of WV. We found this place with the help of Yelp while on a road trip, we were hungry and boy did this place fix that problem. Easily the best Chinese buffet I have ever been to! I love their rolled chicken tacos, sweet and spicy chicken, sushi, and crab rangoons. The waiters and waitresses there were so sweet and accommodating. I had greasy fingers one time, and my fingers were sliding all over the wallet, and our waitress got my card out for me and helped me put it back in as well. We ordered carry out there for the first time on Christmas Day. We will never go back. No one got the white rice with their meals. I am reared a combination and I got my fried rice but I did not get my egg roll. The food the we did get was luke warm at best and it was just ok. We tipped $10 on carry out because it was Christmas and he took the time to repeat the order back to me even with how busy it was on that day. I was also impressed that I was to the side waiting patiently and an older couple took cuts in front of me but he saw them and still help me in the order we came. Food: They have few dishes different to the typical Chinese Buffet dishes which I gave them extra star for it. Service: very friendly and polite. Cleanliness: Good. The staffs constantly clean the food area. Atmosphere: The dining area is big, not as crowded as the other Chinese Buffet places. Me and my family went to the China buffet and it was absolutely disgusting. I don't recommend going here. It was horrible service and when my dad told her to keep the change, she looked around super confused, and idk why we told her to keep the change when we never should've because the food was absolutely disgusting. I don't know what happened to this place, but it used to be really good and now it's terrible. All the food was cold except for the lukewarm soup.
