The wife and I Both did the buffet before the evening crowd came in and the buffet still seemed fresh. My wife didn't care for the water. So we suggest people order a drink. The ambiance is what you would expect in a Chinese restaurant, it's a cute little place. read more

It's a Chinese restaurant. It's very good . Same people ben working in it for years . Food is consistently good . And it's just the same as every other Chinese place . read more

This Chinese buffet is small but during peak times they keep it fresh. Their takeout is very good as well.

Food was good. Service was friendly. I would go back if I wanted a fast bite to eat. They have dine inn, carryout and I think delivery in the area. read more

Eating the buffet make sure you go when it's the busiest so they are keeping the items fresh on the bar....take out is always pretty good, never really any complaints except how expensive it's getting and seems the egg rolls get smaller every month lol read more

I just love this place, though I've never eaten in for the buffet, just get the carry out! The ladies at the front desk great you from about 30 yards away when you walk in the door. You're like an old friend they haven't seen in 10 years. The food is solid: I love the Szechuan Chicken; and the Hot & Sour Soup is the best medicine when a cold or sore throat is coming on. My bill is usually about $12 and I can stretch the food to five or six meals for the two of us! What a deal! The buffet looks amazing with a wide variety of treats. We must come in for it sometime! Check this place out with plenty of parking in the Saint ALbans Mall read more

Good food I love the chicken fried rice . Buffet is excellent, plenty of selections on food and desserts

Eating here was a mistake. $10 for a buffet of overcooked, lukewarm food that lacked a lot of variety. I was afraid to eat some things because it contained meat and was cold to the touch. I was not able to consume $10 worth of food because I feared for the rest of my evening. A gastric roulette, if you will. Also, the bathroom is just.... I mean look at the photo. It's obvious by the large amount of writing that this wall has been nasty for a LONG time. $10 for THAT buffet and you can't afford some scrubbing and wallpaper? Come on guys. read more

We dined in because there was only a small three deck buffet and most items on the buffet were meat-based (we are vegetarian). We therefore ordered from the menu and were impressed! The sauces were distinct and the vegetables were sautéed perfectly! The broccoli was especially delicious. The broccoli dish was smallish but the vegetable Lo mein was huge! Yes we would recommend the menu to fellow vegetarians. read more

I ordered chicken chow and noodle and this is what I got a container of onions , no chicken and rice. This is the second time this has happened. I called and the person at the other end said I was mistaken. Ok, I am not Asian but I do knowhat chicken chow mein is . Will not be going back ! read more

Dragon China Buffet - This what I got ... - Chinese Near Me - Saint Albans, West Virginia

The only good thing about this restaurant is the friendly staff. All of the buffet food was just unbearable to eat. Years ago, this restaurant was so great to go to, but it has definitely gone downhill. read more

I would consider this a hot bar over a buffet. If you just want meat and fried rice this place is for you. But when I go to a Chinese buffet I like a variety of rice and noodles and veggies to go with my dish. One row of products does not make you a buffet. I haven't ordered off the menu to say if the overall food quality is good or bad. read more

Ordered take out once and was very unhappy. The chicken was hard and overcooked did not have much flavor.

Everytime I've came in the food was fresh off the bar and very delicious. Usually we order to go and you get fast service

The name is actually Dragon Garden. Used to be one of the best Chinese buffets in the area but has not been that for quite some time and continues to decline. If you're craving Chinese and can't go somewhere else it will do but not recommended. read more

My one experience here was very different from that of the previous reviewer. Although I wouldn't categorize the staff as overly friendly, none of them were at all rude during our visit. This restaurant offers your typical options for a Chinese buffet, but I thought it was actually the best food of any Chinese buffet I've ever been to. The food just seemed really fresh and the sauces for the various dishes were very tasty. read more

This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant. I recently moved out of state and have come to find nothing compares to this place! The food is delicious and is always hot! I have never had anything bad from this place! I am still trying to find a comparable place in my new home state and nothing has come close!! Keep it up dragon garden!!! read more

We had lunch off the menu. The shrimp with vegetables was very good and an ample amount, modestly priced. My husband thought the vegetable fried rice was nothing special. We looked at the buffet and it seemed to be very good with a wide variety of foods. Also some nice looking desserts. read more

Great good and service best Chinese food I've have and I have had a lot if food I love apple pie there's was great they have peanut chicken it was amazing read more

The food here was the best i've had of any of the local chinese restaurants. The staff wasn't the friendliest i've encountered, but they were by no means rude. The variety of food is about the same as most of the local places, but sadly they don't have sushi..at least not in the few times i've been there. The price is decent, and it the food is always fresh. And the place is never TOO crowded. The decor is dated, but not horrible. It always looks pretty clean when I go in, but never spotless (not that I expect it to be immaculate). Definitely my favorite place to go for some tasty chinese buffet. :) read more

Best chinese food I've ever had. Im not a fan of buffets but this place is amazing. They have the best crab ragoons, peanut chicken and lo mein. read more

My husband and I ate here Wednesday, June 22, 2016. I have to disagree with the reviews on here which state this is the best Chinese they"ve ever had. The service was good, but the food was mediocre at best. The 3 dishes I tried that were "broccoli and beef", broccoli and chicken, and one more with broccoli and something, all tasted alike!!! Food was barely warm. The wontons in the wonton soup, some looked like that had been fried and then put in the soup. Chicken fried rice was bland. Didn't care for the taste of their sweet and sour sauce, and the egg rolls had almost no filling. Won't be back!!! read more

Our family has eaten here, about 5-6 times/year, for the last 20 years and really like it. Almost always, we do take-out and find the food delicious and in large portions that last for several meals. read more
